The wind was like vines of desperate passion, leading us to the possibility of change. It eloped us together, binding our emotions and thoughts into one.

Eyes vacillating to meet Kai's incessant look caused a nervous Luhan to fidget in his spot, retracting a skeptical hand and sliding the palm of his hand onto the back of the tanned male's whilst retaining his expression, Luhan paused. Easing with gentle movements, the older placed Kai's hand against his chest close to his erratically beating heart. 'I can't love you. I can't love anyone as much as I loved him. You know that right?' The honey-blonde male spoke with an unreadable tone in his voice as he kept his gaze on the younger's face, watching as several emotions flew past. An uncomfortable pause stayed within the air as the two companions breathed in heavy essences of oncoming precipitation as Luhan kept silent and patient. 

'I know.' The tanned male finally responded as he breathed out a reluctant sigh. Disappointment and despair mixed within his dark brown orbs had the petite male regret his harsh phrasing of words as the former observed the dancer's response. 'I know you can't love anyone as much as Sehun. , I don't know what he's done to have you so in love with someone like him.' Examining the confusion washing across the younger's face with an indecisive look in place, Kai continued with a hysterical edge in his voice. 'I know you will never love me as much as Sehun. I know you will never want me as much as Sehun. I know in your heart I'll always remain second, but in spite of this, I want to give us a try...'

Smiling a genuine smile that touched the inside of the latter's heart, Luhan nodded with slow, leisure motions as he gazed down at Kai's hand still pressed atop the left of his chest, directly on top of his rapidly increasing heart beats. Slender fingers grazing the tops of the dancer's hand, the petite male spoke with a mellow voice as he leaned towards the latter bringing their foreheads together and in the process shutting his eyes. 'Do you feel that Kai? My heart is beating, for me and no one else*. In that, I choose to love you for as long as my heart is beating and only love you. I won't reminisce over the past as the present is where I am suppose to be and in spite of what happened, you will remain the only one in my heart.'

Blinking eyes open after the heart-felt statement, soft sunlight peeking through grey looming clouds met the older's opening eyes as the former shifted his gaze to Kai's orbs. Watching dark chocolate brown pupils stare back with affection and love, known words that remained unuttered was expressed as lips were hastily brought to one another. Soft tenderness pressed gently against each other had the honey-blonde male smile into the kiss as pure love was asserted. Pulling back from the sweet exchange, the tanned male was quick to lean forwards within milliseconds of separation to reclaim Luhan's mouth, pressing quick, soft kisses on the smaller's mouth.

Eyes warm as if fires were ablaze within, Kai stole another kiss as he grazed his mouth over Luhan's, lips ghosting past one another, innocent alternations were halted as the older male twisted around allowing him better access to the taller's mouth. An insistent kiss that was firmly planted on the younger had the dancer smile gingerly into the exchange as bodies were pressed securely together radiating warmth within each other's close collective presence. The two males biding with lips hot against another were ignorant of their surroundings as mouths were opened and tongues were slipped out of their intended places. The flashes of lightning and thunder sounded dully in the background as the two lulled in one another's demeanour.

The lightning that lit up the greying background and the thunder that muffled lewd noises made, clothes went askew and hair astray as Luhan and Kai captured each other's essences in the silent instant of euphoria. The drizzling rain water that ran against their cheeks and soaked through their attires was discounted as the tension running amidst the air intensified. Breaking the kiss for quick gasps of air,
