Sixteen years of my life, I’ve never knew I’ve got a brother.

I’m starting to hate my life.

“You guys got the wrong girl. I’m definitely not someone’s sister.” I shook my head not believing what 

is happening just right then.

“You’re parents died in a car crash, weren’t they?” Kai asked looking at me intently. The three of us 

were alone in a grand hall.

“Yeah, so?” I looked at him not getting what he means.

“Well, mine died too, in a car crash. And I’ve got a sister. We were separated when we were in 

the hospital. 

You were never to be heard until this day.” Kai explained. Dude, I seriously can’t get you. 

It’s too much for my brain to digest.

“Okay… so I’m your sister but what’s got to do with him?” I asked pointing rudely at Kris.

“Hey, I’m your aunt’s son.” Kris said offended. Oops, sorry. I didn’t know about that.

“Seriously? I’m related to you? Damn it, I hate this life.” I covered my face with my palms.

“Is it that bad to be related to me?” Kris asked feeling deeply offended. Kai chuckled watching 

the two of us.

“It’s just… weird. And too much,” I answered regaining my composure.

“Okay, so we’ve got this thing straight, let’s get to work, then.” Kai announced putting both hands 

on the table and started the computer, checking documents I guess.

“Wait, I’ve got a question,” I said raising my hand while the two looked at me with irritated looks.

“Go ahead,” Kai spoke.

“Um, if you guys are working on something, then why is it that Kris keeps asking me for you?” I asked. 

Kai scoffed uncomfortably, Kris hit his head with a book.

“Explanation please,” I said again.

Kris cleared his throat and said, “Because your stubborn brother here didn’t want to accommodate 

until he found the guts to tell you that you’re his sister and only start the job which is kinda near the due 

date and almost ruined everything.” He eyed Kai a glare while Kai just shrugged before continuing saying something even 

worst, “so, welcome to the club, you. You’re one of us, now.” Kris smiled devilishly. Kai smirked.

God, help me, please.

“No way! Are you two crazy or what? I’m not gonna kidnap someone!” I exclaimed after listening to their 

overly insane plan.

“You’re in the team now, sweety. Join the fun,” Kris said laughing. Kai kicked him. “Damn you Kai. Is 

that how you treat your hyung?”

“Forget about him, look you, if you don’t want to do this, we won’t force you. I’m sorry if we’re being too 

pushy about this.” Kai said to me in a serious tone.

I countered on what he’d said. Thinking. Should I or should I not?

The two of them watched me as I made up my mind.

“Arasso,” I smirk at them.

“So, I’m supposed to be friends with her and that’s it?” I confirmed as I sat in between them, in a black 

limousine. 

We were heading to see his dad. The black mansion is Kris’s owned. The place we’re going Kris’s parents 

owned.

Ugh, so many property while I’m living in a shabby little apartment.

“Yup, sweety,” Kris said as he put his arm over my shoulder and was about to kiss me. Kai shoved him and 

pulled me away from him.

“Okay, okay, I surrender. You’re pretty overprotective of her.” Kris chuckled while Kai glared at him.

So, I sat opposite of them instead, to be clear.

“It’s good to finally meet you, you.” My uncle greeted.

“Good to see you too, uncle.” I replied smiling.

We had dinner and dessert. Uncle, aunt and I did the most talking. In fact Kai and Kris were very quiet.

For Kai, it was normal but for Kris, it was… unusual.

Then we were all going to stay overnight there by my insistent aunt.

My room was big. I mean it’s as big as my whole apartment.

I tossed and turned in my bed.

The bed was soft and luxurious but I still had difficulty in sleeping. The events of the day were the reason 

of keeping me up, I guess.

I finally decided to creep downstairs to see the golden retriever that I met earlier. The dog’s so cute. 

I love dogs.

“What are you doing up so late?” a voice was heard and I turned to see a very handsome, y Kris in 

a bathrobe walking towards me.

“Can’t sleep,” I said briefly as I turned my attention back to the adorable dog.

“A beauty like you needs beauty sleep,” he said ily into my ear as he wrapped his arms around me.

I tensed by the sudden closeness. If it was Sehun, I wouldn’t think twice and gave him a little peck on 

his lips but this was someone else.

I was about to shove him away when he caught me and my lips were trapped in his.

As he deepened the kiss, his hands massaged my back. It felt so good to be wanted that I couldn’t 

help but tilted my head and kissed him back.

We finally broke apart staring into each other’s eyes.

“I think I’d better get to bed, goodnight.” I said in a rushed, feeling my cheeks growing hot, and walked 

away as fast as I could.

And he let out a soft chuckle which made my stomach do a somersault.
