CHAPTER 13 ~

[3rd Person POV]

                “What the hell? What revenge?” Seunghyun whispered. Yoobin quickly shushed him before Sunye could hear him again.

                “So you know about Yoobin?” Sunye was shocked and confused all together.

                “Wha-” Yoobin clamped her hand over her boyfriend’s mouth, while her other hand covered her own. She saw Jiyong and Sunye look around. They had nearly been caught.

                “Uh.” Sunye turned her attention back to Jiyong. “Yeah. I. Know about Yoobin unnie.” She tried to hide the fact that she was clueless; however, the confusion, she believed, was still evident in her voice.

                “What the hell do these two know about me that I don’t?” Seunghyun shrugged his shoulders, suddenly uncomfortable that his girlfriend was now the subject of the argument.

                “Well, since you know, I guess there’s no point in hiding it,” he lowered his voice. He was now hovering over her with his lips almost touching her ears. Failing to notice her shivering from the lack of personal space, he continued, “But you better not open your mouth…especially to Yoobin.” If Sunye was scared earlier, she was terrified now. This guy is openly threatening her and even if he isn’t, that’s how she feels.

                Mustering up the courage, she pushed Jiyong away and in the sternest voice she could come up with, she questioned further. “And why would I listen to you and keep this from Yoobin unnie?”

                “Because Yoobin doesn’t need to know. And if you open your mouth, you will regret it. You of all people should know I’m not kidding.” Again with his threats, but Sunye was not about to back down until she knew her part.

                “I don’t get it. Just tell me why you won’t tell her what you told me,” she was getting impatient. However, both were oblivious to the fact that Yoobin was a nervous wreck and was reaching her limit. She was about to explode from holding in all of the questions.

                “Yoobin is with Seunghyun now. And even though I’m still mad at the way things turned out, doing something about them now might make Yoobin hate me. And that is not a risk worth taking.” The light bulb finally went off in Sunye’s head. ‘Oh my god! This psychotic dragon is in love with my Yoobin unnie!’ She covered her gasp.

                “What the hell is this baboon babbling about? Yah, Yoobin-” Seunghyun noticed the guilty expression on his girlfriend’s face. “Oh my god-don’t tell me-”

                “Yah! I’m still going to tell her!” Sunye was sure she was right but she still didn’t know where she fit into this mess and she was determined to pull the truth out of him.

                “Yah! Don’t you feel the least bit of guilt towards me?”

                “Why would I feel guilty?”

                “It’s your fault to begin with! Don’t you remember what happened 2 years ago on my birthday?” She shook her head, hoping he would elaborate. Instead, he just sat down on the bench that was previously occupied by her. He patted the empty space next to him, motioning for her to join him. Sunye was frozen in spot for a while. Was Kwon Jiyong actually being sincerely nice to her?

                “Hurry up and sit down so he can start!” Yoobin was about to knock him out for almost getting them caught for the 3rd time.

                Sunye slowly joined him on the bench after studying his expression. Slowly, recovering from the slight shock, she waited for him to continue.

                “It was my birthday and we went to Yoobin’s favorite club to celebrate. You and hyung were there too. As soon as we walked in, Yoobin saw you at the bar, wasted.” Sunye almost protested but she remembered that Jiyong is probably the only one who knows the whole story. “So while she went to get hyung, I went over to the bar to give you a piece of my mind.” He was definitely getting angry again just talking about it.

                Sunye shifted uncomfortably on the bench. Seunghyun and Yoobin listened intently behind the bush. Yoobin pouted trying to remember what exactly happened that night. Once it finally hit her, she let out a gasp making Seunghyun look at her skeptically.

                “Did you hear something?” Sunye heard it. And right away she recognized her unnie’s voice saying ‘Oh my god.’ But if she told Jiyong, he wouldn't tell her the rest of his tale so she just denied it. “Sorry that was me. I really don’t remember that night so this is like a shock,” he nodded in response and continued. ‘This guy is so bipolar,’ the 3 people who made up his audience thought.

                “Anyway, I can’t believe you were drunk in club. You were underage at that time weren’t you?” she shrugged. ‘What the hell was I doing at a club?’ she wondered.

                “!” Yoobin sent Seunghyun a death glare. He started whispering to her and she stared in shock, clamping in the process.

                “So, some guy was hitting on you. You’re lucky I was there.” She rolled her eyes. “So I practically saved you from the ert and you forced your lips onto me! And in front of Yoobin too! And you know what, that was the night Yoobin said ‘yes’ to hyung. So yeah, it’s all your fault!” He got up from the bench only to be roughly pulled back down by Sunye.

                “Are you saying that I didn’t lose my first kiss at the party this past weekend? Oh my f’ing god! Kwon Jiyong!” he covered his ears.

                “Yah! Stop yelling at me, that was all you. You’re the one that stole my first kiss 2 years ago. You owe me!” Sunye’s anger suddenly subsided and was replaced with an incredulous look before she burst out laughing. Jiyong returned her look with a glare. “This isn’t funny Min Sunye!”

                “She finally regained control and placed a hand on his shoulder. “Oppa, you had your first kiss when you were nineteen? Didn’t you tell me a senior girl kissed you in your freshman year?” she started laughing again.

                “That wasn’t a lie!” he responded almost too quickly. “But she just pecked me on the lips for less than a second.” Sunye stopped laughing, her cheeks turning a crimson red color. He was obviously pointing out that their kiss lasted longer than a second. “So it didn’t really count,” he mumbled.

                “Pfft. Man, Jiyong, you told me that senior was the one who taught you how to kiss,” Seunghyun and Yoobin finally approached the two blushing students. Jiyong looked horrified at the sudden appearance of Yoobin.

                Sunye turned to Jiyong, “For what it’s worth, I really am sorry. I hope you’ll forgive me oppa. Things haven’t been the same since then and now that I know the reason behind it, I hope we can work things out. She glanced at her unnie and left, dragging Sunghyun by the ear.
