A big fat tear rolled down her cheek. She squeezed her eyes shut and turned away from Joon. He reached out for her hand, clutching her wrist.

“Jung-ah, don’t go,” he said. “Not like this.”                                               

She took a deep breath, pulled her hand away from Joon’s grasp, and walked off the set.

“Anddddd CUT!” shouted the director. “Good job people, let’s end filming for today.”

Minji wiped her cheek and bowed to the staff.

“Thank you, everyone!” she waved.

Joon bowed as well, “See you tomorrow!”

A group of coordi-noonas/unnies rushed up to meet Joon and Minji, rubbing off their make up and handing them clothes to change into.

Joon turned to Minji, “Hey, wanna go bowling after this?”

Minji smirked, “Who else is coming?”

“Yoseob, Doojoon, Seungho, Chundoong, Hyunseung, and you,” Joon listed.

“Wah! Yoseob is coming??” Minji gasped. “Nice. Joonie! Can I invite one of my friends too?”

Joon shrugged. “Why not?”

Minji dialed a number on her cellphone.

She busted out her English: “Waaaaaaaaaaaaah. Hyesung! You gotta come bowling with me. Right now.”

“Wha? Dude, I’m busy,” an annoyed voice said.

Minji persisted, almost screaming into her phone, “Trust me on this. Drop what you’re doing now. I get that you want to watch City Hunter 2, but just record it. I’ll be over in thirty minutes. Be ready.”

She hung up before Hyesung could respond.

Joon smiled at Minji. “Meet you back here in ten.” And they parted ways, each going into his or her respective dressing room.

By the time Minji was done changing out of her costume, Joon was chatting with Seungho and Yoseob.

She smiled at them, bowing slightly, “Seungho-sshi, Yoseob-sshi annyeong!”

“Yah, you take so long!” Joon whined.

Minji stuck her tongue out at Joon and scoffed. “Let’s go.”

Minji set off first, with Yoseob shuffling behind.

Seungho pulled Joon back, muttering, “Just do it! Okay?”

Joon snickered, “Okay Hyung, but you owe me!”

They pulled up to a condominium plaza and Minji happily hopped out. By then, Hyesung had already made her way down and met Minji with a hug. Minji latched her arm to Hyesung’s, pulling her to the van.

Hyesung took one look in, bit the inside of her cheek, and swallowed her initial swoon.

It was him. Yoseob. To say that she was a fan of BEAST’s lead singer was an understatement.

Minji climbed in first, purposely sitting next to Seungho so that Hyesung could sit with Yoseob. Seungho shifted so that Minji could have more room, pointedly pursing his lips together, blinking furiously. He felt heat rise up into his cheeks. Joon, who was sitting on Seungho’s other side, noticed and stifled a series of snickers, earning himself an elbow to his side from his leader.

Minji leaned forward in her seat, whispering in Hyesung’s ear, “Aren’t I super cool? You love me. Admit it.”

Hyesung smiled, and as Yoseob turned to speak with Hyesung, Minji dropped her phone on the space next to Hyesung, allowing her to squeeze Hyesung closer to Yoseob as she reached for her phone.

Joon couldn’t help but notice how tense his Hyung was. He decided to do some matchmaking of his own, after noticing Minji’s clever tactics to get Hyesung with Yoseob. (It was well known to Joon that Hyesung, Minji’s best friend, had a huge crush on Yoseob).

Joon looked around the van, finally setting his eyes on an mp3 player in the cup holder next to Minji.

“Hyung! Hand me the mp3 please!~~” Joon smiled to himself as Seungho awkwardly reached over Minji to retrieve the mp3.

Seungho adjusted his baseball cap and stole a quick glance at Minji, who probably didn’t notice his reaching over her since she was looking at the passing buildings.

When they finally arrived, the group pushed and shoved their way out of the car, while Seungho nicely helped Minji out. She smiled at him, then ran to catch up with Joon.

Seungho sighed. This wasn’t going to be easy.

After they had a lane set up, the party started picking teams.

Joon sized up the situation, making Yoseob and Minji captains. He quickly whispered to Yoseob, “Pick Hyesung. I hear she’s beastly at bowling.”

Yoseob nodded with a smile, choosing Hyesung as his first pick. Minji pretended to pout, but winked at Hyesung.

She looked at the available selections. “I pick…Hyunseung!” She felt her heart jump a bit as he took his place next to her. Of course, she did likeHyunseung a bit, her favorite BEAST member.

Seungho sighed to himself, chewing the inside of his cheek.

Yoseob playfully made an annoyed face at Minji, then picked…”Chundoong!”

Joon waved his hand at Minji, as if saying “pick me!” Minji rolled her eyes and picked Seungho.

Finally Yoseob picked Joon, leaving Minji with Doojoon.

The teams were quite unevenly matched, as Hyesung actually pretty much at bowling, while Joon wasn’t really good at anything, Chundoong had weak arms and bad aim. Yoseob was relatively good, but still not enough to hold up the rest of his team. Minji’s team, on the other hand, dominated. Doojoon’s swing was amazingly accurate and strong, and he made most of the strikes. Seungho, unlike Joon, was good at…everything, hence also good at bowling. Hyungseung and Minji were decent, but relied on the former two for most their points.

After three rounds, Minji’s team winning all three, the group decided to split. Doojoon insisted on going home early to rest for his variety show appearance the next day, dragging Hyunseung with him. Joon dismissed Chundoong to go home as well, since “Mir is home alone and can’t be trusted.” This left Yoseob, Hyesung, Minji, Seungho, and Joon. The driver dropped them off in Hongdae, leaving them to do whatever.

Yoseob appointed himself leader of the group, deciding to disguise them first. They bought hats from a street vendor, Yoseob and Hyesung picking matching ones, Minji getting a Pikachu hat, and Joon getting one with his name on it. Seungho, a fan of hats, was already wearing one, which coincidentally was fashioned to resemble a Pokeball.

Funnily, Joon’s hat lettered with his name caught the attention of many fans, who swarmed around him like a pack of…mosquitoes.

Yoseob latched onto Hyesung’s arm and pulled them to a noodle vendor. Minji laughed and gushed to Seungho, “They’re so cute!”

He laughed as well, “They suit each other well. Who’s your friend?”

“Hyesung…Kang Hyesung. She’s the writer of the drama I’m in, ‘You’re the One That I Want’.”

Seungho immediately recognized the popular Monday-Tuesday drama. Fellow member Joon was the Main Male Lead, acting opposite Minji. How could he not know? He was the victim of the green-eyed monster for many weeks after finding out his band mate was going to be the fictional object of affection of his secret crush.

Just then, a pair of girls approached Minji and Seungho.

One said, “Wow. You’re Jung Minji, right?? From You’re the One That I Want? Unnie! Your acting is daebak!! Please sign for us!”

Minji took the pen the fan offered, quickly signing. The other girl added, “Do you know how the drama will end? I hope Jung-ah will be with Ki-hoon instead of Young-jae!”

She was referring to Song Joongki’s character Ki-hoon, versus Lee Joon’s character Young-jae. Minji personally wanted Jung-ah to be with Young-jae, and knew the outcome of the plot since Hyesung was her best friend, but she kept that information to herself.

“Please keep watching and supporting us! Thank you for your love!” Minji smiled.

Then, the girls seemed to take notice of Seungho.

“Omo! You’re MBLAQ’s leader Seungho, right? Wow! You’re so handsome in real life!! Please sign for us as well!”

After they got away from the avid fans, Minji laughed to Seungho, “She says you’re handsome in real life…so I guess you look pretty bad on tv.”

Seungho scoffed. “Do I? Who could possibly resist my attractive eye-bags?”

Minji nudged him with her arm, “Of course, Seungho-sshi…you look amazing and I really love your dark circles.”

“Seungho-sshi?” Seungho playfully asked.

“Or do you like Seungho-ajusshi?”

“Ajusshi?!”

“Haha, just kidding, Oppa~~”

Minji collapsed on her bed. She fanned herself, decided she couldn’t take the heat, and grudgingly got up to turn on the air conditioner. Then she grabbed her stuffed bunny and leapt onto her bed once more.

She couldn’t help but fan-girl swoon. At last, she spent quality time with Seungho, the charismatic yet kind leader of Mblaq. She thought of all the times they visited the set of her drama to pick up Joon after filming, and hoping he’d compliment her acting or at least say ‘hi’.

But he called her “Minji-ah” and she could call him “Oppa” today. Minji threw her bunny lightly in the air, then hugged it close, rolling around on her puffy bed and thinking back to her time with Seungho.

Although they often saw each other, due to Minji's close friendship with Joon, they seldom talked and this was their first time alone together, and Minji treasured it.
