It’s 6:30pm in the winter, and your cozied up under your blanket, watching some TV. You were just about to drink your hot chocolate when a knock came from the door. Setting down the cup on the table, you move the blanket off you and get the door.

You: “Who is it?” Opening the door to find Taemin standing outside “Taemin what are you doing here?” Looking at what he’s wearing. He had a pretty heavy coat on him, and skinny jeans. His mouth was kind of covered by a scarf, wrapped around his neck, and his hands trying to keep warm in his pockets

Taemin: “Hey _____, Come on let’s go!” He gestures to the car waiting on the curb

You: “I-I don’t understand? Taemin it’s cold, I don’t want to go out at this hour” You show him your cozy setup in the living room

Taemin: “______, Please? I have a something to show you” He pouts, tilting his head at an angle like a sad puppy

You: Biting your lip “Sigh, I’ll go get my jacket…” You turn around and head to your room while Taemin celebrates his win. You come back with a jacket on to keep you warm, and turned off the lights and TV before locking your door. He opens the door for you and climbs in after you. Since he didn’t know how to drive yet, he hired a driver for tonight.

Getting out of the car, you look around to see Christmas lights set up everywhere

You: “Where are we?” Seeing the lights settled on the tree branches and noticing not one person was around.

Taemin: “Follow me” He takes your hand, excited to show you what he had done.

He stops at a wall, where there was just darkness in front of you guys

Taemin: Smiling proud “What do you think?” He gestures to the darkness

You: Confused “I don’t see anything?” looking up at him. His smile gets bigger as he claps his hands, and the lights turn on. There in front of you was a whole ice skating rink!? The sudden sight makes you gasp

Taemin: “I got the whole ice skating rink reserved just for your birthday” He leans against the wall, while you cover your mouth with your hands

You: “Taemin… This is amazing” lost for words

Taemin: “Come on, let’s go skating” He grabs your hand again and pulls you to one of the seats around the rink. He pulls out 2 ice skates underneath the seat. He helps you put them on, and puts his on himself. “Ready?” Standing up in his skates

You stand up and follow him to the entrance. The ice was sleek and smooth, as you started to walk on it. You were holding on to the wall for support while he was already skating around, smiling at you. Letting go of the wall, you started skating after him, but when you got close, he skated farther

It ended up being a chase game, with you chasing him. Feeling the cold wind against your skin as you skated through the ice. You were skating faster and faster, catching up to him until you lost your balance and accidently falling on your .

Embarrassed at the whole thing, you blushed a deep red, while Taemin, who witnessed the whole thing, started laughing!

You tried to get up, but ended up slipping again, making Taemin laugh even harder. He began skating to you, but when he tried to stop, he ended up shredding some ice on top of you

Taemin: Seeing you covered in ice after what he had done “Oops” chuckling to himself

You: “Yaah!” Brushing off the ice. You notice some loose ice next to you and threw it at him

Taemin: “Hey!” getting the ice off his jacket, while you laugh. Laughing too hard, you didn’t notice that he face was right in front of yours. You blush a deep red, feeling his hot breath, and try to cover it up. He laughs at your blush and wraps his scarf around you so that you can hide it better. “Here” He takes your hand now, helping you stand. You brush off the remaining ice with your other hand.

He holds your hand tightly while he starts skating. You and him skate together, not letting go. He sneaks glances at you, who was really enjoying skating.

After only a few minutes of skating together, you lost your balance once again, but this time you ended up falling on top of Taemin; His back to the ice, and you on his stomach

You: Noticing you’re position “S-Sorry” getting off him. He just laughs at your silliness.

Taemin: “Are you having fun ______?” Sitting up now. Still nervous about what just happened, you nod your head avoiding his eyes. “I’m glad…” He takes your chin and bring it closer to his, giving you a sweet, warm kiss on the lips. Pulling away “Happy birthday ______...” He smiles before continuing the kiss, ignoring the cold ice you guys were sitting on.
