It has been hours since the surgery has begun and Sehun waited; not once did he got up from his seat to even buy a drink from across the hallway. He didn’t care, he just wanted to know how she is once the doctor stepped right out of the room.

The door swung open and he immediately stood up,

“How is she?!” he panicked

“Calm down son, she’s fine.” the man in his 40’s said “She’s stable and we’re gonna move her out of the ICU tomorrow.”

“Does she remember?”

He looks at Sehun “We’ll know once she wakes up, you should go and have a drink son, you look like you need one.” he pats Sehun’s back and walks away

“She’ll be fine.” Dr.Ahn assures him “She’s a strong girl, you need to believe in her.”

It has been two days since the surgery but not once did Aira woke up or lifted her finger. The doctor said that is she’s still not awake within a week, she might not wake up at all and that scared Sehun to death. Not now, she shouldn’t die, not now…

“Sehun…” Kris and Kai walk inside Aira’s room “You should go home, rest a bit.”

“No, I need to stay here.” he hasn’t gone back to the dorm since the surgery and he only ate fruits at times and drinks some carbonated drink

“Go home, you need to sleep Sehun…” Kris said again

“No, I need to be here when she opens her eyes, when she wakes up, when she…”

“And you will! Do you think she wanna see you in this state? Go home, sleep, rest, eat a lot and come back okay? We’re all worried about you.” Kris pointed out

Sehun looks up and nods slowly “Okay.” he stood up and turns to look at Aira

“She’ll be fine, there’s nurses and doctors around.” Kris reminded and led Sehun out of the room

Kai walks towards Aira as soon as they left; he looks at her ‘sleeping’ figure and his heart aches. His hand reaches out for her as he grasps it and lightly squeezes it… It was cold unlike his. He bent down and kisses the back of her hand; he leans again and places a soft kiss on her forehead.

“Wake up soon… Please.” he whispered

It has been 4 days since the surgery and she wasn’t making any progress. Sehun came to visit her as often as he can but her parents; Mr and Mrs.Cho said he could leave as they could see the pain in his eyes when he sees Aira but he was more than welcomed to stay.
