“All done, baby!” Kevin beamed as he sat next to his wife on the couch. Ha-Eun rolled her eyes and continued munching on pop-corn before speaking, “Oppa, the baby is not due for another ten days.”

Kevin kept beaming as he answered, “Yes, but we have to be prepared. I’ve placed emergency bags in the kitchen, in our bedroom, in the living room, in the car, in the guest bedrooms.” He listed off his fingers. “Oh and in the bathrooms, too.” He added.

Ha-Eun gaped at him as if he had grown an extra head. But she wisely opted to not comment on that for that always ended up in an argument.

The clock was lazily ticking to eight in the evening. Ha-Eun was engrossed in the romantic soap playing on the television.

One glance next to her told her that Kevin was fast asleep. Her eyes softened with deep love for this man. They had been arranged to get married by their parents. Their companies had merged together and the bond of marriage was formed between them.

Ha-Eun smiled as she recalled their instant dislike towards each other. Who knew they would grow to love each other unconditionally and now they had a baby on the way.

Ha-Eun reached to Kevin’s hair when she felt it.
