Kai passed through the lobby and grabs a staff’s hand,

“Did you saw Aira walking out of this building?”

“No.” she shakes her head

“Thanks.” Kai mumbled before heading somewhere and then it occurred to him “Oh the rooftop.” he cursed and presses for the elevator “Come on, come on, please don’t do something stupid.” he whispered while glancing nervously at the screen

He dash out of the elevator and ran towards the staircase which leads to the rooftop and push the door open; running up the stairs, his sweaty hands turns the knob of the door and there stood Aira; facing the scenery of the city with both of her hands on the railings.

“Aira…” Kai calls out slowly; his heart was beginning to calm down “Come over here.” he said

Aira let out a low chuckle “You think I’m gonna jump?”

“No, it’s not that…”

“What if I do?” her grip on the railings were tightened

“Don’t, come on… No one’s mad at you. It’s okay, everything’s fine.” Kai slowly walk towards her

“How do you know everything is fine?” she was sobbing quietly “Seh…”

A strong pair of arms pull her back and turn her around to be pulled into his arms; Kai held her close towards him and hugs her ever so tight “Don’t…”

“O-oppa…”

“Don’t say that, Sehun…  Just can’t accept the fact that he can never be with Hye Ju…”

“Why not?”

“He has you, doesn’t he?” Kai whispered against her hair

“Whom he doesn’t want and would like to throw away.” Aira’s gaze fell down

“Only a heartless person would throw such thing away.” Kai her hair

“Why aren’t you mad at me? Aren’t you supposed to be mad at me?”

“Why should I?”

“Because I threat Sehun, are you not gonna ask why?”

Kai slowly let go and held her shoulder; staring into her round and watery eyes “I believe Cho Aira has a logical reason on why she acts as so. Don’t you?”

“So you’re not wondering why?”

“If you want me to know… You would’ve told me. Won’t you?” Kai gave a small smile “Come on, don’t be sad… Where’s that bubbly person I always see?” a tear ran down her cheek “Promise me something… Can you do that?”

“What?” her voice croaked out

“Say that you promise first.” Kai pouts

“Emm.” she nods hesitantly

“Promise that you won’t kill yourself if Sehun falls for you…”

“W-what?”

“Give him some time, I’m sure he’ll fall for you someday. Maybe not now, but we can’t tell the future can’t we?”

“What if he won’t?”

“That’s such a lie then…”

“Why are you so sure?”

Kai gaze into her eyes “Because I know a certain someone that loves Cho Aira for herself…”

“T-Tae Jun?” Aira suddenly blurted out

Kai’s eyes went slightly wide but he ends up laughing “Yeah, I guess we can go with Tae Jun then.” he smiled “Get up, let’s go back inside.”

“I don’t think I can face Sehun anymore…”

“Don’t think of it that way, it’ll be fine. Okay?”

“No, it’s just… Not now, I need to get back home. Can you tell the other oppa that I’m really sorry?”

Kai looks at her and nods “Sure.”
