“It’s okay, enjoy your dinner :)” – Kai

Aira chuckled at the text,

“Ms.Aira, your parents has arrived.” a waitress mentioned

“Very well, thank you.” she nods and walk to the front lobby

“Aira!” her mom held out her hand and she smiled

“How was your trip?”

“It was not that tiring, I’m excited to be here. Is everything going as planned?” she asks

“Yep, they had already set up the table and the food will come in serving. It’s all arranged according to you.” Aira assured

“That’s great!” her mom beamed

“Sehun.” her dad called out and Aira turn to look at Sehun who was walking towards them and hurriedly turned back to look at her parents instead

“Samchon, eemo.” Sehun bowed

“We’re really glad you could make it. I’m pretty sure you had a tight schedule.” her dad smiled appreciatively

“Yes, well we make time don’t we?” Sehun smiled back; a bit forcefully

“I guess we should head to the hall first to make sure everything’s set up and as planned.” they all walk towards the hall but Sehun and Aira didn’t make eye contact or spoke to each other once

The four of them stood in front of the entrance to greet the guests. They were all rich and famous business people who came to celebrate on the Cho’s winning project. Sehun eyed each and every one of them; he could tell they were so different.

“Sang Min!” a familiar man came smiling

“Park Jung Sik.” they gave each other a short hug

“It’s been a while hasn’t it?” a woman who looks beautiful for her age smiled at Aira’s mom “I wonder when was the last time we’ve seen each other Hyun Ju?”

“I couldn’t remember myself, but I’m glad you’re here Ae Yoon.” her mom replies

“Where’s Tae Jun?” Mr.Sang Min looks around

“Over here.” Tae Jun came with a complete tux looking dashing and flawless

“You’ve grown so much Park Tae Jun.” her mom smiled

“Thank you eemo, you look wonderful tonight.” Tae Jun bows towards the both of them

“Aren’t you sweet?” she chuckles

“Help yourselves to the table; we’ll be there in a second.” Aira’s dad gestured

“Sure.” they nod and started walking

“You owe me an explanation.” Tae Jun whispered at Aira and followed his parents

“What did he say?” her mom turns to Aira

“Some thing.” she shrugs

“Tch, am I too old to know about your friendship ‘stuff’?” her mom rolls her eyes and turns back to the guests

All the guests were finally there and everyone settled to their own assigned table. Aira’s appa walked to the stage and took the mike; he smiled towards everyone and they were all looking at him. Seems like everyone knows and respects him.
