Taeyoon took a deep breath. Probably to choose his words properly. After 30 seconds, he still hadn't started.
"Speak." I ordered.
He stared at me. " . . .Um, okay then."
I frowned and crossed my arms. I shouldn't have. He looked even more nervous now.
I sighed. "How about I ask you, then? Would that be easier?"
Taeyoon nodded slowly. "Maybe."
"Okay, so let me just straight out say it: Where have you been?" I asked in a slightly angry tone.
Taeyoon gulped. "Uh. . .Uh..."
I continued to stare at him.
"Um . . . uh. . ."
I glared. "Were you cheating on me?! With another girl?"
Taeyoon stepped back in shock. "What?! ANI!!! NO!!"
I sighed. "Then where were you, Taeyoon? Tell me."
He gulped. "Um . . . at work."
"Huh?"
He looked away, playing with his hair. "Well, I got this job. . . and well. . ." He looked back at me. "I really missed you, I really did. I wanted to talk to you. But this job has strict rules. I can't use my cell during work hours. If I even take it out, it'll be taken away. That's why I couldn't reply to your calls, or your texts."
I tried to think around his answer. "What about after work?"
"My friends told me that it isn't polite to call back late at night. I wanted to, though."
"Your friends work with you?" I asked.
He nodded. "Uh. . .ye."
"So. . . the reason why you couldn't contact me was because of work?"
He nodded. "Mianhe."
"You've been working? Where?" I asked.
" . . .Uh. . ." he didn't say anything at first. "The. . .the workshop near my friend's
