"Lu-luhan,whe-where are we going?"Sulli panted and asked with difficultly.

They had been running for ten whole minutes now.

Luhan looked back and saw that Sulli's face had turned pale ando her breaths were shallow.

"Let's turn in here.We should lose them."Luhan said,leading Sulli into a dark alley.

As it was a cramp space,Luhan gently pushed Sulli against the cold brick wall and stood in front of her in a close distance.

"Lu-"Sulli began but was cut off by Luhan covering with his hand and shushing her.

"Sshh.I can hear them approaching."Luhan said in a low voice,his eyes straying to look for the men in the dark.

Sulli's heart was pounding and her breath got hitched at .

Luhan was so close to her.

She couldn't breathe.

She could hear the sounds of the men panting and shouting to one another that they are going to separate and look in different places.

Their voices getting distant.

Luhan turned to face Sulli.

His eyes locked with hers.

His hand fell away from .

Luhan leaned in closer.

Sulli's heart started beating even more quickly.

As Luhan's lips almost touched hers,Sulli suddenly realised what they were doing and turned her head to the side.

Luhan's eyes lingered on her face for a while before taking a few steps away from her.

"Ar-are they gone?"Sulli stammered,her cheeks flushed.

Luhan merely nodded and stuffed his hands in his pockets.

After a moment of silence,Luhan spoke up.

"Let's go."

Sulli followed behind him.

The street was almost empty,except for a few people walking and talking.

"Sit here."Luhan suddenly stopped,causing Sulli to bump into him.

He was indicating towards a bench.

"O-ok."Sulli answered and sat down.

Luhan sat down beside her and ran his hand through his hair.

Sulli glanced nervously around her.

It had been so long since she was alone with him.

Luhan noticed that she was still looking rather pale and she was gently patting her chest as if to sooth her heartbeat.

He moved closer to her.

Sulli looked at him in surprise and moved away.

However,Luhan held her hand before she could do so.

He gently pushed her head down onto his shoulder.

Sulli immediately sat up and looked at him with wide eyes.

"What are you doing?"Sulli asked.

Luhan ignored her and just gently pushed her head onto his shoulder again.

He places his hand on top of her head to stop her from moving.

"Don't move."Luhan said.

Sulli was confused yet pleasantly surprised at his act.

Her heartbeat started slowing down as she felt her eye lids drooping.

As she was about to drift off to sleep,she heard Luhan talking on the phone.

"Yes.They are not chasing us anymore."

She could hear someone talking on the other end.

"Did you arrive safely?"Luhan spoke again.

Suddenly,Sulli was wide awake.

She sat up abruptly,causing her to bump her head against Luhan's.

She could hear Luhan groan and speaking again to reassure the person on the other line that he was fine.

Sulli quietly mouthed a sorry to him as she saw Luhan rubbing his chin.

She was thinking of calling Sehun to pick her up when her phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Sulli.Are you alright?"

It was Sehun.

"Yeah,I'm fine.How about you?"

"We managed to lose them.I took Seohyun back.I'm going to pick you up now.Where are you?"

"Umm,I think it's 74th Street.There's a coffee shop here called"Wen-"

Sulli was cutted off as a hand reached out and took the phone from her.

"I'll bring her back.Don't worry."Luhan spoke quickly down the line before ending the call.

"What did you do that for?"Sulli asked him,fuming.

"I am saving him the trouble of picking you up."Luhan merely answered as if it was obvious.

"I don't need you to bring me home."Sulli stated,gripping her hands.

"Look.I said that I will bring you home and I will."Luhan said,looking at her."I always keep my promises."He added.

Sulli ignored the jab from him adn spoke again.

"I am perfectly capable of going home myself."Sulli said,folding her arms and staring defiantly at him.

"Oh really?"Luhan asked in mock tones."Knowing you,you hardly ever came out at night."

Sulli was surprise that he still knows her so well but quickly recomposed herself.

"I do.I'll show you."

Having said that,she stood up and started walking.

"I don't think it's that way."Luhan spoke up from behind her.

Sulli realised that she was indeed walking in the wrong direction.

She mentally face-palmed herself.

"I knew that."She said and walked passed him quickly.

Luhan chuckled softly and shook his head.

"Don't you have anything better to do?"Sulli asked turning around to look at him.

Luhan shrugged and just kept walking.

"You can go home now."Sulli said.

No answer.

"You really should go home now."Sulli said again.

Still,no answer.

"She is going to be worried about you if you don't go back now."Sulli finally said.

"I should bring you home first."Luhan finally answered.

Sulli shook her head no as she continued walking.

"Go home Luhan."Sulli said."Things are different now."

"How?"Luhan asked as he kept following behind her.

"You have a fiancee now."Sulli said,her voice wavering.

"And what?You have Sehun now?"Luhan asked sarcastically.

"It's not like that between Sehun and me."Sulli said.

"To you maybe."Luhan said."I can see that he is developing feelings for you."

Sulli didn't answer him.

"Things are different now."Luhan said."Because you left me two years ago.2

Sulli stopped walking.

The cool breeze tugged at her hair,carressing her tear-stained cheeks.

"I had no choice.I said it before."Sulli said,hugging herself.

"What left you no choice?What was more important than you and me?"Luhan said,his emotions getting higher.

"Stop Luhan."Sulli said.

"What was so important that you broke off our relationship?"Luhan continued talking.

"Don't Luhan."Sulli said,her tears started falling down.

"What left you no choice until you had to leave me?"Luhan asked,his voice getting louder.

"Stop!Luhan."Sulli shouted,crouching down on the pavement."Please."

Luhan was stunned by her actions.

He started walking towards her.

"Don't come near me."Sulli said,causing him to halt in his steps.

"You don't know how hard it was for me to make that decision."Sulli continued saying,hugging her knees closer t her."You don't know.."

"Sulli,I-"Luhan stopped.

A black Sedan pulled up beside them.

Sehun got out.

He saw Sulli crouching on the pavement and ran to help her up.

Sehun glared at Luhan before bringing Sulli to his car.

"It's not his fault."Sulli mumbled quietly to him,as she leaned against him.

Sehun merely ignored her and sat her in the passenger seat.

He closed the door and went to the driver's side.

Sehun gave one more look at Luhan before getting in and driving off.

Luhan was left standing there alone in the street.
