The faintest flickers of sunlight peeked through a gap in the drawn curtains of Kai's bedroom, stirring a small sleeping male scrunched in a mass of tangled blankets and duvets. The smaller who twisted groggily in his fort of comforters blinked rapidly as the increasing brightness of the room filtered through. Eventually sitting up with a dazed expression clouding the petite male, Luhan squinted his eyes against the room attempting to make out his surroundings as he rubbed drowsily at his eyes.

Yawning and stretching upwards as the blurred vision of his surroundings set to a clear view, Luhan gasped at the realisation that he had no idea where he was. Taking in the span of the room and studying the bookshelves, desks, and stereos lined up on sides of the room, Luhan contemplated quickly whether it would be a good idea to scream something along the lines of 'Holy , I've been kidnapped'. The blinding and deafening silence of the room urged the male to only do so even more as he came to eventually deciding against doing so under his current 'captive' circumstances.

Fiddling with the cotton material of the blanket that was placed carefully around Luhan's body with the edges tucked in neatly around him, Luhan sniffled as his sleeping habits had caught himself in a bundle of duvets. Struggling to free himself from the clutches of the comforters, Luhan used the time to try and recall the events that occurred earlier. Not seeming to remember the past events that played over a short span of a few hours for him to end up somewhere unknown, Luhan begrudgingly gave up on the thought of remembering past his hallway meeting with Sehun. Urging his body to crawl out of the warmth of the bed, Luhan dropped a foot to the almost reflective floor, flinching at the touch of cold wood against his bare feet.

Studying the dust particles that flew amidst the air in a particular area above the ground with the sunlight illuminating their presence, Luhan viewed the actions, admiringly failing to notice the presence of an entering male. 'You awake?' A soft voice had whispered, startling the thinking male who sat watching the ground as Kai entered in his bedroom.

Recognising the mellow voice to some extent as the voice of the guy Sehun named Kai, and also the tanned male who gave him a handkerchief and comforted him, Luhan couldn't help but smile as he gazed up. Glancing towards the bedroom door, the sight of the taller male’s genuine worried expression caused Luhan's heart to clench at the endearing sight. 'Yea I'm awake now.' The smaller male had whispered, bringing his legs to his chest to rest his chin on.

Unsure whether it'd be rude to ask where he was, Luhan didn't question Kai, who the smaller thought was most likely the person who provided him with a place to stay while he was emotionally unstable from Sehun. As if reading the older male’s mind, Kai replied with a small smile in Luhan's direction. 'You're in my apartment,' As if he was having an internal argument with himself, Kai decided to continue his statement. 'You fell asleep yesterday...and well I just brought you back to my place because I didn't really know what I was supposed to do with you.'

Understanding the current situation, relief washed over Luhan at the realisation of him being safe and sound. Grinning, the smaller turned his head to rest his right cheek on top of his knees. Peering carefully at the taller male who had walked into the enclosed space of his bedroom, he watched in silence as the taller made way to his closet searching for something.

Coming back minutes later with a button down shirt, and black jeans, Kai offered the pile of make-shift clothes to the older male, giving the smaller a cheery smile. Luhan's cheeks rose to a no
