Aira woke up; she was a light sleeper after all. She hears sounds coming from outside and wondered what it was because it’s still early and people should be asleep right now. She held her head; it feels like it’s so hard to lift it up but she manages to sit at the edge of the bed and walk towards the door; turning the knob.

“When’s the flight?” her mom was already in a formal suit and so is her dad “Morning honey.” her mom turns to her with a smile “Why are you up so early?” she looks at Aira

Aira rubs her eyes “I could ask you the same question omma; it’s four in the morning, what are you guys doing?”

“We’re gonna have to leave earlier than expected; we’ve got some clients to handle in Thailand.” her mom replies

“Flight leaves in one hour; come on honey, we don’t wanna be late.” her dad called from downstairs

“Can’t we just take a private plane?” Ms.Hyun Ju pouted a little

“No honey, I already booked out flight.”

“Well, do you wanna come with us? There’s still time.”

“No thanks omma, I’ll stay here.” she gave a small smile

“Okay then, we’re gonna miss you. I’m sorry we have to leave so soon.” her mom apologized and gave her a tight hug “Wow, you’re warm.” she creases her brows and places her palm on Aira’s forehead “You have a slight fever; make sure you eat medicine.” her mom reminded

“Yes omma, it’s just a fever. Don’t worry.” she rolls her eyes

“Okay then.” she kisses Aira’s forehead “Take care darling, I love you.” she waves a little and rush downstairs

“Bye appa!” Aira waves from upstairs and he waved back; they disappeared from sight as the door closes

Aira went back into her room and head back to sleep; it was difficult to close her eyes at first due to the discomfort that her body feels because the effects of fever. But she drifted off to sleep after too tired of trying to.
