[OSEN=Lee Hye Rin] A popular idol group EXO was chosen as '14 Artists to Watch in 2014' by America's Billboard.
Billboard said "EXO is a boy band that is getting more and more interest in the states and is composed of 12 members and will become K-Pop's next generation crossover star" and predicted. They also added "The music video of Growl, which got influenced by the hip hop in the south, is a music video that is the third most watched in 2013 in America after world-famous Psy and GIRLS' GENERATION. Also, EXO became the 5th place with 'Growl' in '2013 Biggest-selling K-pop tracks in America' and became 9th place with 'Wolf', which got its ideas from dub step" and reported.
In last year, EXO made a splendid achievement of exceeding over 1,000,000 in the amount of albums sold for their first album 'XOXO(Kiss&Hug)' in last year and have received the grand award in '2013 Melon Music Awards' and '2013 MAMA' and 'The Song of the Year' award in KBS 'Music Awards'. Other than that, even when they have dominated the end-of-the-year awards ceremonies in China by also receiving '2013 the Best Group Award' in China's 'Top Chinese Music Billboard Awards' and so on, they got the attention from Billboard and proved their worldwide popularity.
Meanwhile, EXO is expected to participate in '28th Golden Disk Awards' that will take place at Grand Peace Palace in Kyunghee University on January 16th.
