A/N: This is a SuJu version of the drama Bu Bu Jing Xin. I don't know whether anyone has written one before, if they have let me know, I'd love to read it! I will be sticking to the plot quite closely, I am in no way amazing enough to think up all this, I will change some stuff and add side stories of some characters that I love to bits and wanted developing more. I have no idea why I decided to post this. I think my love for this drama and Kyuhyun one day decided to drive me crazy.
Foreword
Prologue:
Kyuhyun shifted from foot to foot trying to warm himself as he stood waiting for the bus. There was a light smattering of snow and it seemed like it would get colder. Winter was officially here and Kyuhyun was indifferent apart from a vague concern over his heating bill. He hurried onto the bus and thought about what he’d do when he got home, as he stared out the window watching the falling snow – probably what he did almost every night, order takeout and play Starcraft until he fell asleep. Unless he had some left over work he didn’t manage to complete during the day that was basically all he did at home. Eat, game and sleep. He didn’t have any close friends, unless you counted his fellow online gamers (Kyuhyun didn’t), his sister was studying abroad and his parents were always busy, living too far away for him to bother going to visit them regularly anyway. No one bothered him and he was happy like that. He was often too exhausted to socialise, just wanting to go home and relax, so he did. He was lonely but at the same time he wasn’t. He didn’t seem to be able to connect with anyone so he let himself live in the bubble he had created. His apathy to the world and everyone in it was something he hid from his sister, who was already concerned about him. He was close with her but she did have a tendency to overly worry about him, which he thought was characteristic of most older sisters. It was easy to disguise the emptiness of his life because she wasn’t able to visit him in person, they spoke over Skype, he was looking forward to seeing her at Christmas, she hadn’t been home for nearly 2 years and he had missed her more than he would admit to anyone.
The bus stopped at on his street, causing him to hurry off and start to walk quickly towards his apartment building. It was getting colder and he only had a thin jacket on due to him somehow losing his winter coat, he made a mental note to go and buy a new one on his day off. Rushing forwards, intent on getting into the warm he didn’t hear the screech of the brakes as a car slid on a patch of ice on the road behind him, but he did hear the cry of warning from a fellow passerby and swung around to see a car heading right for him. He felt a flash of pain through his whole body before he fell in blackness.
