Victoria’s POV

He was holding my hand as we trip the mall. All this time, he’ll look for a thing that’ll look good at me and then later, he’ll buy it. He is so eager to change me, well what’s wrong w/ me? Aren’t I good having this? This long hair in pony, my thick glasses, what’s wrong w/ this? I mean, do I really need to change?

We went on different shops, and he’s buying everything he thinks that will look good on me. I felt ashamed  because I’m not his girlfriend, so its not necessary to do this things. And the fact that he’s still holding my hand is making me a lil’ bit more uneasy.

I finally got the guts to ask him why he is doing such things.

‘hey. Mind if you listen to me just for I while?’ I said, he looks at me, then he smile nodding.

‘sure, but wait, lets sit first, coz I’m getting tired.’ He said while holding while dragging me in the nearest bench inside the mall.

‘so, what is this? Why are you doing this?’ I asked, I looked into his eyes, waiting for the most honest answer that I wish to get.

‘I just want! I just felt like I need to. You know, I don’t like to see people teasing you. Changing is the most effective way to do so, right?’ he said. I was kinda surprised w/ that answer, coz why would he bother if they tease me, because to tell the truth I got used to it since I came here in Korea. And I don’t want to change. That’s final.

I just stare at him after I heard his answer, then I look down.

‘cant you say any better answer? Coz you know what, I felt that I was one of those lead actress in the drama who’s poor enough to buy things, so when a prince charming came and he got an eye on me it turns out that he’ll give me everything I needed.’ I just said it, aren’t i? its too embarrassing. Why does it turn out like this? When I only want is to stop him doing this.

He stared at me for a long time, and then, he laugh, a loud laugh w/c is enough to destroy the only confidence that I still got now. When he stopped laughing, he looks at me again, then he hold my hand for the third time.

‘So, I look like a prince to you? I’m happy, very happy to hear that.’ He said, I was frozen, literally, coz I don’t have any words left to say. What should I do? Yah! Kyuhyun-ssi! Why making me feel this way?

I grabbed my bag in his hands, then turn around.

‘I just get going, its too late now, my parents must be worried now, bye and thanks.’ Then, I run. I heard him shout but, this is the only thing I can do now. To escape this person, or else, my dear first love will soon grow, and I don’t want that.

Home at last. I walk silently in the stairs to avoid the gazes of my parents, but as I stepped my feet on the stairs, I heard my mom said.

‘is this how a high school student go home? This time? Aren’t it too late?’ I heard her, she almost shout, I looked at her but I avoid her eyes.

‘sorry mom, we need to do some projects in a friends house, that’s why I’m late.’ I explained, and I wish that she’ll believe me.

My heart was beating so fast, because I know if dad knew this I’m dead. I looked at my mom begging to understand me, then she looks away.

‘next time, call me when your going to be late. I’m your mom so I’m worried.’ She turns around and headed back to her room.

I sighed in relief. God is still w/ me, and I’m glad that I only need 1 story to make her believe.

Its Saturday, and I’m still remembering what happened yesterday. Yesterday was actually one of the worst yet best day ever. Meeting that guy was coincidence, then meeting him again is fate? I guess. I was just happy to know that there is a person who looks at me now, even though I’m a freak, as what yuri is always calling me. And speaking about Yuri, I’m so much lucky that today is Saturday, coz if not, I’m definitely dead now. Not a real dead but, as what happened yesterday when we ditch them in the restaurant, I know it make her freak out for real.

Realizing what Kyuhyun said yesterday, should I change myself? Am I ok w/ the teasing? And, is this life enough for me? So many questions are entering my mind right now, so the best thing to do is to know how to change.

I decided to go on a mall, the same mall we went yesterday,to find some things that might fit, I there is such things. As I’m leaving the bus, a man bump me, then my glasses falls in the ground. Oh crap! I cant see clearly if I don’t have it. Luckily, I was in front of the mall, so I rushed on the nearest eyewear shop.

I was browsing the glasses when a lady came to me.

‘I think, contacts will look better on you. And its also a lot cheaper.’ She said.

Cheaper? That’ll be great! I’m on a tight wallet right now, so I need to buy cheap things, so I decided to have some contacts rather than glasses.

‘oh! That looks good on you.’ She said, praising me.

‘thank you.’ Then I leaved.

I’m looking at the dress shop in front of me, when a small make up shop caught my eye. The color of the shop is pink so it is very eye catching. So I decided to look at it.

The lipsticks are pretty amazing. I wonder what color will fit me. I browsed the lipsticks then, I tried the red one.

‘aww..it looks awful.’ I said.

‘yes it is, why don’t you try this one?’ a manly voice said to me.

I looked at my back, surprised, I rubbed my eyes if I’m just daydreaming.

‘hey I’m real!haha!’ he said. Does he have the power to read minds? This guy is freaking me out.

He hand me his hanky, when I don’t get what he’s trying to say, he puts his arm on my shoulder and then walks closer to my face.

‘this color is not for you, so let me remove it. and I’ll find a better color ok?’ he said, rubbing his hanky on my lips.

I blushed. So I immediately turn around.

‘no, its ok, I’ll find a better color.’ Then I hold the orange colored lipstick. He stopped me. Then he browsed the lipsticks.

‘Hmmmm..i think this will look good on you, why don’t you try it?’ he hand me a baby pink colored lipstick. When I applied it, its awesomely pretty.

How can this man know what will look good on girls. I just wonder. And, didn’t he realize that I’m not wearing my glasses anymore?

Oh, maybe its not a big change at all.
