We arrive at the hotel and the rain was still pouring. We all rush back to our respective hotel rooms together with our supervising instructors. As I reach my room, I see Min Ra sitting on her bed, listen to her playlist.

She looks up with a smile, “Min Ri” she waves

“Hey” I smile and my phone vibrates

I took it out saw the message from Key. I shook my head and smiled

“Min Ri, can you please set me up a date with Min Ra? I beg of you” Key pleads through his text

I smile and plan on teasing him, “I don’t know . . . I’m a little busy these past few days” I sent the text

“PLEASE! I WILL BE YOUR SLAVE FOR ONE WHOLE YEAR IF YOU SET ME UP! PLEEEAAAAASSSEEE!!!”  Key begs

“Fine . . . meet me at the lobby in thirty minutes, okay? We’ll think of some ‘date’ for you guys” I sent the text

“THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!”

I giggle at Key’s cute reaction. The door of our hotel room opens and it revealed Mr. Cho, “Ladies?” he calls

“Ne?” Min Ra and I say in unison

“The teachers planned to give the students a free night tonight so, do as you please but stay in the hotel. The weather is a little off today and the faculty decided since there are no back up activities, we’ll leave them to you” he says with a smile

“Sir, can we go to bar?” I joke

“No. No bars. Drinking and smoking is strictly prohibited, but the exclusive restaurants and hotel mall are open for the students” he smiles

“Thank you, sir” I smile at him

“Have a nice afternoon” he says and closes the door

I look at Min Ra and flash her a smile, “What?” she asks

“Let’s go out tonight” I say and stand

“Where?”

“I’ll take you to a fancy restaurant . . . and I’m going to invite my friend” I say

She blushes, “No. Not today” she says

“What?! Why?” I sit on her bed

“I’m not really ready for a date” she points

“I’ll lend you clothes. Now, go and take a shower” I command her

She smiles and gives me a hug, “Thank you so much!” and then she runs to the bathroom

I quickly take out a white dress that was above her knees, nothing to flashy. A simple white dress and a pair of black doll shoes with a moon-shaped necklace would complete her outfit. I take my phone in my hands and text Key, Kim and Min Hee.

Group Text: Key, Kim, Min Hee

“Hey guys! Mission ‘Key and Min Re commence. Meet me at the lobby. Now” I sent the text and knocked on the bathroom door, “Min Ra, I’ll be back later, okay?”

“Okay!” she says over the closed door

I quickly head for the elevator and go down to the lobby. I sat in one of the lobby couches and then I see Taemin and Minho heading for the elevators. I was about to call Taemin but Kim arrived, running towards me, panting.

“Hey! What’s the plan?” she asks

“Okay, we take Key and Min Ra to a restaurant and then we’ll have a special table for them. Candles and romantic music will play” I say

Kim nods and then Min Hee arrives with Key, “What’s the plan?” Key asks

“Go upstairs and take a shower. Wear your best outfit” I say

Key nods and turns his back on us, “Key!” I call

“Yes?” he turns

“Don’t you dare screw this up” I warned and he nods

“What are you planning to do?” Min Hee asks

“I’m setting them up for a date” I say

“I know. But, what are you planning to do?”

“Romantic dinner. I want yo and Kim to set up the romantic dinner tonight. I’ll go and get her ready . Okay?” I explain and she nods

I walk back up to my room and I found Minho standing outside of my room.  He was leaning his back on against the door with a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates. I walk closer and he sees me.

“Hey” he says

“Hi” I greet him

He breaths in sharply, “I’m sorry . . . the thing about Ae Cha, she was just asking me a favour” he explained

I breathed in, “I don’t really care” I open the door to the hotel room and close it behind me

“Min Ri! How do I look?” she twirls in front of me

I smile, “You look great!” I compliment her

She blushes, “You think your friend will like me?”

I giggle, “He does like you. Now, come on” I pull her hand out the door and Minho wasn’t there anymore. We continue to walk towards the elevator and ride the elevator car to the lobby. I pull out my phone and start texting the gang.

“Group Message: Key, Kim, Min Hee

Key, get ready, your date is here. Kim and Min Hee, is the restaurant ready?”

Min Hee replies back, “Ready”

Key’s message follows, “I’m ready”

Min Ra and I step out of the elevator and I lead her to a restaurant down the hall. As we pass by, I see students and teachers roaming around and having a great time. We arrived at the Jurin restaurant.

“This is your stop” I say and she smiles,

 “Wish me luck”

“Fighting!” I say and she enter

I watch her enter and I see Kim and Min Hee hiding by the plants near the restaurant. They smile at me and I walk towards them.

“Take pictures, okay?” I say and they nod

I walk towards the elevator and wait for the car to arrive. I wait patiently and as the elevator doors open, I ride in. I press the button to my floor and it was good that no one rode along with me, making the ride to my floor faster. I step out and head to my room and take a shower. Wearing a tank top and sport shorts, I head to the rooftop with tea in my hands. The rooftop was empty, nothing but the great view of Tokyo right in front of your eyes. I place my tea on the ledge and absorb the beauty Tokyo has to offer. Lights from buildings were enough to light up the whole city. The wind blew hard and I had goose bumps. A blanket was thrown over my shoulders, keeping me warm.

“Ms. Lee” he calls and I turn

“Mr. Cho?” he was standing inches from me

“Why do you keep disappearing?” he asks

I raise a brow, “Sir?”

“Why are you here? No plans for tonight?” he asks

“No, sir” I answer

He nods and lets out a sigh, “Get inside when you’re done with your tea, Ms. Lee. You might catch a cold out here” he says

“Ne” I say

I felt the need to thank him, but I also felt the need to question his sudden appearance at times. First, it was during lunch time. Second, was yesterday when the rain started pouring and he was there with an umbrella. Now, he was here and he placed a blanket over my shoulder. Is he stalking me? No. But, why would he just suddenly appear out of nowhere? Coincidence? But, it happened three times already. Minho was right, I was clueless. I didn’t want to give it any meaning, but I couldn’t avoid it. Does he . . . like me? Or something? I couldn’t tell. I didn’t want to assume things so, I shrugged the idea off and quickly drank my tea. Proceeding to my room, there was a box on my door step. I lean down to get in and there was a card attached to the box.

“Wishes were meant to be heard but dreams were mean to happen. Hope is a dream that never sleeps . . . a little gift for you . . .” it was written on the card

This is the corniest way Minho said  sorry to me. I open my room and I sit on the bed. I open the box and smile at the gift. A dream catcher. I lift it up and hang it on the side of my bed. I lay on my bed and sleep.
