One summer day the little student Minwoo was doing his biology homework. He got stacked with anatomy. He knows nothing about circulatory system. What to do? He scratched his head again and again, trying to understand. He needed help. He will ask the hyungs for help. Who could be the best one? Heechul hyung? Nah, Kwanghee hyung? Double no. What about the older, charismatic and amazing Kevin? Sure he knows.

-Hyung, why does our heart beat?

Minwoo stood up from his studying desk and rapidly place his hands on Kevin’s chest. Just on his heart. Kevin held his breath. He didn’t know why buy he did it. 30 seconds passed. Kevin looked at Minwoo’s face who was busy counting mentally. He blushed. 50 seconds passed.

-Hyung…

-What..?

-Your beats were 160 in a minute. Is that ok?

-Ah..ma-ma-maybe because I was a bit nervous.

-Why?

-I just was.

-Ok, let me take note of that numbers.

-Ok.

-Well now let’s hear it!

-WHAT?

-What what? I want to hear them. I’m intrigued about the buum buum buum of your heart, hyung.

-No way!

-Come on, it’s just one minute. I really wanna hear the buum buum buum.

Minwoo again stood up from his desk. He pushed his hair behind his right ear and slowly pressed it onto Kevin’s chest. Kevin was hardly breathing.  He felt his lungs full of air even without inhale any of it. His heart was going to reveal his feelings. 20 seconds passed. When this listening-his-heart-beat thing was going to end? 40 seconds. Minwoo was still counting. 60 seconds.

-Hyung..

-What?

-200 beats in one minute. That’s amazing.

-Yo-you are kidding.

-It’s true. I know what I just heard!

-You must have counted wrongly

-Hyung, I really think you should see a doctor. How could it increase so much in a few seconds?

-You’re crazy. Go back to study and stop bothering me!!

-Aish.. .so stubborn. Whatever, thanks anyway. Now I think I understand hearts a bit more.

-….Whatever.

Kevin left. Minwoo smiled and went back to his seat. He opened his notebook and wrote on it.

“The heart. It’s an interesting organ. Beats normally 60-100 times per minute. Beats more than 160 times when that person touches you. Beats more than 200 times when that person is close to you. Really, and interesting organ.”

He closed his notebook smiling.
