Chapter four

Young Saeng's POV

“I told you… My family is still out there; I have to go and find them.”

Shaking hands with the teacher, and the male he had kicked earlier; Young Saeng began to make his way towards the exit. However before he could try and leave, a soldier from the entryway stopped him. 

"Sir I need you to stand back. We will be closing the doors soon, and we need everyone seated and accounted for." Stepping away from the man, young saeng tried once again to leave through the door, only to be stopped once again by two more 

"I need to leave; I have a family that needs me... I have to get to my family." Before Young Saeng could even finish the soldiers were pushing him back inside, the earlier soldier speaking for the others as they were japenese, and we're unable to understand what he was saying. 

"I'm sorry... we already registered you. You can't leave now, we have to be able to know who is here." 

 "I am not just going to leave my family out there..! Now let me pass!" Slamming his body forward, young saeng tried to make his way pass the guards, hitting, and wiggling his way through. He could almost see the door, when he felt a sharp pain to the side of head before blackness over took him.

 The light streamed in from a window above where young saeng was laying, blaring bright in his face jolting him out of the darkness that had overcome him. Sitting up, he looked around taking in his surroundings, seeing that he was indeed still in the shelter; Young Saeng grabbed the gun that was by his bed on a table. 

Closing his eyes for moment, Young Saeng tried to clear the dizziness that tried to make him fall back into the darkness,  that wanted to consume him once again. Standing up, he took in his surroundings noticing that people where sleeping in the surrounding bunks in the area; however, when his eyes landed on the window that had woke him up in the first a sigh of relief washed over him. 

Running towards it, Young Saeng used a chair that was against the wall to climb up, and look out through the window hoping to see if he would be able to get out or not, and to see how well guarded the place actually was. Smiling to himself, he noticed the guards where still letting groups of people inside, and fighting off some of the undead that where trying to grab at the people running from them. 

Gripping the window,  Young Saeng worked the window open just enough so he could squeeze his way through it before shutting it once again. Without a glance back towards the building, he ran towards the fence trying to find a way to make it over without being noticed by the guards patrolling. 

Unable to believe his luck, young saeng noticed a area that didn't have Bob wire around the top of it, the only problem was that is was near the guards that were over watching the entry process. Not having much of a choice, he crouched down as low as he could go, moving along the crates that left a space between itself and the fence. 

Hiding behind the last crate before the needed fence, taking a couple of deep breaths before running full speed towards the guards wrapping his arms around both of their shoulders knocking the twos head together rendering them unconscious; he ran towards the fence as people started to notice him. 

As he made it to the top, people who were waiting in line began to look up drawing attention to him, in turn letting the guards notice he was trying to escape. Two ran up to the fence, giving it a hard shake trying to knock him back to the ground, but Young Saeng held on trying his best to make it to the next side. 

Finally making it, Young Saeng was forced to let go, unable to hold on any longer as the two men had still been shaking the fence. Landing on his , he tried not to think too much about the pain as he began running the way he knew was the direction of the apartment building. He could still hear the sounds of shouting as the guards and people were trying to make him come back. 

Panting, Young Saeng finally came to a stop when he couldn't take it anymore; looking around holding his side, he noticed a abandoned jeep with the side driver side door open, and keys still in the ignition. Running towards it, he aimed shooting a couple of undead that were eating, what looked like the owner of said jeep. Putting a bullet into the poor bastard's head, he entered slamming the door closed, before turning the jeep on driving away as more undead gathered from the sounds of bullets going off.

It was night time before Young Saeng made it back to the apartment; he wasn’t sure if the apartment was infested or not; keeping his speed, he drove around the building, noticing that the front door was still open with several undead surrounding the entrance. Gritting his teeth, he shot at a few of them grabbing their attention as he put the jeep in reverse leading them a good enough distance away.

Whipping the jeep around, he pulled on the emergency break coming to a halt right back in front of the entrance; jumping out of the car he hurriedly move to shut the doors. Shooting a few of the undead that came out the building, he shut it before running toward the fire escape on the side of the building.

Jumping up, he yanked the latter down climbing up as fast as he could, knowing the undead were right behind him. Reaching the top, Young Saeng heaved himself up the rest of the way, before yanking back up the latter and began running up the stairs to the top floor window.

Opening the latch, he climbed halfway through, only to be met with two figures in front of him; a tear streaked Kyu Jong pointing a sword and a tear streaked Hyung Jun pointing a gun.

“Young Saeng hyung..?” Young Saeng climbed the rest of the way through, and smiled.

“You missed me..?” Hyung Jun sobbed and flung his arms around his neck, as did Kyu Jong. At the commotion Hyun Joong came out of the baby’s room, gun at the ready till he saw Young Saeng. The others pulled away as Hyun Joong came forward shaking his head.

“You’re alive… the school... the school was overrun with the undead; it was impossible for me and Jung Min ah to even get passed the front door… I…” Hyun Joong couldn’t finish his sentence as he began to sob uncontrollably.  Young Saeng pulled him towards him, connecting his lips to his loves', trying his best to calm his distraught Lover; only when Hyun Joong was able to relax and respond back did Young Saeng pull away slightly.

“It’s okay, I am okay…” Hyun Joong pulled him into a hug, holding him tightly. It was several minutes before Hyun Joong was able to let go of Young Saeng, by then Jung Min was with them holding the baby in his arms. Young Saeng made his way to Jung Min grabbing Seung Jo, who was asleep, into his arms smiling down at him.

“Why don’t we all sit down, and Young Saeng ah can tell is what happened?” Jung Min suggested. Everybody made their way to the sitting area, and sat down; Hyun Joong making sure he sat as close as possible to Young Saeng.

“Well it happened again; I was stuck at school, but this time my classmates were with me. We are on the eighth floor, and it reached there before we even knew about it. So, I had to get them out; from the last time, I knew going out the front door would be suicide so I made my way down to the fifth floor, and took the fire escape out of the building. I was going to leave them then, but a woman started to scream making too much noise, which attracted the undead to us; so, I ended up leading them to that center where Hyun Joong ssi said was available to go to if the outbreak happened again. After which I made my way back here; I wasn’t going to stay there, not when I knew all of you were still here.” Young Saeng leaned over and placed a kiss on Hyun Joong’s cheek once he finished making everybody smile.

“We all thought you were gone, when Hyun Joong hyung came back without you.” Hyung Jun whimpered as he cuddled more with Jung Min, who wrapped his arm around the frightened man.

“Hyung Jun ah, there is no way I would leave you… At least not until you are all safe in America, where the infection hasn’t hit at all. By the way, did you and Kyu Jong ah get the things I asked for?” Kyu Jong nodded, and pointed towards the wall, as the door was block with everything that could be spared. Young Saeng turned around and noticed boxes of formula, diapers, and wipes; along with boxes of can goods, water, and toilet paper. Young smiled handing the baby to Hyung Jun, he made his way over to the supplies, and grinned.

“Hyung… Did… Did you know this would happen?” Young Saeng turned around, and noticed that everybody was looking at him strangely; sighing he finally told them everything.

“You remember that dream I had months ago; well ever since then I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was going to need supplies again, so every time I had the chance; I would get boxes of supplies, those things where was the last things I needed.” Motioning for all of them to follow him; Young Saeng led them to the door that had been locked since they moved in.

“I broke the lock one night, and saw that it was a small storage room; so I cleaned it out, and started putting the supplies in it. Everything we need is in here…” Young Saeng pulled his keys out of his pocket, and opened the lock, showing them what was inside. There were boxes of noodles, and water bottles; Along with large dried squid bags, powdered food, more canned foods, and baby supplies.  Young Saeng reached in and grabbed Hyun Joong’s gun bag from the time in Korea; ping it, he let them see the inside of it.

“I restocked the bag, and managed to get more guns and ammo. So if we for any reason have to leave here, then we are prepared. No splitting up, this time we stick together; there is only us this time, we can't afford to lose anybody.”

Hello my nasties... it has been a long time huh??? I have no excuse for it, but I was in a very dark place for a while, but I'm back and here to stay this time. I am still working on a time for us, but here is this one... I hope you like it, if you are still here that is.
