Chapter 7.2 ~

[Seunghyun’s POV]

Damnit. I’m getting late.

*time pass*

“Binnie!” she had her back turned to me but I could envisage the expression she must have on her face. Even from her back, she looked graceful.

I slowly walked up behind her. I don’t think she sensed my presence so I slowly s my arms around her.

“Hi Binnie!” she was quiet…too quiet. I started to worry so I turned her around to face me.

She was expressionless.

“What’s wrong? Why is the birthday girl so sad?”

“I’m not sad  , I was just thinking about the past and how I met all the people so important to me. Thinking how lucky I am, I really am grateful. Especially to you and Sunye who treat me like family.”

“That’s all?” I hugged her tight. Of course we would treat her like family. Me and Sunye love her so much, who wouldn’t?

“Thanks, for everything and anything you two have ever done for me.” She looked up and smiled.

“Sure…Now let’s go on our date!”

“Hold your horses jeez Seunghyun!”

“Sorry sorry. But I only want smiles and laughter on our date, so no tears and no frowns.”

“Choi Seunghyun, you are the cheesiest guy I have ever met.” 

“But you still love me?!”

“Of course I do,” she blushed at her own comment.  We started to walk out of the church hand-in-hand. 

“Hey Yoobin?”

“huh?”

“A pink sheep?” I shook my head. “Marshmallow!”

“Whatever you say Binnie,”  *laughs inside his head*

“Seunghyun?”

“Hmm?”

“What’s white and red?”

“…….. O_________O” Don’t use my jokes against me!

“Haha just kidding Mr. Pink Fluff.” 

*TIME PASS*

“…” She looked somewhat worried. “Seunghyun?”

“Yeah?”

“We’re spending our date here?”

“Yeah.”

[Yoobin’s POV]

I stared at the children’s park that stared back at me. Seunghyun walked to the trunk of “his” car (he has a motorcycle so he borrowed his parents car after dropping Sunye), and took out a basket. He ran back to me and grabbed my arm.  We found a spot under a tree, in the shade.

“So Binnie, what do you think about a picnic?”

“Sounds like a plan to me,” I replied back.

“I’m sorry it’s not the best I can do, but I didn’t know what you would want on your birthday, besides me of course.”

“Well then, this is perfect,” it really is. This birthday, all I wanted was some time alone with Seunghyun. 

“Okay, let’s eat! I’m starving.”  I couldn’t help but laugh at his childish behavior. 

“After eating, we played on the swing set for a while. Yes, we played like all the other little kids. It was enjoyably worth it.

I felt the breeze against my cheeks as Seunghyun pushed me on the swings. I inhaled like it was my last breath but in reality I felt like it was the first breath of my life. Even when the sky’s falling, I promise…I’ll never let you go. [Park Bom - You & I?]

*ring ring* (Seunghyun’s stupid phone)
