Chapter 1: Paris, Goodbye (EDITED)

Dara came home tired and was supposed to go upstairs when her dad stop her and ask her to join them for dinner. “Come and sit here.” Her dad demanded. “I’m not hungry.” She said flatly without looking at their direction. “What? Your mom cooked your favorite food.” Her father insisted. “She’s not my mom! And I’m not going to accept her as my mom, okay?” she explained and run upstairs. “Dara!” her dad shouted but her wife put her hands on his to stop him. “It’s okay.” His soon to be wife said calmly.

She banged her door and abruptly lay on the bed putting her headphones into full volume. She can’t help but get mad on his father on marrying another woman after she heard that that woman was his first love. She’s thinking if his father really loves his mom. Her dad opened her door using the keys because he gets tired of knocking on her door. He seated on the empty chair and faced her daughter taking off her headphones. “What?” she glared. “Can you stop acting like a bratt?” Her dad finally said trying to keep his anger. “Pack your bags you’re going to Seoul on Monday.” Her dad said cooly. “I’m not going anywhere.” She insisted. “It’s the 15th death anniversary of your mom next week. You need to see her.” Her dad explained. “And what about you? You’re not going to see her?” she asked. Her dad stands from his seat and was about to leave. “You never love my mom, don’t you? You never love her.” She shouted and was about to tear up. “I loved your mom.” Her dad said without looking at her and left the room.

The house slightly glowed in a fluorescent orange border, attacked by angry flames wiping out the burning house. Inside was a little kid sleeping in her room her mom awakens by the smell of their burning woods. She run to her daughter’s room and saw her in her bed crying and shouting for her name to get some help. She was about to enter her room when a ceiling fell down to her place and caught her.
