CHAPTER 8

Kai POV

Jamie's voice was like basket and baskets of silk, floating out like fluffy clouds.

I suddenly felt lightheaded.

I closed my eyes for a brief moment before opening them again.
Then, there it was again, the soft melody filling in my ears and my chest.

'No wonder she’s the main vocalist', I thought.
'She's even better than Kyungsoo hyung!'

But why am I mad at Jamie? What did she ever do to me?
I was the one who acted y in the first place.
She did nothing to me.

I should try to get along with her, I decided.

When she finished singing, everyone, including myself, stood up and clapped like maniacs, whistled, and stomped their foot on the ground so loud that the mics picked it up.

Reowook hyung gestured to Jamie to sit down.
He tested his voice to see if it wasn't cracking, then muttered,
"Holy crap."

He then cheered,
"Wow, Jamie! You're voice is definitely one of a kind.
I'm impressed, SILVER. You all look like you've got some serious talent!"

In the corner of my eyes, I saw Jamie blushing light pink. Did she like Reowook hyung?
But... Who was I to care?
I was probably the first one on her 'I hate you' list.

I figured it was none of my business, and sank back in my cushioned chair.
