Two days had passed since that eventful day, and today, I was going to my first official school day ever.
I've never been to school, to be honest, but I had been included in Eunae's private lessons so many times my knowledge was probably enough not to embarrass myself in front of these people. The one thing I was nervous about though was these people. All those years, I didn't have any other company other than Eunae, and now I was about to be in the presence of so many for a whole day. I wonder what that would do to me. Swallowing all fears and discomforts, I exited my new room and headed to my first class. The school had to give me a new one since the arrogant jerk refused to move out of my original room. I hadn't seen him since then, though. There were only a few people around when I arrived in the classroom. Its seats and desks were built like that of a theater so I settled myself in the backmost part, giving me enough space away from people and the perfect view to observe them. No one bothered me so I busied myself looking at my schedule. Basically, the school had this Performance Evaluation at the end of every semester, and the performances will be based on the major chosen by the school. For this semester, we had acting. I just hope I have enough acting genes in my body. The students eventually piled up, and I could see most of them had been friends in their high school. I listened, as they gushed, giggling to themselves about their luck at picking this schedule. I caught "I can't believe Lu Han is going to be here!", "I heard Kris took this schedule, too!", "Omo, aren't we so lucky? Kyaaa!" I raised my eyebrows at them. I've seen too many movies with Eunae to know what they were doing. I never thought it happened in real life, too. Determined to ignore the nonsense chatter, I turned my attention to the door. Just then, I blinked, hardly believing my bad luck. The arrogant boy strode confidently inside the room and swept the crowd with his eyes. For some reason, I ducked, fearing he would see me; though I doubt if he'd remember me. Suddenly, a familiar voice asked beside me, "Are we playing some kind of game?" I turned and found myself face to face with the strange boy from the bushes. I didn't even see him walked up to the aisle. He grinned at me. "What are you doing?" he asked, mimicking my voice from two days ago. "Ha-ha. Very funny," I told him, but I pretended to search the floor anyway. "Anyway, I dropped my ball pen," I said lamely. "Eh? Let me help you then," he offered without hesitation, searching the floor for my non-existent ball pen. "No, it's fine," I said, stopping his hand in reflex. He raised an eyebrow as he took a glance at my hand on top of his. "What is this?" he asked, his voice teasing. "It's only our second meeting and you're already making moves on me?" I blushed, extracting my hand from his. "I am so not making a move on you." He laughed at my red face. "I got you there. Didn't know you were so innocent at these types of things," he went on, grinning slyly. A giggle escaped my lips and I slapped his shoulder. "Shut up." He stood up, laughing, and then offered his hand to me. I took it and when he pulled me up, I noticed that the students, girls in particular, at the other side of the aisle had suddenly gone quiet and were regarding me with cold eyes. I couldn't help but shiver. "You okay?" the boy who liked to smile asked, lightly touching my arm. I took one last look at the girls before offering a small smile at him. “Yeah, I’m good,” I said as I sat down. He took the seat beside me. “Great, that makes two of us.” I eyed him pointedly for seating
