Aira stirred in her sleep, there was some sort of scent that felt like it was almost devouring her but it smelt nice and she sort of likes it; her eyes slowly flutter open. The lights inside the room were dimmed just as she likes it and when she turns; Tae Jun was there with his eyes closed. He felt something moved and his lips curved upwards into a smile.

“You’re up?” his voice was hoarse

“What time is it?” Aira moved away from him

“It’s… 8:00p.m.” Tae Jun mumbled

“I slept ‘that’ long?” her eyes were wide

“Well, you are sick and it’s also because of the pills.” he rubs his eyes and stood up

“You didn’t leave the room?” she asks

“Nope.” he answers but he actually did; he came back because he knows he can’t hug her this way without a real reason “I’m gonna head to the bathroom first.” he drags himself into the bathroom and shut the door

“I… Smell like him.” Aira sniffed herself and realize his scent was attached to her. After a few seconds he got out “That was fast.”

“Yeah, just washing my face.” Tae Jun sat on the side of the bed “How’s the fever?” he felt her forehead

“It’s cooling down I think; my headache is gone too.”

“That’s good to hear. Hey, where’s your omma and appa?” he asks

“They left to catch an early flight. I didn’t think they’d leave so soon.” Aira looks down “Sehun… He…” Tae Jun looks at Aira’s disappointed face “Sehun doesn’t like me; even a tad bit.” she chuckles half-heartily “What should I do Tae Jun? Should I just give up?” she bit her lip so she won’t cry

“Have you… Cried in front of him?” he asks

“Why?”

“Maybe you should cry in front of him; to see whether he would stop your tears or make them worst.”

“I don’t wanna be a vulnerable girl in front of him; I don’t want him to see that I’d break any moment just because I’m a spoilt 17 year old girl who lives in such a fortunate life but unfortunately the guy I fell for hates me, so much.”

Tae Jun was quiet “Do you love him?”

“W-what?” she looks up to meet his eyes

“Sehun… Do you love Sehun?” Tae Jun looks at her right in the eyes

Aira paused; her lips cracked a small smile “With all my heart.”

Tae Jun’s heart broke right there, right then; Cho Aira doesn’t just fall for someone no matter how spoilt she looks. She’s a strong girl and he knows her for so long that he can’t deny she was definitely… In love.

“Then don’t give it up.” he said

“Hmm?” Aira’s eyes were red; she was holding in her tears

“Don’t give up on him. If you really love him, don’t let him go. Show him how sincere you are; it’s not about status, not for looks, it’s not about popularity or money. Prove him that you love him for himself, just as he is even if he’s just a beggar on the street. Show him… How Cho Aira really loves someone.” he finished with a smile

She chuckles lightly “You think so?”

“Of course.” he curls the strand of her hair behind her ear “He’ll love you…” *Just like I do…* “Hey, I would love to be alone in here with you but…”

Aira rolls her eyes at Tae Jun “But what?”

“I have to go… It’s not good for me to hang out with someone who already has a boyfriend too long; not to mention alone.” he looks around the room

“Hey… We’re best friends right?” Aira pulls his hand

He smiled at her and nods “Yeah… We are.” his heart softens “Take care alright? Eat the medicine. If you don’t, I might come around with a chopper and force you to swallow it.” he eyed her

“I will, don’t worry.” she giggled “Thank you Tae Jun.” she gave an appreciative smile

“Bye…” he shuts the door

He stared emptily at the steering wheel and sigh at the thought he was defeated by Oh Se
