Chapter Thirteen
Just A Bunch Of Random.
HaeRa couldn't believe her luck. Just when she thought she was going to fail out of the class, her knight and shining armor appeared in front of her in the form of a second year student named Changjo. The same Changjo of Teen Top. The same Changjo she adored.
She didn't know why she suddenly got lucky, but at this point she wasn't questioning it. Anything to get out of this cloud of confusion called BC Calc. "So you need to get the values first, and then just plug them in on the graph?" Changjo nodded as he sat in front of her desk, watching her complete a problem. "That's right noona. Your smart, you just need a little extra explaining."
HaeRa laughed bitterly. "Tell that to Jin. I couldn't understand a thing when he explained this. You're a very good teacher." Changjo turned his head away to hide the blush. It was a slight ego boost to hear she thought he was better then Kim SeokJin of BTS. "If you have time after school, we can meet in the library. I can go over anything you don't understand in class." HaeRa laughed. "That would be the whole lesson. Changjo-ah, are you sure this is okay? I get exhausted just trying to decipher a word problem, won't you be exhausted?"
"Ani, I'm good in math." Changjo sent a devilish smirk HaeRa's way. She blushed and smacked his arm a bit. "Yah! Don't give me that look." Changjo loved the way HaeRa's cheeks turned red. He liked everything about her. And she was really fun to be around, making him laugh with her words.
Meanwhile across the room, Jin gripped his pencil tightly as he watched the two interact. Jin had stayed up all night writing a guide for HaeRa, a notebook of sorts with all the explanations, answers, and most probable test questions. It was fun to watch her fail, but he didn't think she'd sink this badly. He also didn't expect her to get a tutor. She must have some common sense after all.
Still, Jin couldn't help the strange feeling of annoyance that over came him. Why did Changjo of all people have to show an interest in her? There wasn't anything special about her anyway. Plus, only Jin could tease or tutor HaeRa in his mind. No one else earned the right. She was their guest after all. Not Teen Top's.
He would have to study this feeling more in depth. Too bad Jin doesn't know he's jealous that some other boy get's to tease HaeRa other then him. Only he could make her flustered like that.
He clenched his fist and stared down at his notebook. He needed to focus.
Hannah peeked into the gymnasium, admiring Jimin as he played basketball with the other kids on the team. He was shorter then them but he made up for it in skill. He wasn't a point guard for nothing after all. He dribbled the ball between his legs a few times, then passed to the right wing.
He cut straight towords the basket after the pass, called for the ball, and made the winning lay up. Hannah felt a small smile on her lips as she watched Jimin celebrate the victory. "What are you doing?" A soft voice called from the left of Hannah. She jumped a bit and turned to see Niel of Teen Top? Omo! He really looks handsome in person.
"I was just, uh..." Niel laughed and pointed towards his basketball jersey. "If you want to watch, you can go in you know. Root for me! You're my fan, right?" He flashed her a dashing smile and Hannah felt her heart skip a beat. Obviously he was referring to their dance but why was she feeling like this? Didn't she like Jimin? Maybe Hannah just liked every attractive boy. She was only 16 after all.
"Ah, thanks Oppa! I will." Hannah followed after Niel, taking a spot on the bleachers. A few other girls were also in the bleachers. Some were obviously rooting for Jimin (which made Hannah a little jealous) but she said she'd root for Niel, so she would.
As she watched the players scrimmage, she smiled when Niel made a three point shot. She jumped up and cheered, clapping her hands. She was the only one rooting for Niel and even though she couldn't root for Jimin, it felt good to be the only one. She stood out and she knew by Niel's smile that he liked it.
Ever since the talent show, all sorts of people have been talking to Hannah, trying to get to know her better. She wasn't one for attention, but she did enjoy meeting all these new classmates. When Niel scored another basket, Hannah smiled. He was really princely, she couldn't deny that. She was attracted to Jimin because he was bad, but, maybe a prince is just as nice?
"Hannah! JJang!" Niel shouted to me from the court and I smiled, giving him a fighting sign.
Meanwhile Jimin was furious, jealous even. No one was going to take his target away from him. No one was going to get Hannah first unless it was him. He didn't like the way Niel would smile at her, or the way she would wave while cheering for Niel. Teen Top was the enemy, and he'd be goddamned if he let the enemy win.
As the game progressed, Jimin started to become more aggressive on defense towards Niel. Hannah noticed the sudden aggression and frowned. When a foul was called, Hannah was upset. That was totally uncalled for, you don't push someone to the ground when they go in for a layup. It wasn't sportsman like.
Jimin sent a smirk towards Hannah. He winked at her and pointed towards his jersey. She could feel her face heat up. Despite what he had done, she still found him very attractive. She cursed her easy heart.
The game progressed at the same pace, Jimin being extra aggressive towards Niel. Hannah was getting more and more upset as time went on. What did Niel do to deserve such aggression? She thought it very unsportsman like.
After the game had ended, Hannah ran up to Niel and handed him a water bottle. "Oppa you were great! Though, are you hurt?" Niel chuckled at Hannah's concern. "No I'm fine. Thanks for the water by the way." Hannah gave a smile and a nod.
"Hey you girls should eat lunch with us. We really thought you did amazing at the talent show. You definitely studied me." Niel gave a playful wink when he suggested how intently she studied him. Hannah blushed. Gosh this boy only ever makes her blush.
"They really aren't kidding! You are a prince." Niel patted Hannah on the head. "Shall we my lady?" Hannah gave an airy laugh. "Indeed your highness."
MinHi knew the minute Yoongi spotted her in the empty hallway there would be trouble. That boy, he was like a damn leech she swore. He was ALWAYS around whenever she was about to break the rules. It was errily creepy and quite frankly pissing her off. He was cramping her style. And why was he so perfect all the time? Were the rules such a big deal? What a stickler.
"Manly MinHi what a surprise." The deep voice to the left of her, she knew who it was. "Princess YoonGi how not surprising." Suga laughed. "I told you I wouldn't let you break the rules on my watch. Annoyed yet?" MinHi was, of course, but she didn't want to admit that to YoonGi. She would not give him the satisfaction.
"I bet you don't even have the balls to ditch school. Princess." Suga scoffed. "You don't know anything. I could skip if I wanted to. But I CHOOSE not too. Wait, why do I have to explain myself to you? I just have to make sure you don't escape." MinHi rolled her eyes. Really does this guy do anything wrong?
She pulled a pack of cigarettes out of her pocket. She hadn't smoked since the first day she arrived here. She was craving for one so bad and everytime she'd try to sneak one something or someone always came up.
When Yoongi saw the cancer sticks, he immediately confiscated them from MinHi. "You can't smoke. Ever. Period. Do you want lung cancer?" MinHi rolled her eyes. "We only get one life. Might as well enjoy it." Suga tossed the packet out the window. "This is not the way to live it." MinHi sighed. She didn't have the energy to put up with this today.
"For today only, you win." Suga smirked and followed MinHi back to the classrooms.
MiKyung was extremely confused. Ever since she was released from the hospital, NamJoon has been a ridiculous mother hen. But, when MiKyung had first met NamJoon he seemed the most rugged out of all of them. Yet here he was, practically shoving his bento in her face forcing her to eat. She'd be lying if she said she had an appetite, having lost it a tad bit. She just felt sick all the time, it was hard to want to eat when your body didn't feel hungry.
"If you don't eat your going to pass out again and I am going to leave you on the floor this time." Rap Monster fussed as he held out the piece of meat on his chop sticks. The both of them had taken up residence under the large oak tree behind the school so they were hidden from plain view because the tree trunk was so wide.
"Just leave me then." NamJoon rolled his eyes. "You leave me no choice then." He suddenly leaned in super close and brought his left hand up to squish MiKyung's face together and force fed her the meat. When she started to chew, he let go of her face. To hell with his beating heart. He wanted her to eat and damnit she would eat.
MiKyung on the other hand was left reeling from the closeness of NamJoon. She could practically feel his body heat as he shoved the piece of meat into . His hands were so big and warm, she couldn't help the blush that crept onto her cheek. "Am I going to have to do that again or are you going to eat?" MiKyung squeaked a bit and hurriedly grabbed the extra pair of chopsticks and picked up a few vegetables. She could not handle that again. But really though who knew NamJoon could make a such a fuss?
J-Hope found himself enjoying conversations more and more with EunSeo. He'd learned many things about her, likes, dislikes, even her biggest fear. She loved the color pink, stawberry milk, and sewing. She disliked the dark, black coffee, and pickles. Her biggest fear was the loss of sight. He had learned all these things about her and he was ensnared in her trap.
She had a way of getting him to talk, of getting him to engage in conversations he normally wouldn't. Maybe it was her cheeriness or her interest in topics, but she never lost his attention. Even now as they sat in the Library, her chattering on about something, he couldn't help but hang on her ever word. She was funny and cute to boot. But he'd also discovered that she was very cynical. You definitely had to look past all her charming layers to understand her witty snark and dry humor.
"Speaking of funny stories, I have a really good one about Jimin if you're interested." J-Hope cracked a genuine smile as he said it, enjoying the giddy reaction he recieved from EunSeo. "Oh do tell..." And so J-Hope spent the rest of their time telling embarassing stories about his friends, form the time NamJoon had to wear a pink dress to school or the one time JungKook ripped his pants on a live TV broadcast. EunSeo hadn't stopped laughing since, even sharing some of her own embarassing moments.
They had a good friendship. They were building a good foundation. EunSeo thought it would be only a matter of time until she'd have the heart of the beautiful boy in front of her. And he already had hers, even if he didn't know it yet.
AUTHOR'S NOTE : Hahahah bad NamJoon! You can't just shove your meat into a girls mouth! XDDDDDDD I had so much fun writing that part. I am obviously not mature enough to handle meat. And oh my god SeoHope is becoming my baby. I think I ship them harder then HaeJin. And that's my own damn ship lol I can just imagine every scene I write of them actually happening. Next chapter is going to be a moment ByulHee's creator has been waiting for (wherever you may be) because it's going to be the first time JungKook is taken by complete and utter surprise. Not really much action went on in this chapter, just some intro into how Teen Top are going to catapult the jealousy of Jimin and Jin. Those two knuckle heads will only understand once they feel threatened. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed it! Until next time! :D
