Chapter 7: The Necklace (EDITED)

A month had already passed since Dara first came in Korea. Somehow she’s starting to adapt in this foreign country to hers but then at the thought of her loves one she can’t help but still wants to go back on the first place she loves.

She came on the front door and seems to be very exhausted for the day that she’s been to. “Dara noona! Come and join us!” Eunhyuk shouted excitedly as she walked passed by then and head to the kitchen. Donghae’s friends are having some fun time at the gazebo drinking some liquior. He was with Yunho, Jaejoong, Yoochun, Heechul, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun and Leeteuk.

“What’s your problem?” Jaejoong asked as she followed her in the living area. “What?” she asked not in the mood to talk to him. “Why are you so grumpy?” he asked. “Don’t ask as if we’re close.” She said. Jaejoong flick his fingers on her forehead. “Yah! Why did you do that?!” she asked in surprised and annoyance. She was about to go upstairs but Jaejoong grabs her hand. “Yah! You’re drunk Jaejoong ssi. Stay away from me.” She argued. “Yah! Don’t treat me like that.” He pouted. Aissh. She thought as she thinks about how she ends up talking to this guy.

It was when her necklace is missing and she noticed it when she got home tiredly after her first day of class. She tried to look everywhere and she turned her room upside down but still she can’t find it. It’s the only thing that her mother left to her and she needs to find it no matter what. She then realizes neither what happened the night before she got home but she can’t remember the face of the guy nor where he lives. Donghae came home tiredly as he heard noises upstairs. What’s going on? He thought to himself as he checked Dara’s room and found it open. She flipped her room upside down that way it looks like now. All of her stuff are scattered everywhere. “What happened?” her stepbrother asked worried. “My necklace is missing.” She shouted and scratches head thinking all her might where she dropped or put it. She sits down on the floor, as she got tired of looking for it. It’s nowhere to be found. “What kind of necklace?” he asked her and squat in front of her. Dara reach the picture on her bedside table. It’s their family picture when she was still a baby. She pointed on the necklace that her mom is wearing. It is a heart shape locket. “Where did you go last time? Maybe you lost it on your way.”  He guessed. “I can’t remember. I’m drunk last night.” She answered irritatingly. Seeing her sister looks so devastated he pulled her into a hug and patted her head. She was surprised with his sudden action. He wants to push him but she feels somehow at ease as she cooed her that everything will be all rig
