It's okay that my heart aches for him, because as long as he can exist where I can see him. That's enough for me.

The bell has rung for end of first period a good 6 hours ago, however Sehun was still present in the empty music room, hands lingering on the familiar black and white keys embedded neatly into the large instrument. His finger tips grazing against the cold, wooden surfaces of nicely polished keys had the male pause briefly to slide an index finger down gently on a C note in the higher octave. The key emitted out a sweet melodic note, as the dancer stared blankly at the grand piano placed in the centre of the music study area, amongst sections of string instruments and vocal equipments.
Edging the stool placed before the piano more inwards, the taller male took a seat and brought hesitant hands before the piano keys. Each nerve in his body anticipating for the familiar melody that Sehun still recalls in detail from years ago, a sharp note was pressed as chords of the once well acquainted song reverberated against the sound proof walls of the room. The melody which was written in a major key appeared mundane and dull in comparison to its original, that formerly depicts a visual scenery image of green fields of spring grass and cloudy skies high above two lovers. Blinking watery eyes to a close, the younger male spanned out his hands across the keys of the piano in an attempt to evoke past memories buried deep under emotions of spiralling contrast. Fingers shaking, Sehun began to play a fragment of the lost song.

*Flashback- 3 Years Ago*
'Is this key a sharp or a flat?' Luhan questioned squinting his eyes at the complex music score in an endeavour to decipher the large amount of notes on the page that brought confusion to the older male sitting rigid in front of a piano. 'Wait, is this bar in C major or A minor?' The smaller quizzed quietly to himself with a perplex expression evident as he brought a finger to count the notes in the single bar, trying to identify the key signature. In his frustration and mutter of complaints, it caused his companion to peer up in his concentrated choreography of dance to check if the latter was having difficulties and whether he acquired help.
Pausing his music that blasted through his headphones and drowned out all sounds, Sehun ambled quickly to Luhan's side and took a seat next to the petite male as he eased the score out of the latter's hands. Shooting a glance of concern in the older's direction, the brunette analysed the music sheet in confusion. 'This is some complicated ...' Sehun announced as he held the piece of printed paper towards one of the light source in the room. Scrutinising against the large amount of semi-quavers and crotchets present on the page, the dancer scrunched up the piece of material in his hand and threw the waste across the empty floor boards of the dance room.
'Why the hell did you do that?' Luhan screeched in a pitched voice as he left his spot on the piano bench to chase after the rumpled score sheet. Sehun in turn reached out to grab the smaller's wrist, hauling the complaining younger back and secured the struggling male on to his lap. 'Sehun, my notes were on that.' The smaller protested in a pleading tone as he shifted his shoulders, trying to displace the younger's hands that constricted the latter of his free movements. 'Sehun?' The honey-blonde male objected as the former remained silent about his opinions.
'If you play exactly to the scores' written, then you aren't expressing your take on the song and how you interpret each note that is embodied in overwhelming emotions of contrast,' The brunette explained as he loosened hold of Luhan that was previously trapped in the former's long limbs. 'It's like dancing. You can't imitate an already perfect choreography. You have to feel the music and the emotions incorporated into the song and lyrics.' Releasing hold of Luhan and standing upright whilst bringing the latter to a standing position, the taller continued. 'If you mirror something that's already perfect, it's just an imitation, you have to feel.'
Pulling out a miniature remote control, Sehun pointed the device at a forgotten CD player placed in the corner of the room and pressed play. Discarding the mechanism in the direction of Luhan and watching as the older caught it easily with one hand, the brunette grinned and shot a wink in his lover's orientation. A soft chordal structure of a song sounded, illuminating the dim
