Audition Day

“ Sandy hurry up! We might be late for my audition!”, Jiyong barked.

“ Aish! We are an hour early!, See?’, Dara answered showing her watch to JIyong’s face.

“ I need a lot of time to prepare you know!”

“ You mean a lot of time to calm yourself… Aigoo! Why so nervous baby boy! You definitely have the talent to make their eyes pop out of their sockets”, she said lightening the mood.  And I would definitely beat Uncle Hyunsuk’s if he will waste such a talent!, she added to herself. Yes, YG himself is her father’s best friend.

Jiyong seems to be at his own world, mumbling some incoherent words. Dara heaved a sigh. She  reach for his shoulder and make him face her.

“Ji, you are talented…extremely talented. You will be a famous rapper, songwriter and performer. Just like what you told me when we first met, be your own best friend, not your worst critic. Just imagine you are performing in front of me and do not think so much arasso? Just get lost with your music and be yourself, neh? You are perfect just by being you”, she smiled genuinely.

GD is almost teary eyed, deeply touched by her words. “ Thanks Sandy, you really know the right words to say…” , he hugged her really tight.

Dara was almost paralyzed.  Her arms fall limply at her sides. Just as she was about to hug him too…

“ Kwon Jiyong, you’re next”, the coordinator called cutting their moment.

“ Jiyongie, fighting!”, she yelled.

“ Yes! Fighting!”, he answered back before walking inside the audition room.
