“Junsu!” Midori called as she closed the clasp on her necklace. “Remember what I said! Lilli has to be in bed by nine, Alyssa will shut up if you put on the dark crystal, and…” She trailed off when he exited the kitchen, slowly on a grape popsicle that had turned his mouth purple. “Um…”

“These are delicious!” he moaned, making a squelching sound as he pulled it from his mouth. “What’s in them? Some super sugar or something? Oh, my god.” And back in it went.

Her left eye twitched. “Don’t…make those faces…in front of…my nieces…please.”

“Eh?” He looked rather perplexed. “What?”

“I’m taking those things away from you.” She tried to pull the popsicle out from between his teeth, but he held on stubbornly. “Yah. Gimme.”

“No!”

“Give it to me.”

“NO!”

“GIVE IT TO ME, JUNSU!”

At the exact same moment Yoochun and Hani chose to stumble through the front door, laughing uproariously about something or other, Junsu bellowed, “DON’T PULL IT OUT! I’M NOT DONE YET!”

Hani blinked a few times before doubling over, giggles erupting from her nonstop. Yoochun failed at holding back his laughter and fell over onto the couch, wheezing.

Midori glared hard at her boyfriend. “I hate you.”
