“Can you move your legs?” Dr.Ahn asks

“Yeah.” Aira nodded

“How many fingers am I holding up?”

“Three.”

“Good. Now stand up and walk from here to the window.” he looks at her

She hesitantly stepped on the floor and walk towards the window “Am I good to go?”

“Yes, just make sure you take the pain killers at times and Aira… Please, make up your mind.” he looks her in the eyes

She smiled at him “I already did…”

She closes the door and Tae Jun stood up immediately,

“What did he say?”

“He said I’m good to go.” Aira smiled and started walking

“What happened earlier?”

“The cancer is affecting my sight and movements but don’t worry. It won’t happen often.” she assured

“Won’t happen often?” he frowns slightly

“Yeah, not to worry.” she waves her hand casually

“Are you going to go for surgery anytime soon?”

She turns around and looks at him “Yeah, just give me a few more days.” she nods

The next day,

“I tried to come as soon as I heard, but we had to attend a music festival.” Sehun said at the second he enters the room “I brought you flowers.” he held them out as Aira puts her book down

“It’s okay, I understand.” Sehun looked sorry “Really I do.” she chuckles

“The others couldn’t tag along, they had to practice.” Sehun walk towards her “Hey…”

“Hmm?”

“I brought this.” he held a basket and smiled widely

“What’s that?”

“I was thinking maybe we could have a picnic.” he shrugs

“I can’t get out of this hospital, they wouldn’t allow me.” Aira purses her lips

“Sometimes…” Sehun took her hand “Rules are meant to be broken.”

They had to make sure the coast was clear in the hallway so that Aira could get out of the floor without being recognized and after a few sneaks; they were able to step out of the hospital without much suspicion.

They arranged the food and drinks on the blanket and Aira couldn’t help but to smile at what was happening. She couldn’t believe that she’s having a picnic with Sehun without forcing him and even if she herself from the future told her past self about this… She wouldn’t believe it.

“What?” Sehun noticed she was staring at him

“Nothing.” she smiled

“I made these you know so I’m not sure if it’s going to taste great.” he rubs the back of his neck
