- Jaejoong Pov-

'Thank you! Please have a good night!' I bid the last couple of customers' farewell

'Closing up now?' questioned a voice

I groan annoyed by the voice of the person I found myself calling a friend yet enemy at the same time.

'Honestly I don't see why your always here at closing time' I stated

'I could always leave and let you close the café by yourself' Yunho stated with no expression yet mocking

I grew a vein 'Help me put the chairs up and mop the floor you bastard!' I growled

'It that how you ask a friend for help?' Yunho mocked 'I should just let you sleep outside today.'

'YOU DEMON!' I insulted 'Let's get this over with, so we can get home and have dinner!'

2 years had gone passed...time sure did went by quick.

After graduating I've manage to find a job in a small local café, own by an elderly couple. During my time working for them, they've grown fond of me and allowed me to manage the café...of course they knew of Yunho help cleaning every night, they had offered him to work, but Yunho declined since he now takes over his family shrine.

'What's for dinner today?' Yunho asked while we walked home

'Food is only thing on your mind isn't it?' I stated with an annoyed brow twitching 'Well, it's going to be Kimchi stew with braised Pork'

Somewhere along the way, I started living with Yunho...I didn't know why honestly, considering that I did hated his guts and we always got at each other's throat...but I knew that he and Dambi were probably the only friends I got weather I like to admit it or not.

'Was it busy at the shrine today?' I asked

Yunho nod 'Yeah, for prayers and pear blossoms' he answered 'how's the café?

'Same as usual we're always packed and we got a couple cake orders' I said, mentally check listing in my head

'Tomorrow I won't be coming by to the café at night' Yunho said

I gave him a questioning look 'Sure...don't overwork yourself' I stated 'it's hard enough what I'm doing, I don't want to add looking after your sick as well'

'The shrine is not open tomorrow and the day after' Yunho said 'there's a friend I need to accompany tomorrow'

I was surprised, it wasn't often that Yunho would close the shrine...not to mention making that 2 days in a row and accompanying a friend...the only other person I knew that Yunho hang out with is Dambi.

'ah accompanying Dambi?' I guested

'No another close friend of mine.' he stated

I smirked 'oh...a girlfriend?' I teased 'it's about time'

'your one to speak, your also single.' he remarked with a smirk

I shot him a glare and stomp angrily ahead

-Wish Shop-

-Byul Pov-

'honestly thank you heaps Dambi!' Max thanked her

Dambi laughed 'it's not a problem at all! I really enjoy teaching Byul how to cook' she beamed 'plus I get to have more bonding time with her!'

I smiled 'really thanks though Dambi, I feel like I can finally be a decent house wife' I joked

Days passed than months...it's already been 2 years...without Jaejoong. I won't lie even till now I often feel depress that his not beside me, but I had gotten better at coping with it and showing everyone that I'm doing better.

Of course Max, the twins and Jihyo are always trying to keep me busy...so I don't think of Jaejoong too much. Dambi always try to visit every day and each day she would teach me basic things to cook. Yunho would also often drops by if the shrine is quiet and he would update me how Jaejoong is doing.

There are times, when Yunho, Dambi and Max would go out of their way and wish Jihyo to allow them to take me out of the shop for a couple of hours.

I'm really thankful of them.

-Jihyo Pov-

I sat outside on the veranda, enjoying the cookies that Dambi and Byul had both worked on. Often I would glance back into the kitchen and felt really happy to see that Byul was smiling more genuinely.

'So what the plan for Byul's birthday?' Max asked me, joining me outside '2 more days. Time really goes by'

I smile ' Yunho had already wish to take Byul out for shopping tomorrow for a few hours' I said 'shall we get the decorations, food and a present?'

Max grinned proudly 'of course I've already got mine' he boasted 'and this year mine will be the best again~'

I gave him a deadpanned look 'you cheated. You've forgotten her birthday on the day, so you went and took stalking pictures of Jaejoong while his working the cafe' I stated 'Not to mention you also brought Yunho into it and begged him to take some picture of Jaejoong when his sleeping. Then you printed them out and gave them to her'

'Yeah! Cheater! Cheater' the twins pouted angrily

Max gasped faking he was wounded the mean words of mine and the twin 'why I never! I never knew you guys can become that jealous of moi!' he dramatically cried

Me and the twin gave him a look that said he was being stupid, before dismissing and ignoring him completely

'Junsu and Micky will tidy everything up!' the twins beamed quietly so Byul doesn't hear 'We'll find the tables and chairs from the basement too!'

I laughed 'sounds like we got everything planned out.' I said happily ' let's do that.'

'YAH DON'T IGNORE ME!' Max shouted

-The Next Day-

-Jaejoong Pov-

I smiled at the customers as they leave, cleaning up the plates and cups, so far the day had been slow compared to yesterday

Ring Ring Ring

'Hello, This is Kwang Café, how can I help you?' I answered the phone

Ah! I would like to order a cake please -???

I pulled out my notepad 'Sure thing, that kind of cake would you like?' I asked

What's your bestseller? -???

I thought for a moment before telling him our bestseller cake

Yeah that sounds good I'll get that one, thanks. I need it for about...7 people -???

It's a birthday cake, so just write happy birthday on top and that's about it. -???

I wrote everything down 'sure thing, I'll take your name sir and time you'd pick the cake up?' I said

Yea, it's Max, I'll have someone else come in to pick up the cake though. And pick up time...I'd say around early morning. -???

MAX YOUR CHEATING AGAIN!!!!!! - ???

I flinched hearing multiple of shout voices

'not a problem, I'll have that ready for you tomorrow morning' I said

GREAT! Thanks Jaejoong! BYE! -???

My eyes widen in surprised...how did this person knew my name when I didn't mention it? Maybe he was a regular customer...but if he is...I don't recall having a regular name Max...

I shook my head 'I'm over thinking things ' I thought to myself

But...Those voices and name sounds really familiar

'Jaejoong' Mrs Kwang, one of the owner of this cafe called me

'Yes?' I answered with a smile 'is there anything I could help you with?'

She smiled 'darling, I need you to do a quick run to the market for me' she said

'of course! Give me the list and I'll get them' I said, untying my apron

She gave me the list and I headed out

-3rd POV -

Yunho and Dambi had decided to take Byul out to the markets to spoil her....to really really spoil her.

Byul smiled nervously 'guys honestly....' she said trailing off 'this is too much...'

They've already been at the market for 2 hours, and endlessly Dambi had been showing different clothes, shoes and bag to Byul asking her if she'd like this or that. She thought Yunho would be able to help her out... but he was another case, he often wondered around and come back to Byul with arm full of random items he thought would be suitable for Byul.

'it's not often we get to take you out Byul!' Dambi stated 'You deserve at lease this much!'

Yunho nod agreeing with another arm full of random things, making Byul eyes twitched

-Jaejoong-

The amount of people that were at the market surprised Jaejoong, he had managed buy everything off the list but his next struggle was to get out of the crowd... he continuously apologises while pushing his way through.

'Jaejoong Oppa?' a voice called his name, startling him

Turning around 'Dambi!' he said surprised and chuckled 'sorry I was startled and surprised to see you!'

Dambi smiled widely laughing 'it's good to bump into you Jaejoong Oppa, off work today?' she asked

Jaejoong shook his head 'no, the owner wanted me to get a few things for her, I'm heading back now' he said showing her the bags he carried

Dambi smiled nodding in understand 'well, you better get going then or you'll get in trouble!' She said turned to leave

'Wait, Dambi' Jaejoong called

Dambi felt nervous...she wanted to leave quickly so that Jaejoong wouldn't happen to catch her with Yunho and Byul...Gods know what would happen if he saw Byul...A small part of Dambi did wished for it, but she knew things would get very complicated.

'y-yeah Jaejoong Oppa?' she replied with a nervous smile

'Do you want me to stay with you, till you find your friends?' Jaejoong offered nicely 'it's awfully crowded and it might be dangerous'

Dambi shook her head quickly 'No! no it's alright! I know where they are...it's just I saw you and thought I came to say hi to you!' she told a little white lie

Honestly she was just as surprised to have seen Jaejoong right in front of her while she was wondering around to find more things for Byul.

Jaejoong had a teasing grin 'Dambi your looking nervous...are you perhaps on a date with a special someone?' he teased

Dambi broke out in nervous laughter...how in the world she is going to get out of this situation

Jaejoong smiled 'just teasing, go ahead your friends must be waiting. I'll see you again sometimes' he said

Dambi mentally let out a relieved sigh and smiled happily at Jaejoong waving bye

'DAMBI?!' Two loud voices shouted for her name

'Isn't that Yunho's voice' Jaejoong wondered loudly which Dambi heard

Dambi start to panic

'DAMBI~' this voice was a girl

Jaejoong eyes searched the crowd to find the owners of the voice

'B-Bye Jaejoong!' Dambi said quickly and tried to find the others quick before Jaejoong could see them

'wait Dambi shouldn't you wait he—'Jaejoong cut off to see Dambi was gone

He eyes search the crowd again, he caught sight of two people he knew Dambi and Yunho...but the 3rd person...

I felt everything around me stopped...I continued to stare at the 3rd girl that was standing with Yunho and Dambi.

She wasn't beautiful like a model or idol, but she still made me held my breath by the way she smiles and her red eye shown with curiosity by whatever Dambi was telling her.

Why did I felt so attracted to this girl, who just caught my eye...

'Is this love at first sight?' I wondered to myself but mentally slap myself as it sounded really stupid and cliché

And yet... I find my mind and eyes was set on her, watching as she was interacting with Yunho and Dambi...I couldn't help but to feel slightly jealous

'Why is Yunho with her' my mind questioned angrily

my body start to take control on its own and I was try to make my way towards them...towards her.

Ring ring ring

I came to a complete stop, my phone brought me out of the strange trace I was in, I look down at my phone to see the owner was calling me

'Mrs Kwang! Sorry I'm trying to make my way back now.' I answered the call

While answering my phone, I turn to look back where the girl and the others were, but they were gone

There was a dishearten feeling dwelling inside...

-Café-

'Jaejoong!' the Kwang Couple beamed happily

I smiled 'I'm back! And what's happening? You both seem very happy' I said

'WE'RE BOTH OFFICALLY GRANDPARENTS!!!!' They both shouted happily, both running to me and hugging me happily

I laughed, for two elderly people they sure did have a lot of energy and strength

'Congratulations! Have you found out if it's going to be a boy or girl?' I asked as I packed everything away

the two elderly sat on the seat watching me putting things away while chattered away every details they knew

'how wonderful for them to have a great family' I thought to myself feeling happy for the elderly yet there was a small part of me what felt loneliness for myself

'So that's why starting tomorrow we're closing the shop for 2 weeks to go stay with the family!' they beamed at the end

I blinked a couple of times before it hits me 'EH???' I cried surprised

'Yes, that's right!' Me Kwang beamed 'we're closing the café for 2 weeks! Don't worry Jaejoong, I already explained it to all of our regulars and they understand.'

'B-But...the cake orders?' I asked

'We actually don't have any except for one...' Mrs Kwang said and wondered 'it was already late, so I couldn't bring myself to call them to cancel. So you can use the kitchen to bake the cake and deliver it to them.'

Both of the elders smiled proudly at me, making me sigh.... honestly what kind of situation am I in...

'Hey Jaejoong...' Mr Kwang called me, getting my attention 'Also You deserve a break. I'll make this two week your annual leave, so enjoy yourself'

'Yes darling since you've started working here, things around here has been a lot livelier and you always work to the bone.' Mrs Kwang added with a smile 'and we've seen you overworking yourself'

They both were like my grandparents who looked after me well and taught me a lot of things

'Thank You Mr Mrs Kwang.' I said 'You guys should head home to pack, I'll finish up everything here and you can count on me with the cake tomorrow'

-That Night-

-Yunho POV-

Went home after walking Dambi home, she had told her surprised bump into Jaejoong today at the market, but we aren't sure if he had seen us or not...

I let out a sigh 'guess I have to find out 'I thought to myself as I entered the shrine

Only I was surprised that the lights were on and Jaejoong was in the kitchen cooking

'Your home early' I stated

'Yeah the Bosses closed the shop early because they were really excited to go and meet their family' Jaejoong explained 'The café is gonna close for 2 weeks'

my eyes widen because I was surprised 'ah what will be your plans then?' I asked

'well from the sudden notice honestly I don't know. I guess I'll be helping you out with shrine work for 2 weeks' he said

'Sure' I said with a nod 'but you should also make plans as well, to relax'

'yeah...I'll think about it' he said

Maybe he didn't see us after all...so I felt relieved.

I help him set up the dinner table for the food

-While Eating-

'I ran into Dambi today at the market today' Jaejoong suddenly said 'I saw you as well along with another girl'

I was close to choking onto my food but luckily I manage to keep calm

'hm Me and Dambi showed her around, she doesn't get to go out much' I said 'Did Mrs Kwang made you do errands for her at the markets?'

Jaejoong nod, I would of though so...why else he would be at the market so suddenly...but honestly this must really be fate.

'That other girl you guys were with...who was she?' Jaejoong asked 'Are you meeting with her again tomorrow?'

'oh? Why do you ask?' I retorted

Jaejoong was in deep thought 'honestly...I really don't know, but I'm really curious about her and can't get her off my mind' he said honestly 'remember how I always told you that there's always this empty feeling inside'

'I just felt...at that moment when I saw her I felt completed. Like I wasn't lost.'

'I know I sound crazy....or even stupid...but I just do.'

'I really want to see her again.' He ended looking at with a hopeful look

I let out a sigh 'i can't help you...it's not my place to.' I said

A disheartened look fell on Jaejoong 'I see...' he said in understanding

Of course I felt bad and really would have been happy to help him out...if only the situation wasn't complicated

'but if you really feel that way, maybe fate with bring you guys together.' I said hopefully to encourage him

my words seem to surprised him 'Fate...' he mumbled and smile 'yeah maybe. Sorry for asking you ridiculous thing of you out of nowhere'

'Don't you always?' I mocked with a smirk and continued to eat

Jaejoong growled 'Yah! You! I'll starve you! You bastard!' he fumed

- Jaejoong Pov -

To say my morning was good would be a lie...I was convincing Yunho to take me along where ever he was going today, seeing that there might be a chance for me to see 'Her' again...but the bastard somehow sneaked away and reject my calls.

I let out a sigh 'well...I guess after delivering this cake, I'll figure something out to do...' I said to myself

While the cake was baking, I took out my phone to search up the address. The guy didn't leave an address but the number he called by was a home number, so it was easy to check where the address of the number might be.

'hm? What's this?' I wondered to myself

I had tried to view what the house would look like on live map...but it only showed me an empty field...

'Maybe the map isn't updated...' I told myself 'I'll just get there and see for myself.'

-3rd Person Pov-

-Wish Shop-

Byul laughed as she was watching the twins getting tangled with the birthday sign and Jihyo had actually tried to cook, which needed up in the kitchen being a danger smoke zone....it was a disaster morning.

Max stood beside Byul, shaking his head in defeat

'Please Yunho Please Dambi...Please come now!' Max prayed in his head before looking at Byul 'And you, go get dressed, you're not supposed to see all this.... this disaster'

Byul continued to laugh while doing as told by Max.

'I can't count on these people! Where's Jaejoong when you need him 'Max mumbled to himself

'We'll be expecting a guest today...' Jihyo suddenly said with smile

I looked at her 'really?' I questioned 'but...--'

Knock Knock

Everyone went quiet, looking at each other.

-Jaejoong-

'This should be it...' Jaejoong spoke to himself looking at the GPS on his phone

He was standing in front of the entrance door of the location...and he couldn't help but to feel familiar with it. Giving a couple of knocks, the door was opened and he was greeted 2 guys who look very similar to each other almost like twins.

Jaejoong smiled 'Hi!' he greeted 'I'm from Kwang Café'

However, the 2 guys could only stare at him in shock

'um...You guys did order a cake from Kwang Café Right?' Jaejoong asked, starting to feel unsure from the lack of response

The guys looked at each other before smiling widely 'CUSTOMER!' they both shouted, startling Jaejoong

Before Jaejoong knew it, he was being dragged inside.

'W-Wait! H-Hey!' Jaejoong exclaimed surprised and was struggling form their hold

he was then forced to be seated and opposite form him was sat a lady...a lady who seemed in her mid 30s at most and there was another guy who stood behind her

'Oh...yeah, I ordered the cake....' The guy who stood behind said 'but why....'

'U-um ah, The café is actually closed today...so I was told to deliver this cake...' Jaejoong explain

The guy nod in understanding before taking the cake from Jaejoong and handed him the money 'Keep the change.' The guy said

'Thanks....' Jaejoong said things still processing in his head

Jaejoong couldn't help but to let his eyes wonder around the household his was in.... everything felt familiar...as if he had been here before, yet he knew that he hasn't

'My name is Jihyo, this is Max and those two are Junsu and Micky' The lady introduced with a smile

'a-ah...right! I'm Jaejoong. Kim Jaejoong.' He said bow his head in respect before observing some more of the house 'W-What do you guys do here.....if you don't mind me asking..'

'This is A Wish Shop.' Jihyo stated

Jaejoong looked at her amused 'wishing shop?' he questioned 'that's interesting....'

The way Jaejoong spoke it wasn't mocking, rather he was curious and intrigued.

'Completely Different.' The Twins stated suddenly 'Completely different from the first time.'

Jaejoong gave the twins a questioning

'In exchange. I must charge a price, something that matches.' Jihyo explained 'To grant your wish'

'Nothing greater can be gained. Nothing greater can be lost.' Jaejoong continued 'the perfect value...equal...and balanced. Or else harm will come.'

Jaejoong's statement surprised max and the twins, it was the same statement Jihyo had told him...the very first time he had come into the shop.

'Memories that had become a part of his nature' Jihyo thought with a pleased smile

Jihyo nod 'yes, correct.' She stated 'is there a wish, you wish to be granted?'

Jaejoong was deep in thought, thinking what could he probably wish for

'thank you....but nothing is coming to mind right now....' he trailed

But his mind wondered to the girl who was a friend of Yunho and Dambi

'I would really like to meet her again' Jaejoong thought to himself, though realizing how creepy he would sound, his shook away the thought of it.

'There is no need to rush.' Jihyo said, breaking Jaejoong's thought 'You are welcome anytime to return'

Jaejoong gave Jihyo a thankful look 'this may sound strange but...I can't help to feel that I've been here before....' he started and looked at Jihyo 'it feels like I've been here but yet I have no memories of it.'

Jaejoong continued to think hard, trying to dig deeply into his memories...

'Unni! Do we have a customer?' A new voice interrupted, his thoughts

The voice sent shivers up Jaejoong's spine...the door close to the room they sat in open...A Girl Who was seem to be the same age as Jaejoong came out. At the moment when his eyes connected with the girl, he couldn't help but to feel strange overwhelming feelings inside of him, they were sad yet happy and warmth.

Byul who had come out, her eyes set on to the customer...who only made her fell speechless. Many questions piled up in her mind, many whys and hows...but the most that she felt was happiness. She had indeed missed him an awful lot...since the day Jaejoong had lost his memories, she had only gotten to see Jaejoong in pictures.

Jihyo, Max and the twins who are watching silently at the scene that unfolded before them, they were curious of how the scene would play out.

Byul smiled 'I'm Byul, I'm Jihyo's assistant' she greeted happily 'is there a wish, you would like to be granted?"

No words could come out of Jaejoong's mouth, all he could do was stare at Byul, as if he was love stuck...which he could actually be...

Feeling flushed, pink hues grew on Jaejoong face 'u-um...i-I' he couldn't help but stutter 'I-I'm Jaejoong!'

Byul watched Jaejoong who was a stuttering mess, this only made her smile more of the cuteness Jaejoong was displaying. She had urges to bear hug him and not letting go, but she knew of how strange it would be to do that to someone who has no idea who you were.

Byul chuckled 'not need to rush, take your time...' she said trying to calm Jaejoong down 'would you like some tea and snacks? Or if you like you can come back---'

'I'D LIKE TEA!' Jaejoong suddenly shouted, startling everyone

Jaejoong's face at this point turned completely red in embarrassment, when Byul had given him choice between Tea or leaving... his mind went frantic at the thought of leaving...which caused him to suddenly outburst his answer.

He didn't want to leave anytime soon...not when he had meet her again.

'S-Sorry!' Jaejoong cried bowing his head in embarrassment

Max burst out laughing 'this is the first time I've seen anyone whose so desperate for tea' he laughed, which didn't help Jaejoong's embarrassment

Jaejoong glared at Max out of embarrassment 'i-it's not like that!' he protested

Jaejoong stood up following Byul to the kitchen 'Would you like some help?' he offered, and praying in his mind Byul would accept 'I can make snacks if you like.'

'That'd be great. You work in a café right?' Byul asked with a smile 'I'd really like to eat tasty things you make'

Jaejoong felt he was going to pass out...from the happy feeling he felt in his chest

'I'll make anything you like!' he exclaimed

'SWISS ROLL!!!' Max shouted

'COOKIES!!' The twin shouted together

'RICECAKE!' Jihyo beamed

Jaejoong felt his eyes twitching in annoyance 'I didn't ask you lot!' he remarked 'Act more your age damn it!'

Suddenly Jaejoong felt a sharp pain going through his head, it hurt yet, somewhere at the back of his mind...he knew he had complained, scolded and argued many times with these people he had just meet.

'Jaejoong? Jaejoong are you alright?' Byul asked worryingly patting Jaejoong's shoulder lightly

'Hmm? Y-Yeah' he said with small smile 'My head just hurt a little...but it's gone now.'

Byul continued to look at him with a worried look, she knew that something must have triggered a small part of Jaejoong memory, that's why he had a head ache. Jaejoong who looked at Byul's worried expression, felt a warm fuzzy feeling in his chest...he liked the feeling of being worried for by Byul.

Jaejoong gave her a reassuring smile 'I'll bake a cake, how does that sound?' he asked which made everyone cheer happily, but then remembered the cake he had brought along with him 'oh yeah, whose birthday is it today? If you don't mind me asking....'

'ITS BYUL BIRTHDAY~' the twins both sang 'happy birthday Byul!'

Jaejoong looked at Byul surprised 'H-Happy Birthday!' he quickly said before feeling horrified 'Sorry! I must be intruding! I-I'll leave!'

Chuckling at Jaejoong's over worrying face, Byul held onto Jaejoong's arm 'it'll be great if you stayed, as a gift maybe you can cook for us tonight for dinner?' she asked

Jaejoong's face exploded in pink 'S-sure! I'll make anything you like!' he said quickly and happily

'thank you' Byul thanked feeling happy 'two more of my friends will be joining us...'

'Ah Yunho and Dambi right?' Jaejoong asked smiling, but then panicked since it must of sound creepy that he knew 'I-I'm not a creep or anything! I-I just happen to saw them hang with you once while I was running an errand'

'They are also my friends as well!'

'well...I don't know about Yunho though... he can be a real jerk sometimes'

Byul laughed at Jaejoong's rumbling 'You're really adorable Joongie.' Byul said with a smile 'it's alright, I don't think you're a creep or anything. It must be fate.'

'Fate...' Jaejoong whispered with a smile 'yeah'

-Yunho Pov-

To say me and Dambi were both shock was an understatement...We were both speechless when we arrived at the wish shop, to see Jaejoong was there help cooking. Jaejoong greeted us when he saw us came in, the way he greeted was as if it was normal...but what I noticed was the way he was smiling...

It seemed more whole and genuine...there was genuine happiness

Jaejoong returned back to cooking with the twins helping him, Max and Jihyo had both gone to buy more snacks and some drinks. So Byul took this opportunity to explain everything to me and Dambi outside on the veranda, where Jaejoong wouldn't be able to hear us.

'this must really be fate! You both truly are meant to be with each other!' Dambi stated with happiness and tearing up 'I am so happy! The 4 of us can hang together now...'

Byul gave Dambi a comforting hug that Dambi gladly returned

I smiled and pat Byul's head 'I'm glad...2 years had been long' I said, looking at Jaejoong then back at Byul 'You both may have a chance of finding that happiness'

I let out a chuckle, when I caught Jaejoong glaring at my direction upon seeing me patting Byul's head

'Even though you both were far from each other...there were still fragments of one another inside of you both' I stated 'this is my first time in 2 years to see him genuinely happy.'

'Food's Done!' Jaejoong called out loudly

Quickly the twins pulled out a table onto the veranda and got everything set up on the table, just in time as Jihyo and Max returned from their shopping trip with many bags in hand. Dinner was livelier than usual, maybe because it was Byul's birthday...but I knew it was because of someone who had finally found his way back to where he belonged.

'Everything is soooo GOOD!' Byul cried happily with full of food, making everyone laughed

Jaejoong laughed but took a tissue and cleaned some of the mess on Byul's face 'There's plenty so slow down' he said with a smile 'don't be so greedy'

Byul pouted 'it's my birthday! I should be spoiled!' she whined 'I deserve to be spoiled'

Jaejoong shook his head in disbelief with an amused smile 'your bottomless stomach is really something' he joked 'Like a black hole really'

Byul punched Jaejoong on the arm jokingly 'I am not fat! Jaejoong is being mean!' she fake cried

Dambi laughed 'Aww your both so cute!' she beamed 'I ship you both so much!!!'

Hearing this made Jaejoong flustered turning his whole face pink 'w-wha?...D-Dambi!' he cried in embarrassment, hiding his face

'Jeez Man up!' Max stated with a teasing grin 'Byul can't be with a man with no back bone!'

'Yeah!' the twins agreed 'Man up!'

Jaejoong's pink face turned red in anger 'YAH! You three just be quiet and eat!' he rebuked

'Jaejoong we need more drinks!' Jihyo sang loudly a little tipsy

Jaejoong's eyes twitched 'You've had enough!' he scolded and let out a sigh 'How is it possible they behave so childish....'

'Jaejoong! Jaejoong! Can I have more meat?' Byul asked in a childlike manner

Jaejoong blush like a love-struck idiot...which he is

'S-Sure! I'll make some more!' he said quickly going into the kitchen

I shook my head 'his totally whipped' I stated amused

Dambi giggled 'aww his like a love-struck puppy' she said

That's even more down grading...but yes that is true

-Jaejoong Pov-

It was almost midnight, Jihyo, Max, Junsu and Micky were completely wasted from drinking too much...I was glad they were able to crawl back into their room before knocking out, otherwise it would have been more work for me.

'Aw I'll take my leave now, since it's really late' Dambi said with a disappointed pout

Byul laughed giving Dambi a bear hug 'I'll see you again soon! thank you so much for being here on my birthday' she said

'I would never miss it!' Dambi declared proudly making everyone laughed

'We will walk you home' Yunho said 'it's too late to be walking alone'

I agreed with Yunho, yet at the same time...I wanted to stayed with Byul.

The thought of leaving, it bothered me...It felt as if a part of me was going to be taken away

'I'll walk you guys out!' Byul said happily 'thank you so much for coming today!'

'Like Dambi said, we wouldn't miss it' Yunho said with a smile and gave Byul a hug

I couldn't help but to feel a tag of jealousy and annoyance at Yunho, for displaying affection towards Byul. It was really rare to see him so open and affectionate.

'You guys head off first...I want to talk to Byul for a bit' I said

Yunho, Dambi and Byul gave each other a look...again I felt jealousy...they seemed so close to each other...I felt as if I was a stranger.

Yunho nod 'sure, be quick, it's dangerous late' he said before he and Dambi head out first

I turn to Byul, who was looking at me with that smile, that was infectious

'thank you for letting me stay...even though we just met today...' I said with a smile 'I felt as if I was intruding'

it didn't felt like that though.

I felt as if this was how my everyday life should be...with these childish people...with Byul, by her side.

Byul shook her head 'Hey, I told you, it's nothing you should worry about' she assured 'I asked you to stay. I asked you to cook for everyone...so I should be thankful'

I looked down at the ground with a constant smile...I really wish to stay here...to be by her side....

Yet I don't even know why I'm having these feelings for someone I barely knew.

'U-um if it's not absurd to ask...' I said looking away from Byul 'I-I would really like to come back here...'

'of course' Byul said with no hesitation 'you're welcome to come back anytime; after all you've came to us because there's a wish you want to be granted.'

That wasn't it.

I shook my head 'n-not for that!' I disagreed

It has nothing to do with wishes...

'I would like to come and help around the shop' I said quickly 'i-I don't need to get paid....'

It felt like where I suppose to be...

'it's just when I'm here...it feels right...'

'I know it sounds strange...but I feel really at ease here...'

I feel whole...alive...

'so if it's alright...I would really like to come here every day to...'

'To help.' I finished...half-truth but not completely

I brought courage to look at Byul, who seemed surprised. I watched nervously, hoping and praying that I would get a good reaction from her...anything to confirm, that it was alright for me to come here...to be here.

'If it's not a bother...' She started before a beautiful smile came onto her face 'we would really be happy.'

I let out the breath that I never knew I held in, a pleased smile broke on my face and acting on my feelings...I pulled Byul into a hug.

Yet then and there, I felt another strike of pain shoot through my head, but ignore it and held it in...because I felt happier than I did felt the pain.

I had felt this warmth before, I've felt this hug before...somewhere deep in my mind, in my memories...I've held this girl before.

'Thank you!' I said loudly, feeling pure bliss

Byul chuckled and returned my hug 'I should be thankful' she said and looked at me while still in my hug 'But you should go quickly or Yunho leaves you behind.'

I let go of her slowly, not wanting to let go at all in fact

I nod 'Good night' I beamed 'I'll see you tomorrow'

She laughed 'Good night Joogie Oppa, be safe 'she said before closing the door

I didn't held it in as I jumped and cheered happily mentally

I get to see her again.

-The Next Day-

-Jihyo Pov-

It was no surprise to see Jaejoong at the door in the early morning, looking eager and excited. He didn't waste time to greet Byul, who was in the kitchen trying to make pancakes. I watched in delight at the scene before me, Jaejoong was teaching Byul how to make pancakes.

'we're actually gonna get something decent to eat...and I bet his gonna come every day' Max commented blankly before dancing happily 'YESSSSS!'

Byul shot a glare at Max but went back to cooking with more determination, Jaejoong could only laugh at Byul's cuteness while taking open opportunities get close to her. If Byul was hesitating Jaejoong would encourage her, if she was struggling he would guild her and when she did well he would praise her.

'Feelings don't change even when forgotten' I thought with a smile 'their bond is strong

-While Eating -

'What are your plans for today?' Jaejoong asked Byul while eating

'hmm...wait for customers and doing house chores' Byul answered thinking of what to do

'Do you often get customers?' he asked

'depends really sometimes people stumble here not knowing what they want' Max replied 'Not everyone can see the shop, only ones with strong desires for a wish could.'

Jaejoong nod in understanding 'I see...' he said deep in thought 'well if it's not busy, w-would you like to hang out?'

Everyone at the table went quiet watching Byul

Byul gave a sad smile 'unfortunately I can't freely leave this' she explained 'I'm bonded to this shop and the price to leave it vary'

'what did Yunho and Dambi had to pay?' Jaejoong asked curiously

'the price raises when the same wish is granted numerous time...' i stated ''if you wish for Byul to leave this shop...the cost starts from a limb'

Jaejoong eyes widen in horror, he was surprised by the cost and loss it would take...I could also see disappointment and sadness in his eyes

'would paying years of life count?' Jaejoong's question shocking everyone

I nod 'yes.' I agreed

'Don't' Byul stated firmly looking at Jaejoong straight in the eye 'I won't be happy, if you do that...I rather you leave'

Jaejoong went silent, more emotions dwelled inside of him...hurt and helplessness but gave a sad smile

'How mean, I was only asking' he said trying sound as if he was joking 'I'll make some more pancakes'

I watched Jaejoong leave to the kitchen

'That was rather harsh don't you think Byul?' Max whispered to me 'I'm feeling bad for him'

i let out a sigh 'his going to do something stupid that his going to regret if I didn't' i explained

'well at lease sugar coat it or something' Max said 'his sulking in the kitchen and it's depressing to watch'

I did feel bad for being harsh but he has to know not to do reckless things...but he did also deserve an apology

'Jaejoong' I called behind him

he turned to look at me 'hm?" he responded

'I really appreciate your kindness...Sorry for saying harsh things' I apologized

Jaejoong quickly waved his hand in front of him in panic 'N-No no no, don't apologize!' he said in panic 'I was thinking recklessly!'

I smiled 'I'm happy as things are.' I said truthfully

Jaejoong smile 'then I'll respect that and won't do anything to worry you.' He said, turning back to making more pancakes 'If you need anything at all...just let me know'

I grinned as I back hugged Jaejoong tightly

'W-Whoa!' Jaejoong cried startled 'B-Byul!'

I continued to hug him, I knew he must be blushing...I really wish to stay like this with him forever.

2 weeks had already gone by and Jaejoong had been coming to the wish shop to help around which made me feel bad since now that his memories were erased, he was more of a customer then a worker...but he wouldn't give in when I tell him not to help...

But it surprised everyone how he was getting use to things around the shop, sometimes it seems small memories of the work and chores that he does at the shop were coming back to him...he knew where things were without asking anyone, he often cooks mentioning everyone's favourite without anyone telling and the way he would interact with everyone, saying things that the old Jaejoong would say.

He also kept me company every day, he was still the same Jaejoong I knew but at the same time it felt different...maybe because his memories are still a blur to him. Each day he came, he would bring something new whether it be food to share with everyone or random objects to show me...he was trying hard to to make our time together enjoyable.

I felt guilty because his not gaining anything from doing all of this. Yunho had been telling me not to mind it because Jaejoong is actually happier how things are right now, Dambi had also agreed...

'Byul lets have tea together on the veranda, the weather is really nice today' Jaejoong beamed

'Yes that sounds wonderful!' Jihyo agreed 'Bring out the soju while you're at it!'

Jaejoong eyes twitched 'Your insane! It's day light and your planning to get drunk?!' he stated 'and I was asking Byul not you!'

'Tsk Tsk you really think you could get with OUR precious Byul with that kind of bi-polar behaviour and treating the US the ones that she loves like that?' Max mocked with a teasing smirk 'I won't approve of you two dating!'

Hearing Max, Jaejoong's face immediately turned pink, I knew he must have felt embarrassed and annoyed at the same time.

'Not like I need your approval or anything, you're not her dad' Jaejoong said rolling his eyes and placed the tray of tea and snacks down on the veranda

'BUT~ I am her loveable big brother!' Max countered childishly 'so I DO have a say in it!'

'Max is an embarrassment...' Micky stated giving Max a dumb look

Junsu nod agreeing 'Embarrassment' he agreed

'YAH! YOU TWO BE QUIET!' Max snapped, angry that the twins didn't back him up

Jaejoong shook his head at the three and sat next to me with the smile that made me love him so much.

'Here, try the cake. I've made a new recipe today' he said happy, holding the piece of cake close to my mouth

I ate the cake that Jaejoong was feeding and let out a happy squeal, showing that I loved the cake

Jaejoong chuckled proud of himself and amused with my reaction 'that good huh?' he asked

I nodded quickly, before also feeding him some cake which he bashfully ate

'Already up to the feeding each other stage, I see' Jihyo teased with a wide grin 'your both moving awfully quick'

'T-There's nothing w-wrong with feeding each other food!' Jaejoong defended, but it was his loss for stuttering and blushing 'go have your tea somewhere else!'

'There is no way I would leave my lovable Byul alone with you' Jihyo stated giving Jaejoong a blank face

'WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN?!" Jaejoong snapped shooting a quick glare at Jihyo

I couldn't help but to laugh at the situation, Jihyo and Max really loved to mess around with Jaejoong and like old times he was still very entertaining.

'Joongie Oppa your working tomorrow at the café right?' I asked while drinking some tea

'Yeah, Mr and MRs Kwang are coming back tomorrow' he answered 'so I'll probably come over really early to make breakfast before heading off and when I finish work I'll be back to make dinner.'

-3rd Person Pov-

Small part of Byul felt worried and sad...worried for Jaejoong's health and well-being, and sad because he was doing an awful lot for the shop

'Jaejoong Oppa don't have to, you'll be too tired' Byul said 'you shouldn't overwork yourself.'

Jaejoong smile feeling happy that Byul was worried for him

'I want to.' He said simply with a small smile 'and if things get too much for me to handle, I'll ask them to cut down my hours.'

It baffled Byul...why was Jaejoong going out of his way...why was he doing so much...for strangers

It irked her, that Jaejoong was too selfless.

'Jaejoong, why do you act and behave the way you do to us?' Byul asked 'To people who you only known for 2 weeks...don't you think that is much?'

Byul's question and statement caught Jaejoong by surprise. Jihyo, Max and the twins quietly watched, they knew this was a situation between Byul and Jaejoong...they will not interrupt...they will not interfere.

'You go out of your way to do things for others' Byul continued 'you shouldn't be too generous'

'Our only connection is because of Yunho and Dambi...even then it's not a good reason for you to go out of your way for strangers.'

'Fate has brought you to our shop as our customer...to grant you, your wish.'

Unintentionally Byul words stung Jaejoong, word by word of hers were cutting deep inside of him...it confused him how just minutes ago everything was going so good suddenly took it's turn around. But what confused him even more was Byul.

Did he do something wrong?

Did he say something wrong?

Did she not like him?

Had she been pretending to like him?

Many questions ran through Jaejoong's mind, all were eating his confidence and heart away

'Jaejoong what do you wish for?' Byul asked firmly

'Does it really matter?' Jaejoong asked, his tone sound lifeless 'why do you keep asking for my wish?'

Did she not want to be around him anymore?

Was she sick of him?

Did she got bored of him?

Jaejoong's mind wondered deeper in his dark and depressing thoughts, his own doubts were break him down

'is it because you want to get rid of me?' Jaejoong whispered sadly

His hands were trembling...the thought of not being able to be close to Byul frightened him. 2 years he had felt emptiness, like a part of him was missing...he pretended he was okay, that he was happy to not worry Yunho and Dambi.

And when he had found what he had being missing...that special person that made him felt whole and happiness, that person that wanted nothing to do with him...

It scared him

Pained him

somewhere in his memories, he was certain Byul had been a part of his life.

His heart told him, she was the one that he had loved before and he still had loved till today.

He loves her and It frustrated him that he couldn't be with the one he loved...

'You want to know what I wish for?' Jaejoong asked his voice shaking, eyes 'can you grant what I truly wish for?'

'what do you wish for Jaejoong' Byul asked again

Looking at Byul straight in the eye, not caring at the fact he had tears trailing down 'I wish to be with you.' Jaejoong said with a broken smile 'I wish to be by your side forever...can you grant me that?'

Not giving time for Byul to process what she had heard or gave her time to react, Jaejoong pulled the girl before him close to him and kissed her, taking the opportunity that Byul had let her guard down, Jaejoong deepened the kiss, shocking not only Byul but others who were watching.

Once again I felt the same pain shoot through my head this time it felt more painful, but each time when I feel these pain in my head...piece by piece the forgotten memories slowly began to resurface

'Jaejoong I Song Ki Byul will grant you 3 wishes.'

'Your warm...maybe that's why I like hugging you so much.'

'thanks Aleyna~ hopefully Joongie knows it and takes good care of me.'

Byul was speechless, all she could do was stared at Jaejoong and feel the warmth of his embrace and tears. She felt sadness, sadness because of how hurt, helpless and desperate Jaejoong sounded and looked but she also felt happiness in her heart to hear those words from him

'Byul, you must grant his wish right?' Jihyo finally spoke up

Byul looked at Jihyo who was smiling at her

'You promised didn't you?' Jihyo continued to ask

'His 3rd wish.' Byul remembered

Byul smiled and returned Jaejoong's hug 'if that is your most desired wish...' she whispered to Jaejoong 'I will grant it.'

Jaejoong smiled in tears and chocked out another cry but this time in happiness, hugging his beloved tighter

Yunho got ready to head to the wish shop with Dambi, but before he left, the framed photo on the wall caught his attention.

It was a picture of him, Dambi and Jaejoong taken on the day Byul had recovered from losing her wings...

Except the only difference in the picture was the fact that there was a very faded outline of another person who use to be missing in the photo...

A smile tugged on Yunho's face

Slowly but surely, the photo will be complete just as the two would be.
