Chapter one

Nobody’s (mine) POV

“Young Saeng ssi are you almost ready..? We have to get going; Kyu Jong ah is going to be here with Seung Jo ah, so you don’t have to worry.” Hyun Joong called out; buckling his gun belt on his waist. The need for Korean police officers, for the Korean people that came to Japan, was in demand so Hyun Joong and Jung Min decided that they would rejoin the force. Young Saeng joined school again to finish his medical training; everybody had a job besides Kyu Jong and Hyung Jun, they were in charge of taking care of Seung Jo till Young Saeng got home.

Young Saeng swung his bag over his shoulder, as he kissed Seung Jo on the forehead; leaving him in Kyu Jong’s arms as he heading to the door, where Hyun Joong was still waiting at patiently.

“Young Saeng hyung I have to run some errands today, you know pick up some more formula and baby stuff, so once Hyung Jun ah gets back from his dentist appointment ; we will not be here to answer the phone okay?”

“How long will you be gone?” By now, Hyun Joong was paying close attention as well.

“Only a couple of hours, it shouldn’t take too long. Hyung Jun should be back in an hour, its nine right now, so about noon no later than one.” Young Saeng nodded, and pulled out a list he had made the night before, and then handed it to Kyu Jong.

“Since you are going to the store, pick these things up for me; remember to go by the list completely, okay even if you don’t think we need it, just do it.” Young Saeng whispered as Hyun Joong was now at the door, and out of ear shot of the two talking. Kyu Jong nodded, and slipped the piece of paper in his pocket.

After a couple of more goodbyes, Young Saeng left with Hyun Joong, using the elevator to the ground floor, and then headed to the car. Hyun Joong dropped Young Saeng off first, and then headed to work.

Heading to class Young Saeng dropped his bag to his side, and pulled out his text books; he was there a little early so he decided to finish the chapter he was reading the other night, to pass the time. After a few minutes, he looked up at the clock on the wall noticing that it was already time for class, but he was the only one in there. Getting up from his desk, he made his way to the door; opening it he glanced around seeing nobody, he closed the door and began walking down the hallway.

Young Saeng still didn’t hear anything, as he suddenly began to shiver from a very uneasy feeling in his gut. As he was getting closer to the corner, he began to hear slow footsteps coming closer and closer; pausing he stood as quietly as he could, the sound stopped completely, making Young Saeng all that more afraid. Swallowing his spit, and wiping his hands off on his pants, he quickly turned the corner coming face to face with one of the students from his class, who reached out for him. Instinctively, he dodged the person’s arms, and grabbed a hold of the wall, kicking outward landing a foot to the person’s stomach kicking it away from him.

Cries of surprise and horror rang through the hallway, as several more students ran to help the fallen person up; Young Saeng looked around, and noticed his class was in the hallway either staring at him in shock or trying to help the person he just kicked up. His teacher suddenly appeared him front of him demanding to know what happened. Young Saeng now realizing that he had made a mistake, instantly bowed and apologized. The student was finally able to stand up, and make his way to Young Saeng and the teacher.

“You’re that guy that came from Korea right? You were one of the last loads to arrive in Japan, the rest of us were taken out a long time ago, but you were the only medical student to stay.” Young Saeng nodded and bowed once more. The man waved it off, with a small smile of sympathy.

“Hey it’s okay… the things you must have seen there, I doubt anybody will be the same after that.” Young Saeng smiled lightly, as he bowed once again thanking him for understanding.

“Well now that this is settled, why don’t we start class huh?” Everybody headed to the room, as they reached it Young Saeng went back to his seat taking out his notebooks and pencil.

Three hours later, the class finally ended and everybody began to pack up. Young Saeng looked up at the clock noticing that it was already almost one o’clock; Kyu Jong, Hyung Jun, and Seung Jo should already be back home by then. The thought eased Young Saeng’s mind as he was putting his books back in his bag; the student began to stand to leave, when the teacher spoke again reminding them they have their final exam the next Monday, and if they passed it they would be able to finally graduate. When suddenly a loud bang was heard outside the door; Young Saeng looked up, and he saw the fingers leave the glass before anybody could look at the door.

A shiver ran down his spine, when a moment passed and the hand hit the door once more. The teacher stood up, calling out to the person outside the door, that the class wasn’t over just yet they would have to wait; when the hand hit the glass once again. Huffing in agitation, the teacher walked out from behind his desk, walking to the door. A horrible feeling swept over Young Saeng, causing him to stand up quickly yelling ‘wait’, as the teacher got closer to the door. This made him instantly pause and look at him confusedly.

“Young Saeng what is it..?” Young Saeng stepped a little closer, and waited; sure enough the hand hit the door once again, but this time another one hit it as well. Young Saeng began to shake his head as he backed away from the door.

“Oh God no…”

0o0o0o Hyun Joong’s POV 0o0o0o

“Hyun Joong ah..! are you okay?” Jung Min called out as he taped Hyun Joong on the shoulder bringing him out of his daze. Hyun Joong jumped slightly before looking up at his friend, who stood there looking at him worriedly.

“What is it..?”

“You… are you okay? You have been sitting there with this blank face for the last half an hour.” Jung Min said sitting on his friend’s desk; Hyun Joong ran his hand through his hair.

“I don’t know… I got a call from Kyu Jong ah saying that he was back from the store with Hyung Jun ah, but he also said that Young Saeng ssi hasn’t given them a call like he always does.” Jung Min stuck out his lip as he thought.

“Well did he know they were leaving?”

“Yeah that’s the thing… Kyu Jong ah told us this morning that he was going to the store with Hyung Jun ah and Seung Jo ah, and Young Saeng ssi even asked when they were going to be back; so he knew they were going to go out, but why didn’t he call them at one, or when he got out of class like he always does? This is what’s confusing me.” Jung Min nodded agreeing that it was strange, ever since Young Saeng started going back to school; he always called and checked on everybody, making sure that they were alright, but this time he was late and if he knew Young Saeng as he thought he did; Young Saeng was anything but late. However, before they could talk anymore about it, the captain came out of his office calling out Hyun Joong’s name.

“Hyun Joong kun, I need you and Jung Min to head to the mall for an assault attack on one of the worker there.” Jung Min and Hyung Jun nodded, grabbing their guns and badges; loading their guns they made their way out of the building and to their car.

As they reached the mall, the commotion seemed to have gotten worse, as they could hear screams coming from inside the building. Taking their guns out of its holster, they took off the safety and made their way inside the building, to where a large crowd had gathered. Making their way through a dreaded sight laid before their eyes, a man was leaning over another, and was ripping the flesh from the body with its teeth. The people seemed to be in shock at what they saw, most of them were Japanese, and had not experienced something like this yet; Hyun Joong grabbed a bag of peas from the floor, and threw it at the undead, making it look up at him. Jung Min pointed his gun, and shot it between the eyes.

As it fell to the ground, Hyun Joong made his way to the corpse nudging it with his boot, making sure it was dead before turning his attention to body on the floor; shaking his head slowly he raised his gun, pulling the trigger shooting it in the head before it could come back to life. As Hyun Joong was putting his gun back in his holder, as scream filled the store as people began to run towards them. Hyun Joong pulled out his gun, shooting at the undead coming from the back before it could bite anyone. Jung Min came to his side shooting as well, till they got as many as they could see. Hyun Joong was shocked; how could there be so many in one spot, he thought the military had taken care of this already, till something clicked in his head; turning to Jung Min he grabbed his shoulder, turning his friend to him.

“Young Saeng ssi…”

OMG so it has begun once again, man don’t these guys get a break..?  BUT! Then again this is me we are talking about here XD
