It has already been approximately a week since the little ‘formal party-dinner’ and Aira was glad her parents didn’t ask further about why Sehun didn’t seem like he was comfortable or happy to be there. Either they didn’t notice or they acted like they didn’t. They went back on their usual business exactly on Sunday, starting from the moment they bought their flight tickets. They are busy people and Aira understands them; eventhough her parents were not around most of the times, she received a lot of love from them in so many ways and she couldn’t ask for better parents.

The night wasn’t really that cold; or at least she felt it that way since she was swimming in the pool. She closes her eyes and swam backwards and later sunk her entire self inside the pool, she took a moment to catch her breath and a certain figure made her pull her hair back.

“O-oppa…” her eyes were slightly wide at him

“I take it you’re busy then.” he gave a small smile

“Uh, no no. Of course not.” she walks out of the water and Kai turned around; giving her privacy to put on her robe

“What are you doing here?” she sat down on one of the lounge chairs

“If you’re wondering how, well… Mr.Jang let me in and why? It’s because I haven’t seen you in quite some time, none of us had.” he said

“I’m sorry, things just got busier lately.” Aira shrugs

“Busier? Or is it just because you and Sehun fought?” her eyes shot up “I figured.” his gaze fell down “Did you guys break up?”

“Honestly…” she hesitated “I don’t even know. We’re not even together to actually begin with.” she replied; too casually

“But people around the world think you are and the tabloid didn’t even suspect a thing towards the two of you.” Kai said

“Maybe because there are bigger scandals out there to be told to the world instead; which is good. We could just get off with this slowly.” she shrugs “Well, how’s Sehun?”

“He’s fine, not exactly laughing but not really pissed either. Just living his life as usual.” Kai replies curtly “Hey, are you happy?” he suddenly spoke after a moment of silent

“I’m not happy, nor am I sad. I believe things happen for a reason don’t they?” she forced a convincing smile

Kai’s hand reached for her foot and cups it with one hand “Your feet are cold.” he brushes them gently

“I just swam didn’t I?” Aira chuckled

“Makes me wonder, how could you stand the cold breeze and swim in this middle of night with only wearing a robe outside?” he raise a brow

“One of my talents I guess? I just felt like swimming, that’s all.” she said “Want hot coco?” Aira slides the sliding door

“Won’t my skin become darker?” Kai jokingly cup his own cheeks

“Uh, no?” she made a weird face “Coffee would do the trick.” she chuckles

“Yah…”

“Then do you prefer drinking milk?” she opens the door of the refrigerator

“That… Would be so not manly.” Kai smiled innocently

“Then make up your mind oppa.” she stared at him

“What kind of drink makes me a man to you?” he suddenly ask

“What kind of question is that?” she raises a brow
