Chapter Six

Gigi

I had nothing to do at home. I decided to go online. How long had it been? Two months? Three? Well, I'm the nerd type, not the social type. I headed to my Facebook account. When I signed in, I was surprised to see that I had a friend request. Barely anyone knew me. I had, like, eight friends on my account. When I clicked the notification to look at it, my eyes must've been deceiving me. Lee Taeyoon had added me.

My heart skipped a beat. I couldn't believe it. He actually remembered me?!

I clicked onto his profile. I knew that checking him out was stalker-ish, but I was too curious. Is that what you call it? 'Stalker-ish?' I don't really know, I hear my classmates say it a lot, though. His profile had a picture of someone playing the piano. It looked a little like him. I couldn't tell because his face was hidden. His information was blocked because I wasn't his friend.

I sighed. Might as well add him. . . I clicked on the 'Respond to Friend Request' button. I could feel my heart pounding. Was I . . . crushing on him? I barely even knew him!!! How is it possible to like a stranger?!

Suddenly, Taeyoon's name popped up on the bottom side of the screen. I clicked on it. It was a message:

My heart hammered again. He's talking to me!!!! I typed back.

Me: Hi.

Taeyoon: What r u doing

Me: ....Nothing.

Taeyoon: thanks 4 adding me

me: Sure! :-)
