I really regret not confessing to you earlier. If I did, I would be the one marrying you........not..........her.

All I can do is sigh now as I watch you fret over which tuxedo to wear for your big day.

"Baekkie-yah~! Which one do you think will match Noona's dress?" You asked me as you dumped 2~4 tuxedo sets on my lap. I cringed inwardly when you mentioned your fiancee. 

I simply smiled at you and held up the beige colored tux with a white tie. "I think this would match Noona's dress!" I said with a fake smile and enthusiasm. You smiled brightly and hugged me as you thanked me continuously. "Thank you! Thank you! I knew it was a really good idea to let you come with me! Now I'll have to rub it all on Minseok hyung's face for doubting my choice!!!" You cheered as you went to one of the fitting rooms to fit your tuxedo. 

"Oh how wrong you are and how right Minseok hyung is............." I thought to myself as I pictured our wedding instead of yours and Noona's wedding.

As I was picturing my dream wedding, with you in my arms, I felt something wet slide down my face. I was about to look up if I was sitting under a leaking air-conditioner, I heard myself sniffling. I chuckled bitterly as I wiped these darn tears off my face and told myself to face the reality and get myself together. "Do it for yourself, Byun Baekhyun! Do it for your happiness! Do it for HIS happiness!" I told myself. I sighed in frustration when I really felt that none of my mental cheers are working nor are they helping me with this pain in my chest. 

This painful, agonizing pain. This PAIN would have never happened if I wasn't such a coward 2 years ago before you met the "Noona of My Dreams~" as how you dubbed your now very-soon-to-be-wife-in-a-week.

After you chose the tux, you suddenly started dragging me to the bridal shop, where Noona's currently at with Minseok hyung. "You do know that not only will Noona murder us, but your brother right?" I told you as we neared the Bridal Shop. You nodded and flashed me the same smile that made me fall for you -and made me hate myself more for falling deeper now- and said, "Yeah I know them reeeeaaaaallllyyyy well~! So yeah, I don't think Minseok hyung would want to murder me infront of Noonerz and I'm very sure that Yi-Noona wouldn't want to kill off her own soon-to-be-husband now would she?" I inwardly grimaced at your never-ending love for your Noona, and gave my signature rectangle smile that is more of a WRECKtangle if you were me now. "Haha~ Yeah I'm really sure they wouldn't do that."

"I TAKE IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed as Minseok hyung tackled me to the ground with his eyes of pure fury. "I SPECIFICALLY TOLD YOU TO BUY HIM A LEASH AND USE IT ON HIM DID I NOT?!" Minseok hyung screeched into my ear. I winced and nodded. "I thought you were kidding!!!!!!" "BAEKHYUN! YOU KNOW VERY WELL THAT JOONMYEON CAN'T HELP HIMSELF FROM SEEING YIFAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And here comes the pain and sadness seething throughout my body, heart and mind. 

And as if Minseok hyung realized his mistake -since he's one of the people who know about my current state of mind- he immediately rolled off of me and helped me up. "Oh god, Baek! I di--" "It's alright hyung. My ears aren't bleeding, although I may suffer from temporary deafness." I joked while sending him a knowing look that says 'don't say anything else'. He nodded and went off to find you and Yifan Noona......or should I say Yifan Jiejie, since she's practically going to be family soon.

"I'm so glad you came and helped us with the gown and tuxedo Baekhyun-ssi." She told me as she took my hand in hers. I smiled my genuine smile and nodded. "It's no problem at all Yifan Noona! Or should I say Yifan Jiejie~!" I joked around. She laughed and nodded. "Yes, that's good to know~! Oh by the way, has Joonie told you about being the Best Man in our wedding?" I felt my heart turn cold and drop down to the floor when she asked me that question that I prayed so hard Minseok hyung or your youngest brother Jongin would be asked. I shook my head slowly as I kept my eyes on you. The you who's smiling, as if you can't feel what I feel when you were still single. Why are you smiling? Can't you see I'm in great pain now?! "Ani, I actually thought it would be either Minseok hyung or Jongin-ah, since they're Joonmyeon's family members." I said, which is really true. Yifan smiled and shook her head with a soft smile on her face and gave my hand a squeeze. "Don't worry Baekhyun-ssi, I'm very sure you'd make a great Best Man! Heck I could even hook you up with my cousin Luhan, who's going to be the Maid of Honor!" She said jokingly. I smiled a bit and looked at Minseok for SOS.

Seeing my hidden expression in my eyes, Minseok immediately told you and Yifan that we had to go back to the university to pick up my cousin, Chanyeol and Minseok's girlfriend Kyungsoo. "But I thought Kyungie doesn't have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays?" You said. We mentally facepalmed and I quickly explained that my cousin begged Kyungsoo to go with him for his Grand Recital. "But if Chanyeol-ssi has a recital, why didn't you go?" You asked once again. Yifan nodded and gave me a questioning look. "Yeah Baekhyun-ssi, why didn't you go, since your cousins and all?" I inwardly groaned and discreetly pinched Minseok's side to answer. He yelped abit and quickly waved the questions off and bid our goodbyes and dragged me away.

"I'm so, so, so, so sorry about not arguing any further with my dongsaeng! You know how Joonmyeon can be so convincing!!!" Minseok hyung said after we all got into the car with Chanyeol and Kyungsoo. Chanyeol looked at me and had the expression of 'are you alright' and i just nodded a bit. "What happened back there Minseok oppa?" Kyungsoo asked as she leaned on Chanyeol's shoulder. I glanced at Minseok hyung before sighing deeply and curled up into my seat as I watched them talk animatedly. "Well....remember my brother is getting married?" Chanyeol and Kyungsoo nodded. "Yeah....well apparently Joonmyeon and Yifan wanted Baekhyunnie here to be their Best Man for the wedding..." Minseok hyung said. They nodded and gave me a look of sympathy before Kyungsoo spoke up. "What did you tell them Baekkie?" "I told them the truth, which was that I thought that either Minseokkie hyung or Jonginnie was going to be the Best Man since they're the brothers of Joonmyeon....so Yifan Jie explained then I just agreed...I mean what's there to loose? I already lost my chance so why not enjoy being by Joonmyeon's side before he moves away to have his own family." I told them with a shrug. Chanyeol facepalmed and Kyungsoo rolled her eyes, making me raise my brow in confusion at them. "Baekhyun hyung.......forgive me for saying this but..........ARE YOU CRAZY?!" I flinched at Chanyeol's rare outbursts and glared at him. "Yah. Don't forget I'm your HYUNG." Kyungsoo rolled her eyes again, making me glare at her -which she ignored- "What he means is that you're crazy for agreeing to this when you're still obviously hurt." She said with a blank expression. I sat back in my seat and groaned while rubbing my face furiously at how right they were.

"Why did I even?!" I said and slammed my head onto the window continuously. I heard Minseok hyung groan beside me and muttered something under his breath before stopping the car at his house.

"Alright, Kyungsoo, you and Chanyeol live together now right?" Minseok hyung said. "Neh Oppa." "Good, now I want you and Chanyeol to wait for me and Baekhyun in my house now. I need to talk to him." "Okay Minseok Oppa." Kyungsoo said before I heard a door open then close. 

Once Minseok hyung and I were alone in the car, he grabbed my shoulders and made me face him. "Hyung, can we please just get in the house?" He just rolled his eyes and commanded me to shut up and listen to him, which I did. "Baek, you love Joonmyeon right? If you do, please try to control yourself from showing any of your feelings towards him when the wedding day comes. I don't want you to embarass yourself.

"Now I'm telling you this because I care for you Baek. I care about your feelings. That's why I really want you to hold it in until the wedding ends.....you don't really need to attend the reception. I don't want you hurting more than you are already." Minseok hyung finished while looking into my eyes with sincerity. I nodded and let myself cry from how right he is. Minseok hyung pulled my head into his chest and rubbed my back as he comforted me silently.

{Wedding Day}

May 22, the day where the love of my life gets married to someone who isn't me. The day where Kim Joonmyeon and Wu Yifan take an oath to spend the rest of their lives as husband and wife.

I sighed as I watched Yifan Jie walk down the aisle in her beautiful wedding dress with a huge smile on her face and watery eyes. "She's so beautiful~!" I heard Jongin whisper to you. You smiled and made your way to guide her towards the altar, where the rest of us were at, and kissed her cheek. I held in my tears and kept my face in a mask of happiness for your marriage with your love. 

"Hyung, you're crying!" Jongin whispered in my ear when you and Yifan kissed to seal the oath and promises you both made. I smiled at Jongin and nodded before wiping away the tears that are streaming down my face. "Yeah, I know Jonginnie. Don't worry I'm fine! I'm just happy for Joonmyeon hyung and Yifan Jie" I lied to him before walking out to the balcony to get some fresh air.

Once I got to the balcony, I leaned on the railing as I let my tears fall freely. "Oh god I'm such an idiot for not confessing to you earlier!" I said to myself as I looked down at the garden, where the reception will be held. "You're not an idiot!" I heard your voice behind me. I looked back and gasped when I saw you standing there and felt my soul fly away. "H--how much did you hear?" I asked you. You just smiled and hugged me before you pulled away. "I really didn't mean to walk in but I heard everything you said." Oh my god. "Minseok hyung is gonna kill me." I said out loud, making me facepalm mentally. You chuckled and ruffled my hair before saying your reply, only to stop when Yifan Jie came in, smiling and dragged us out.

"Jiejie, what's happening?" I asked your wife. "Picture time!!!!!!!" She said as she put herself inbetween us and linked her arms with ours but leaned onto you more with her smile not faltering. You smiled and gave her a kiss on the forehead before looking at the camera with that angelic smile of yours. I sighed inwardly and did the same, only mine is a fake one.

"Okay guys! One, two, three~!" The camera man, Sehun, said before he clicked the flash button and took our picture with his polaroid camera and took two sets of pictures before he gave each copies to me and to you. "Thanks Sehunnie! Oh by the way, Baekhyunnie! This is Luhan's dongsaeng, Oh Sehun! Sehunnie this is Joonmyeon's best friend and my somewhat brother-in-law, Byun Baekhyun." Yifan Jie said. I smiled my real smile and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you Sehun-sshi!" I sad. Sehun just smiled at before returning his attention towards you and Yifan Jie. "Congratulations on your marriage by the way!" You smiled and shook his hand while thanking him.

I silently walked away while you chatted with Sehun and Yifan Jie with a very heavy heart with this reality happening right now. I smiled bitterly at my aching heart with each step I take, going far from where you are.

But right now, I don't care. No matter how much it hurts me, I don't regret pleading you to not leave me, to come back to me.

"Kim Joonmyeon, I wish you a very happy married life..." I whispered to the picture I was holding before I teared it into half with my heart and tears before I looked down when the rain started pouring down.
