Jinki gasped quietly, holding the boy closer to him.

"Why would you say that.." He whispered

"Because, i'll just  up again.. It's worthless for a stupid pesant like me to keep living." Kibum said, a little more harshly than he expected

"Kim Kibum I refuse to execute you under these circumstances."

"Why?"

"Because you didn't do anything wrong!!"

He sighed, leaning his head back on the cold grey walls.

"But you basically told me before that I deserve to be executed now you're telling me i've done nothing wrong" Kibum sighed once again, expressing his distress towards the King.

"You know I didnt mean what I said Kibum, so please just calm down." The King said, holding the boy closer to him.

"You're so strange Jinki.."

"How so?"

"You go from screaming at me, threatening to execute me, to holding me and telling me nothing is going to happen to me.." Kibum started, "I just dont understand.."

"I have an odd soft spot for you, Kibum.", "I dont quite understand it either, all I know is it kills me to see you upset in any way, shape, or form."

"You make it sound like you're in love with me."

"Who knows, its a possibility."

The soft fox ears that lay upon Kibums head shot up at an instant after those words slipped out of the kings mouth. Did he really love him? Or was he just messing with his mind again?

He didn't know what to feel. Could the King really be returning his feelings that hes had hidden for so long? 

Kibum let out the smallest of a sigh.

Its not possible. Not in the slightest way.

I mean, who would love a crazy fox boy?

No one.

So Kibum left it at that, telling himself over and over that the King did not return his feelings. Not even in the slightest way.He was just trying to make him feel better, that or he was just trying to be cruel and play with his mind.

Whatever the cause, Kibum convinced himself that it wasnt true, and that it never would be. He was just too crazy, too strange, too Kibum. No one could ever love him.
