I watched in contentment as Eunae glided her fingers gracefully along the piano keyboard, the soft melody of her music reverberating from one corner of the room to another. This was her favorite past time and mine was quietly watching her play.   Eunae had always been good to me, sharing whatever she had and telling me what was hers was mine. She had never looked down on me, not even once. She was kind, and beautiful, and talented, but she was also physically weak. Her frail body had limited her in many unfortunate ways. I had watched her get sick so many times when we were younger, making her miss most of her classes, eventually landing herself homeschooled. It was sad not seeing her with her own peers, though she had said once that I was enough company for her.   "You're at it again," a soft voice mused, suddenly pulling me out of my own thoughts. When I looked up, Eunae was looking at me, her head slightly cocked to the side, her eyes inquisitive. "What are you thinking?" she asked, turning in her seat, facing me.   It was only then when I noticed that she had already stopped playing. "Nothing important," I told her simply. I moved to take a seat beside her. "So what happened with your application? Got accepted already?" I asked to divert the topic away from myself.   Eunae's eyes brightened at the mention of the subject. "Not yet, but I will be. I just have to send in my audition tape, I'm pretty sure I'll get in," she said with confidence.   It was one of the things I admired about her. Despite her fragility, she viewed things, no matter how big or small, as something she could easily take on. "That's the spirit. So is it done? Your audition tape, may I see it please?"   "Of course, you can," she beamed. "But I haven't recorded anything yet. I would need your help with that one."   I nodded and stood up. I smiled and hurried my steps.   I returned a minute later, a bright smile already plastered on my face when I opened the door. But the smile erased itself on my face when I saw Eunae, not sitting in front of the piano, but lying on the floor, her arms limped at her side.   "Eunae!" I dropped the camera and rushed to her. I took her shoulders and lightly shook it, but she didn't stir.
