-3^rd Person POV-

The blue skies were clear, no clouds covering the bight sun…it was the perfect day to….

‘PARK~ PARK~ PARK~’ Byul and Max both sung happily together

Jihyo suggest to spend time out at the park, which caused excitement for Byul and Max…even Jaejoong couldn’t disagree due to the nice weather…though he had second thoughts when it was after all Byul who will be there and clinging on to him.

Which…he was correct.

She was dancing and bouncing around a little too happy…she even jumped on to his back, forcing him to piggy back her.

Jaejoong groaned ‘Get off, your damn heavy.’ He hissed

Byul wasn’t affected by it…she never really was to begin with, she only smiled wider ‘Quick Quick Joongie to the park~’ she beamed

Jihyo smiled watching the two youth in front of her, Max who walked beside could only chuckle at the scene. Upon reaching the park with the playground in sight, Byul was overfilled with excitement, jumping off of Jaejoong back she ran around the playground pointing and staring at the equipment with interest and curiosity.

‘What is this?’ She pointed happily and excited at a long slide.

Jaejoong raised a brow not taking in Byul’s questioning seriously…but that look was replaced with amusement and slight shock, when her face told no lie.

‘it’s a slide…’ he stated ‘have you not seen one before?’

Byul awed and continued to stare at the newly discovered equipment before her, as if expecting something to happen by just staring at it.

Jaejoong face palmed ‘Climb up the stairs on the end and slide down, you IDIOT!’ he explained

Listening to Jaejoong, she did as he instructed, walking up the stair at the end and seated herself down…however there was no other movement that occurred

Max chuckled shaking his head at her cuteness and cluelessness, before walking over to her and gave her a light push. Sliding down and reached the down of the slide Byul was thrilled and fascinated.

Watching form the side, Jaejoong face palmed for the second time.

‘What generation is she in exactly?’ he questioned himself

Jihyo chuckled at His comment, but eyes never leaving Byul ‘rarely does she get to go out.’ She said ‘I’m sure Byul had explained to you her situation.’

Jaejoong nodded in a bored matter ‘something about curse, bonded person and losing feathers’ he said trying to remember what she had told him

A displeased expression came and go on Jihyo’s face, but the smile remained ‘Listen and watch her Jaejoong.’ She said

Jaejoong looked at her confusion written on his face ‘What---‘

‘Jaejoong?’ a voice cut Jaejoong off form his sentence

-Jihyo Pov-

A new voice came, I observed as Jaejoong had lost interest and focus on what he was saying just by the newly voice. Jaejoong turned looking at the direction of the voice and like the wind, his face brightened up and his mood was a 360 degrees turn.

‘DAMBI!’ He beamed in joy

‘Dambi.’ I thought of her name

the girl was smiling happy to greet Jaejoong, her attention turned to me as she bow respectfully

‘Hello, I am Som Dambi’ she introduced

I nod ‘Pleasure to meet you, Byul had told me about you’ I said with a small smile

Mentioning of Byul’s name the girl’s eyes lid up as she searched for her. ‘Byul!’ she called happily

Catching Byul’s attention, she came over with Max behind her.

‘Hi Dambi’ Byul greeted with a smile

‘Ah I’m Max’ Max introduced himself ‘and I already know who you are.’

‘Wait, you told them about Dambi?’ Jaejoong questioned looking at Byul

Byul smiled ‘of course, I tell them everything’ she said proudly

Dambi giggled and turned her attention back to me ‘I hear from Jaejoong that his working for you’ she said

I nod ‘neh, as Byul’s playmate.’ I said

Once the word playmate left my mouth Jaejoong fumed, but he was ignored

‘Byul told me it’s a wishing shop and that you could help with almost anything.’ Dambi said ‘ it’s lucky to have ran into you and meet you, because I have something to ask of you.’

I nod ‘of course. Please go ahead’ I said with a small smile

We seated down in a circle

‘It’s about a school, a friend of mine goes to.’ Dambi started ‘Ever since her classmates played ouji board…weird things had been happening there. I thought that Jihyo could possibly find out why.’

‘Ouji board?’ Jaejoong questioned

‘It’s a board game able to communicate to spirits.’ Max explained ‘something that you shouldn’t take as a joke.’

‘It’s extremely bad, if they are amatures. Ouji boards aren’t just use as communicators, but it’s also an open gateway for spirits to cross to this world.’ Byul added

 ‘You want to help your friends?’ I asked

Dambi nodded ‘Yes. I’m worried, so if there’s anything could do…’ she trailed hoping I would help

I smiled ‘Very well. Your request is accepted.’ I agreed

I could sense that Jaejoong was smiling happily

I smirked ‘By Him’ I said pointing at Jaejoong

Jaejoong stood up shocked ‘ME?!’ he shouted and protested ‘WHY?! DON’T YOU NEED A PROFESSIONAL FOR THIS KIND OF THING?! ARE YOU NOT TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY?!’

But I ignored him ‘I am a little worried about him going alone, I’ll need to find someone to go with him….’ I wondered out loud ‘Byul is helping me with the shop later…Max also is busy…’

‘Yunho.’ Byul said which only I heard

I looked at her, who held a grin, which I smiled at ‘ ah, I believe that is a great choice.’ I agreed

-Wish Shop-

-Jaejoong Pov-

While cleaning the room, I was still angry about the whole situation

‘Why do I have to do it?’ I questioned for the millionth time.

Jihyo was sitting on the couch braiding Byul’s hair…so much for both of them being busy..

‘Because if I accepted, she would have to pay me something valuable, correct?” Jihyo questioned

It hit me, that I was true.

‘I can’t have Dambi be in her evil clutches…’ I mumbled…

Bonk…

‘YAH! What the hell!’ I snapped, rubbing the back of my head

‘Unni, is not evil!’ Byul said

Did she just chuck a flipper at my head….yes…yes she did.

I huffed angrily continuing my work ‘But if I ended up in a bad situation.’ I said a little worried

‘I’ve recruited help.’ Jihyo said

I looked back at her questioning, Jihyo wasn’t looking at me, only doing Byul’s hair, Byul on the other hand was just relaxing with her eyes close…that was until her eyes snapped opened.

‘Ah, Yunho is already waiting at the school.’ Byul said with a smile ‘you shouldn’t keep him waiting Joongie’

My mouth dropped and eyes widened ‘WHAT?!’ I shouted

I was speechless and gapping. I looked at Jihyo for an explanation…but she only smirked.

 ‘YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO GET YUNHO! OF ALL PEOPLE!’ I shouted angrily ‘YOUR DOING THIS IN SPITE OF ME!!’

‘HIS GOONA START THINKING WE’RE FRIENDS!’

‘But since this is for Dambi…I’ll do anything!’ I stated confidently.

Bonk

‘WHAT IS IT THIS TIME?!” I snapped glaring at Byul

She was pouting ‘You can’t talk about another girl while I am right here!’ She stated

I rolled my eyes at her.

‘Don’t worry too much. I’ll give you advises and guidance’ Jihyo said

I was grateful of her. Slightly…

‘Here, ya go. Put it on.’ Max said, popped out of nowhere, with a cat ear headband.

I raised a brow…’what is this for…exactly…’ I questioned

Jihyo and Byul smiled…slyly. ‘So we can communicate.’ Jihyo said

What…

-School-

I stomped to the destination grumpily… there I could already see that Yunho was leaning against the wall. He turned and saw me…only staring at me for a few second…

‘Let’s go’ he said motionlessly turning around

‘Don’t ignore it! Say something! What about the damn ears!?’ I shouted throwing a hissy fit.

‘Your sense of style is your own business.’ He stated

‘PABO! THIS IS NOBODY’S STYLE!’ I snapped

-Flash Back - -10minutes earlier-

‘HELL NO!’ I protested

Putting the ears on, I looked more ridiculous.

‘WHY DO I HAVE TO WEAR THESE?!’ I questioned

‘Like I said, so we can communicate.’ Jihyo stated ‘this way, you can hear me no matter where you go.’

‘Why not more normal looking ones?!’ I sneered

Jihyo was still braiding Byul’s hair, while Byul was reading a book with the twins…max was just…laughing his off on the ground at me.

‘I don’t have any.’ Jihyo said

‘Then don’t you have anything else?’ I asked hopefully

Byul stopped reading and looked up at me ‘Nope. I like them’ she beamed

‘Why?’ I questioned dumbly

She grinned ‘It’s amusing.’ She answered

-End Flash Back-

‘Amusing. Very Amusing.’ Yunho said.

‘NOT YOU TOO!’ I growled.

See? Yunho thinks so too. – Jihyo

I could hear Jihyo’s voice clearly from the headphone…along with Byul’s giggling. I could only glare at nothing in front of me.

‘oh yeah. Jaejoong, can you reply this to Yunho? – Jihyo

‘What?’ I asked

Good evening. Yunho. –Jihyo

I frowned ‘why do I have to say that?’ I asked

So Yunho and I will get better acquainted, of course. I have to introduce myself properly. - Jihyo

I bit down my frustration ‘I’ve got a message from Jihyo’ I said, getting Yunho’s attention.

 ‘Good evening, Yunho…’ I repeated the message

‘How do you do?’ Yunho said

‘I’m Jaejoong’s employer, Song Jihyo.’ 

‘I’m Yunho’

‘Take good care of Jaejoong.' 

‘You have my word.’

‘Jaejoong whined that he needed your help, so…--- WAIT! I NEVER SAID THAT!’ I shouted realizing what Jihyo had made me said

‘Joongie! Joongie!’ a new voice I heard coming form the headphones

My eyes twitched ‘what?’ I asked rudely.

Tell Yunho, I said hi~ - Byul

‘Yah! Stop playing around!’ I growled

HI YUNHO! – Byul

I winched by the loudness of her voice.

‘Hey Byul’ Yunho said, with a small smile

Was I seeing this right? Yunho smiling…I must of lost it.

I’ll be listening, so off you go to school. GO – Jihyo

‘Go my .’ I hissed but went to the school’s gate.

I jumped holding onto the gate, trying to climb over…which I struggled to do so.

But noticing that Yunho hasn’t moved yet I looked at him ‘Let’s go! Move it!’ I ordered him

-3^rd Person Pov-

-Jaejoong & Yunho-

 Jaejoong who was halfway over the fence, looked back at the school. He gasped seeing an eerie yellow waste color smoke.

‘What do you see?’ Yunho asked

‘There’s something yellow like color looking like waste and smoke …spirits?.’ Jaejoong questioned the last word more to himself.

However, through Yunho’s eyes, he could only see a normal school building, no smoke of what ever. Yunho looked back at Jaejoong with a questioning look.

‘You can’t see it, so why asked?’ Jaejoong stated ‘it’s really strong. I don’t think you’d believe me anyway.’

‘is that thing you see what’s causing all the trouble?’ Yunho questioned

‘Probably.’ Jaejoong replied and climbed over.

Are you inside? - Jihyo

‘Neh’ Jaejoong said ‘the spirit seems like a really strong one too.’

Describe it to me – Jihyo

‘It’s a black coil of smoke, and looks like its wrapped itself around the building. ‘ Jaejoong described

I see...- Jihyo

It’s the spirit that got released from the Ouji Board… -Byul

Jaejoong sulked ‘I knew it’s gonna be something like this…’ he said gloomy

Now you two have fun sneaking inside. – Jihyo

‘I know what I have to do! YOU GUYS ARE ENJOYING THIS WAY TOO MUCH!’ Jaejoong snapped angrily.

Yunho and Jaejoong did as told, walking around the building trying to find a way in. Lucky enough there was an open widow.

How does it look inside? – Jihyo

‘Horrible…spirits are everywhere and it smells weird.’ Jaejoong answered holding his nose.

Does Yunho smell it too? - Jihyo

‘Smell anything?’ Jaejoong asked Yunho

‘No’ Yunho replied

‘He doesn’t’ Jaejoong said

it seems like there are a lot of bad things happening there…try getting to the higher point.- Byul

Listening to Byul, Jaejoong is increasingly overpowered by a strange and fetid stench as he and Yunho climb higher toward the rooftop, where the main source of problem should be.

-Roof Top-

Through Jaejoong's perspective, the air is thick and heavy with the presence of bad spirits.

Go die…

‘Did you hear that?’ Jaejoong questioned looking around the rooftop, for the source of voice.

‘Hear what?’ Yunho asked, not hearing anything

Die…

‘there is it again’ Jaejoong said

‘What is it saying?’ Yunho asked

‘Die.’ Jaejoong repeated the words he heard.

‘The Spirit, must be hiding somewhere. Find it. – Byul

Jaejoong walked around the building searching, Yunho followed behind Jaejoong closely. Bending over the edge of the rooftop, Jaejoong still couldn’t find anything…that was until he felt a hard push on his back, sending him over the edge.

‘WHOA!’ Jaejoong shouted startled and shocked.

Yunho with quick reflexes caught Jaejoong’s arm in the nick of time.

‘Hold on.’ Yunho said

‘no !’ Jaejoong snapped

But Jaejoong’s eyes widened when he saw the black spirit emerging from behind Yunho

‘Is something behind me?’ Yunho asked

‘YES! Spirits. IT’s the Ouji Spirits’ Jaejoong said in panic.

I can’t leave until you die.

Jaejoong heard the spirit spoke as it surrounds Yunho and wraps itself around his arm

‘H-Hey your arm!’ Jaejoong said pointing with his spare hand

‘Stop moving.’ Yunho stated trying to pull Jaejoong up

 Blood trailed down on Jaejoong hands, his eyes widened.

‘Y-Yunho! Your arm’s bleeding’ Jaejoong stated in panic.

Yunho ignored the pain, he tried to pull Jaejoong up, but it felt as if something was stopping from doing so.

The talisman. Pass it to Yunho, tell him to attach the talisman on to the spirit. – Jihyo

In panic , using his spare hand, Jaejoong took out the talisman Jihyo had given him before he left the shop. He handed it to Yunho, who gave him a questioning look.

‘Jihyo said to attach it onto the spirit.’ Jaejoong explained ‘the spirit it’s wrapped around your arm!’

No hesitation, Yunho did as Jaejoong told him, he placed the talisman onto his arm. ‘What’s next?’ Yunho asked

You did it? - Jihyo

‘Neh. What now?’ Jaejoong asked

Perish. – Jihyo

‘What?’ Jaejoong questioned in panic

Say it! – Jihyo

‘PERISH!’ Jaejoong shouted shutting his eyes tightly

Not you, Joongie. Yunho has to say it! – Byul

Pabo….- Jihyo

Jaejoong wanted to curse at the two he was listening to but knew now was not the time.

‘Say ‘perish.’ ‘ Jaejoong told Yunho

‘Perish!’ Yunho said strongly

Yunho noticed the talisman on his arm glowed; the writing on the paper glowed brighter, as he felt strong gust of wind. Jaejoong opened his eyes feeling a strong pulling and sudden cold air, he watched as the glowing talisman in the spirit like a vacuum.

Yunho felt his body light and in control again, taking this chance he pulled Jaejoong up and to safety. When both were back safety on the rooftop, Jaejoong no longer saw the spirit, or the stench smell. Jaejoong looked at he talisman that was still on Yunho’s arm, on the black inked writing was a red marking of a circle.

Congratulations on your first catch! - Byul

‘I ALMOST DIED!’ Jaejoong shouted in anger

‘Is it over?’ Yunho asked

‘Yeah…’ Jaejoong said

Yunho held onto his injured arm, looking at Jaejoong.

‘Oh, don’t worry. I don’t care if you believe me or not.’ Jaejoong said

‘I never said I didn’t believe you.’ Yunho said, earning a look from Jaejoong ‘I’m not one to assume I have to see it to believe it’s real. I may not see the spirits that are always around you. As long as you say they’re real, maybe they are.’

Jaejoong felt slightly touched by Yunho’s words ‘Yunho…’ he said

‘Well, I can’t say they’re certainly real, because I’m not that native either.’ Yunho added, ruining the moment

‘WHAT YOU SAY?!’ Jaejoong snapped

‘well anyway. You should keep wearing those ears.’ Yunho said changing the subject.

‘huh?’ Jaejoong uttered

‘They did look foolishly amusing.’ Yunho added

‘I’m GOONA KICK YOUR !’ Jaejoong shouted in anger

-The Next Day-

-Park-

‘now now, Yunho. Make yourself at home, and have a drink’ Jihyo said smiling

Max went and poured some tea into Yunho’s glass.

Jihyo, Byul, Max, Jaejoong, Yunho and Dambi were all in the park. It was like a mini party for the two friend/emery for their successful mission. Yunho had his right arm bandaged due to the injury but he was, Jaejoong was in charge of cooking the food while Dambi and Byul were both talking to each other.

‘Thank you for your hospitality.’  Yunho said polity

‘Thanks so much’ Dambi said grateful ‘they said that thanks to you, everything’s back to normal.’

Byul smile ‘it’s nothing big at all. We’re glad to able to help.’ She said before grinning ‘Joongie and Yunho both make a great team.’

‘Neh I agree’ Jihyo and Dambi said smiling

‘But what was with the spirit? It sure did really want us to die.’ Jaejoong said ‘ are all spirits that bad as well?’

‘Good and bad are labels created by people. ‘ Byul said wisely ‘Nature doesn’t have such concepts.’

Jihyo smiled proud of Byul and patted her head ‘that’s correct. Take Byul here as a good example. Demon are common spirits that are assumed as bad, evil.’ She said before hugging Byul tightly ‘But just look at her~ she’s so cute and adorable.’

Byul grinned and chuckled, Dambi and Yunho were both surprised by the information they had been given.

‘You’re a Demon?’ Yunho questioned looking at Byul as if she was joking.

Byul smiled and nod proudly ‘Neh.~ A good and cute one!’ She beamed

Jaejoong rolled his eyes ‘Tsk how is that thing cute?’ he questioned himself.

Picking up a pebble, Byul threw it childishly at Jaejoong’s head ‘I AM CUTE!’ she pouted

Dambi giggled ‘Neh, Byul is really adorable’ she agreed

‘See! Merong!’ Byul her tongue out at Jaejoong

‘But it was thanks to you, that the spirit made it’s appearance or otherwise you both of never found it.’ Max said

‘what do you mean?’ Jaejoong asked confused

‘To the spirits, you looked very tasty’ Jihyo explained ‘that’s why I had you go with Yunho.’

‘Are you kidding me?! Why does it have to be like this?!’ Jaejoong cried unhappily, realizing he was nothing but bait

‘Yunho’s presence diminished its ability to find you, and he also has exorcising abilities.’ Byul explained with a smile ‘benefits of being a shrine-man’

‘But I couldn’t do anything.’ Yunho said

‘unconscious ability has nothing to do with conscious effort.’ Jihyo said, before giving Jaejoong a mocking smile ‘if Jaejoong was by himself he wouldn’t have gotten far. He was able to make it that far to the roof precisely because Yunho came with him. Not to mention he saved you from falling right?’

Jaejoong looked as if he wanted throw a tantrum…however, he couldn’t hide the fact that he was thankful of Yunho to have been there and watched his back. Without noticing it Jaejoong had been staring at Yunho.

‘You want it?’ Yunho asked holding his fork with a piece of meat on it

‘’I don’t need that! I made it, dammit!’ Jaejoong snapped

‘Such good friends’ Dambi said smiling

‘Don’t say that.’ Jaejoong said pouting, being cute.

‘YAH! What did I say about your behavior around other girls!!!’ Byul scolded, dragging Jaejoong far away from Dambi with her arms crossed in front of him.

‘Aww is Yullie Jealous?’ Max teased Byul grinning

Byul pouted ‘It’s his fault for it!’ she complained childishly pointing at Jaejoong.

‘Hey.’ Yunho called at Jaejoong, getting his attention ‘Seconds.’

‘YAH! WHAT AM I? A SLAVE?!’ Jaejoong shouted angrily ‘Your eating everything!’

‘Ah more meat! More meat!’ Byul said also wanting food

‘YAH! YOU’RE THE FATTEST ONE HERE! EATTING EVERYTHING LIKE A BLACK HOLE!’ Jaejoong shouted at her

‘Their Yummy~ Make more’ Byul said grinning ignoring Jaejoong.

‘ARGH! ALRIGHT! Just hold your horses.’ Jaejoong groaned and went to make more meat

Jihyo while drinking quietly watched the scene with a smile.  

She was pleased with the new interesting people she had meet…

She was glad that wonderful relations were forming...

Most of all…

She was happy, that Byul was in the happier glow.
