“Happy birthday Ryu Hye Ju… Happy Birthday to you…” Sehun finished and place the cake on the bench “Make a wish.” Hye Ju looks at Sehun in the eyes and her eyes sparkled; she closes her eyes and blew the candles “What did you wish for?”

“It’s a secret.” she winks “It won’t come true if I tell people.”

“Tsk, suit yourself.” Sehun cuts the cake into slices

They’re sitting on a mat at an empty playground. It’s 12:30a.m and they are the only ones there.

“Would I ever lie to you?” Sehun pouts slightly

“No.” she laughs and took another bite “It’s delicious, you’re really good.”

“I’m glad you like it.” Sehun looks up at the starry night and close his eyes

“You know, it’s… Sad that we can’t really hang out in the open anymore. We’re only able to do things secretly.” Hye Ju’s voice sounded sad

“Yah… Don’t say that.” Sehun worriedly look at her

“But it’s the truth isn’t it? We can’t hang out cause you already have a girlfriend.”

“She’s not my girlfriend.” Sehun muttered

“Then why are you the only one who’s stating that? Why don’t you tell her that?”

“It’s not as simple as it looks like.” Sehun sighs “She wouldn’t understand.”

“Have you tried to explain?” Sehun was quiet “How would she understand if you didn’t say anything.”

“She doesn’t wanna hear it.” he replies

“Maybe you’re the one who couldn’t say it…” Hye Ju looks away

Hye Ju frowns a little and slowly took the box; she opens it and there stood a bracelet which she thought Sehun would never buy her “S-Sehun… This is…” her fingers brushes over the bracelet “It’s really expensive. I can’t take it.” she pushes it back at him

“No, it’s for you okay? You’ll have to take it whether you like it or not.”

“It’s not that I don’t like it. I mean look at it, I don’t deserve to wear things that costs this much. It probably costs more than…”

“Take it…” Sehun held her hand “Please…?”

Hye Ju look into his eyes and sighs “You know how to make me melt don’t you?” she looks back up “Thank you Sehun…” she wraps her arms around him and pulled him into a hug “I’m glad I get to celebrate my birthday with you…” she nuzzles closer

“Ryu Hye Ju… I love you…” Sehun kisses her hair; she looks up at him and smiled, leaning in… She kisses his cheek and looked away

“I really love the bracelet you know… I didn’t know I would receive something like this someday.” she smiled as Sehun slips it into her wrist “Come on, these foods aren’t gonna finish themselves.” her face was heating up. Sehun held his cheek and smiled at her “What?”
