"Sungmin-ah, could you get me a cup of coffee?"

Sungmin heard his mother call when he passed by her room.

"Ne, umma!"

Kyuhyun waited for his brother to leave the room before he knocks the door. 

"Come in, Kyuhyun." Kyuhyun slowly opened the door and entered. Mrs Cho is typing on her laptop, not ignoring her son at the door. "Anything, son?

"I... want to ask about... Sungmin."

"Whatever about your brother?" 

"I believe knowing Sungmin was not as simple as an accident, umma." Kyuhyun took a deep breath and continued. "I want to know the truth."

"How do you know, Mr Logic?" Mrs Cho let out a small laugh and asked.

"He resembles Chu."

Mrs Cho stopped her work and finally lifted her head, looking straight into her son's eyes. "Chu?"

"Sungmin. His name is the same, same for his age, birthday, hobby, everything. That bunny, which he owns, I gave him that as a present."

"........" The woman looked back at her computer in complete silence until Kyuhyun talked again.

"No-one could ever be as alike. Chu's sudden absence is most suspicious, umma. For the last ten years I spent my whole free time searching for him. Now it seems like his finally showed up. In my house."

Kyuhyun walked closer to his mother's desk. "Until the last few days when Eunhae and Cloud hyung came over. Jongwoon hyung said about... this brainwashing group hanging around our neighbourhood sometime around his absence."

The next moment was so silent until Mrs Cho spoke a shocking sentence.

"Yes. Sungmin was a victim."

Kyuhyun's eyes opened wide as someone outside flinched as he heard the conversation behind the ajar door.

"There were so many other children to choose from, I knew that you wanted to have a brother like Sungmin, so I bought him. "

"You... what?" Kyuhyun froze. His brother... was bought to entertain him. His lover was bought to cheer him up after he lost his supposed-to-be-happy childhood. He prayed silently in his heart Sungmin won't know anything about this, but it was all too late. Sungmin pushed the door open and held the mug with his strongly trembling hands as he walked slowly to his mother's table and placed the drink on the messy table.

"Your... coffee, umma..." Sungmin said softly, sniffing a bit as he walked out of the room with his eyes stuck to the floor. As he left the room, Kyuhyun glared at his mother and left a sarcastic sentence before he stomped out of the room.

"I don't want a toy, thanks."

As Kyuhyun went out of the room, he searched for his brother everywhere in the house, but he is nowhere to be seen. He called one of the servants. "You've seen Sungmin?"

"He left the house right before you left Ma'am's room, sir."

"WHAT?!" Kyuhyun froze. According to the past actions Sungmin will do as a kid...

He's running away from home.

It was supposed to be longer, but before I wanted to upload it someone skyped me and I had to minimize the window, which my hand slipped and I clicked on a deadly red-coloured cross...
