[3rd Person POV]

“So, you sure you’re not fretting about the whole Sunmi thing?” she nodded as she sipped the coffee in her hands.

“Seunghyun oppa! I think you got our orders mixed up! This isn't my Americano,” she said while reaching for the cup in his hands. She handed him the sweet mocha she had unwillingly tasted seconds ago.

“Americano?” he imitated her with an accent. “Jo-ah jo-ah jo-ah,” he elbowed her while wiggling his eyebrows and singing. She laughed at his dorkiness. “Hey Sunye, you’re always so crazy about sweet things like chocolate, so why do you like such bitter coffee?” he blew into the cup that was now in his hands. She shrugged. “Hey, so about what happened today, are you okay? I mean, I guess I really shouldn't have left you alone that night. I remember how Yoobin and I had to tow you to the taxi…And Jiyong…I had no idea why he suddenly started being mean to you since then but I didn't really question it. Now that I think about it, it was really odd. He didn't talk to me for a week after that incident but I think I understand now.”

“Oppa, Jiyong and I are on good terms again so can we please not talk about it?” she glanced at him from the corner of her eyes. “By the way, I think it’s best if we never mention what happened that night.” Seunghyun nodded in agreement.

“Passengers arriving from L.A. will exit at Terminal C,” the announcement over the intercom caused Sunye and Seunghyun to spring to their feet. Seunghyun grabbed the, now empty, cup from Sunye’s hand and walked over to the trashcan, tossing it in before running to catch up with her.

“Hey, do you think hyung is still the bully he was 7 years ago?”

“He’s your brother. As far as I’m concerned, I’m not going to get my hopes up and believe for one second that they've matured in any way,” she spouted with confidence as they stood in front of the terminal exit. Seunghyun nodded in agreement.

They continued to chat as they recalled childhood memories about how mean their brothers were before they left. They were so engrossed in their conversation that they failed to notice the two men, one in a hat and the other in shades, approach them until the one in the hat rammed both of their heads together.

“Ah! Oppa!” Sunye whined while rubbing her head.

“I told you he’d still be a bully,” Seunghyun whispered in her ear.

“Taebin oppa!” She pushed Teddy out of the way before hugging Danny.

“Hey Sunshine. You’ve grown prettier. So, are you and Seunghyun together yet? Or are you guys dating other people,” Teddy teased while making eye contact with Seunghyun through the rearview mirror.

“Taebin oppa, Sunmi didn't come with you?” Sunye ignored Teddy’s taunting.

Danny turned around in the passenger’s seat. “Sunmi?” he questioned. “She hasn't contacted you?” Sunye shook her head. Teddy strung his arm around Sunye’s shoulder, listening to the conversation intently. “Sunmi arrived this past weekend. Hmmn. I guess she’s staying with her friend.” Seunghyun caught Sunye’s glum expression in the mirror. “Wait until you meet her. You probably won’t recognize her right away but she really looks like your sister Sun.” Teddy nodded in agreement. Sunye was once again feeling insecure about her relationship with Sunmi but she decided to shrug it off.

Teddy ruffled her hair affectionately. “Hey kid, what have you been up to? I heard you started college. How is it? See any boys you like?” She rolled her eyes at his curiosity.

“Oppa, I just talked to you a few months ago…and told you ‘what I was up to’ and that it didn't involve boys,” she hissed when a sudden smirk emerged from her lips. She got closer to Teddy's face, studying him carefully. Grabbing his chin, she turned his face to the left first and then to the right. “What about you oppa? Your face has gotten brighter. Did you meet someone?”

He sat back in his seat with his arms folded. Danny laughed from the front. “Sunye, that is the brightness of a man just recently dumped.” Seunghyun and Taebin high-fived each other. Sunye shook her head at them. Teddy was always the bully but Seunghyun and Taebin would always gang up on him every chance they got. Teddy was now sulking.

Sunye patted him on the shoulder. “It’s okay oppa. I think you were meant to find a girl here in Korea.”

“See Sunshine, that’s why you’re my favorite.” He smiled and put his arm around her again, sticking his tongue out at the two boys in the front. ‘Yup, they really haven’t matured at all,’ Sunye thought to herself.

[Sunye’s POV]

“Umma! I’m home,” Teddy oppa ran in with his arms open. I helped Seunghyun with the bags and we trailed behind.

“Hongjun ah! Taebin ah,” Choi umma yelped as she hugged and kissed both of them. “You boys will be staying over with Sunye and Seunghyun so get settled in, freshen up, and come over for dinner.” We lugged the bags over to my house and I handed Taebin oppa his luggage which he then carried up the stairs.

“Minnie, where’s *halmeoni?” [*grandma]

“She staying over with Choi Umma for the time being. She was really sick recently so Seunghyun oppa’s mom is taking care of her.”

“She’s okay though right?” I only nodded slightly. “Don’t stress too much kiddo. I’ll call Sunmi tomorrow.” I nodded again. Teddy oppa walked past with his luggage.

“So Sunshine, where are you going to take your beloved oppa out to?”

“Sorry oppa, I have school tomorrow. You can come with me if you want to score a college girl,” I suggested playfully, expecting him to decline the offer. But of course, it’s Teddy we’re talking about.

“Sounds like a plan,” he winked in satisfaction.

[The next morning]

“Hey Sunye, wake up. I made breakfast. There’s bacon, omelets, and baked beans. Hurry, before they disappear!”

“Choi Seunghyun, when did you learn to cook? And why would the breakfast disappear? Are you wearing a speedo?” she bombarded with questions.

“I learned to cook when we got married and if you don’t hurry, the Mad Hatter will steal the food and take it to the Red Queen because she only eats my food, cause you know, I’m the best cook in the land. And yes, this is a speedo. It’s the uniform for all the men, remember?”

*beep beep beep*

“Oh my god!” Sunye sprung up in her bed, covered in cold sweat. It was just a dream.

“Oh you’re up, good,” Taebin peeked through the door. “Your lovely oppa made bacon, omelets, and baked beans. Hurry before they’re gone.” O_O

“Why, does the Red Queen only eat your food?” I was actually scared of what his answer would be. I swear, my nightmare better not become a reality.

“What?! No? Just hurry before the Choi siblings gobble it up. Are you okay?” Oh, thank god.

“Yeah sorry, I just had the weirdest dream.”

“Okaay. Get ready and come down.”

“Yeah, I’m coming,” he turned around to leave. “Oppa?”

“Yeah?”

“Are you wearing a speedo by any chance?”

“What?! Yah, Minnie, are you feeling okay? What kind of dream did you exactly have? It wasn't something rated was it?” he accused. Jeez, why did I even ask? “You’re asking such outrageous questions.”

“Nothing. Sorry, I think I’m not fully awake yet. I’ll be down in 15 minutes.”

Seunghyun, Taebin, and I walked outside, only to be greeted by Teddy and his new Aston Martin. “Woah! That car is hot!”

[Okay, so technically, 2-seater right? Just pretend there's 2 seats in the back]

“I knew you’d like it Sunshine. Since we’re planning on staying for quite a while, I thought I should get us a reliable mode of transportation.”

“I love it! Seunghyun oppa’s motorcycle was exhilarating, but I can’t wait to see the look on everyone’s face when we arrive in this baby. I call shotgun!” I ran to the passenger’s side.

“Okay, enough chit chat. Let’s get you kiddos to school.” We all got into the luxury vehicle and I literally spazzed about what a beauty she was until Teddy oppa brought up an unforeseen topic. “So Sunshine, I hear you dig speedos.” 

My face turned beat red and I was frozen on spot.

“Taebin oppa!!!” Seunghyun was also laughing.

“What? I thought it was funny.” I crossed my arms and sulked in my seat. Jeez, I can’t even enjoy this car ride anymore.

“Hey Minnie Mouse, who exactly did you see in a speedo in that dream?”

“Seunghyun oppa,” I stated simply.

“What?!” he exclaimed rather loudly.

“But let me tell you, that whole dream was beyond my understanding. What I mean is, Seunghyun oppa actually cooked food in my dream. And it was so good that the Mad Hatter would come and steal it for the Red Queen. Random, I know. And yeah, Seunghyun oppa would never wear a speedo.” That should satisfy their intrusiveness of my dream.

“So did you actually see his body in just a speedo?” Leave it to Teddy to drag on a topic for a whole car ride. Seunghyun must be blushing in his seat. Sure shot. He’s very conscious of his body.

“No,” I lied. “He had an apron on, cause he just cooked the best breakfast ever, remember?” Actually, he was in a speedo, just a speedo. But I am not going to tell them that and risk being teased for the rest of the week. Plus, I don’t want to put Seunghyun in an awkward position, especially after what happened last time.

“Okay, fine. Let’s go meet Hyunnie’s girlfriend and check out some college girls.” We arrived in the school parking lot drawing numerous envious eyes.

I rolled my eyes at Teddy as I closed the car door. He will never change, until he gets married maybe.  And neither will the people at this school. All the guys had their eyes glued to the car while the girls drooled over the new faces. I saw Yoobin quickly approaching us. My first thought was that she would skip past me and greet Seunghyun first, out of habit you know. However, to my surprise, she gave me a tight hug and whispered something in my ear.

“Sunye. I’m really sorry about the big misunderstanding between you and Jiyong,” she said in a muffled voice.

“Don’t worry about it unnie,” I replied while hugging her back. “Oppa and I are on good terms again.” I let go of her and gave a reassuring smile.

“And which oppa are we referring to here?” Taebin questioned as he strung an arm over my shoulder.

“Oh nothing oppa. I want you guys to meet my favorite unnie.”

“Don’t mind if I do,” Teddy strode over and winked at Yoobin who raised an eyebrow in curiosity at the unfamiliar faces, which is odd, considering that she’s been dating Seunghyun for a while. I thought she would recognize them from all of the pictures in both of our houses.

“Yah hyung, don’t flirt with my girlfriend!”

“This is your girlfriend?! Teddy yelled while Seunghyun nodded proudly.

“Nice to meet you Yoobin-sshi,” Taebin stuck his hand out for a proper greeting.

“Hey, how did you get so lucky with the ladies?” he probed further while glancing at Yoobin from head to toe.

“Hyung~” Seunghyun whined. “Stop checking out my girlfriend.”

“It’s actually all thanks to Sunye here that we got together-” Yoobin answered.

“Don’t you think you guys should be thanking me instead for getting you guys together?” I couldn't help but laugh. Jiyong was actually asking for credit for getting Yoobin and Seunghyun together. And in a way, he was pretty much right. It was kind of sad. Taebin looked at me quizzically.

“Hey Minnie Mouse, who’s this?” Teddy asked while slamming his shoulder into mine. I rubbed the spot that now felt bruised.

“This is Jiyong oppa. And oppa, this is Teddy oppa and Danny oppa. They’re my-” Taebin quickly stuck his hand out to Jiyong to introduce himself, cutting me off.

“We’re actually just here for the time being,” he responded curtly.

“Yeah, you could say we’re old friends who grew up together,” Teddy added. Seunghyun and I looked at each other skeptically.

“Nice to meet you hyungs,” Jiyong bowed. “I’m also an old friend of Seunghyun hyung and Sunye. Although, I have to say, you two look awfully familiar. Is it possible that I've seen you somewhere before?”

“Oh! My two oppas are actually part of a hip hop group called 1TYM,” I couldn't help but brag.

“Ah! Now I remember. I attended a concert while I visited the U.S. with my dad. You guys have some pretty dope !” Hard to believe and correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Jiyong is fangirling.

Teddy’s face changed immediately and he looked genuinely elated. “Thanks man. I produce everything myself.” He started to walk away with his arm around Jiyong’s shoulder. Seems like Teddy likes Jiyong already.

“That kid is too well-dressed for a college student.” And I guess Taebin is not so fond.

I looked at Jiyong’s wrinkle-free khakis and blue blazer. It was neat yet stylish. But, then again, Jiyong has always been fashionable. That’s how he gets girls. He doesn't lack money or connections. I don’t know if it’s a hobby, future profession, or he was just born a fashionista.

“Hey Sunshine, don’t you have to get to class?” Oh yeah, crap! I fumbled with the books in my hand. I can’t believe everyone left without us! “Here, I’ll carry your books. You lead the way.” Don’t I have the best brother in the world?

When we entered the classroom, I realized the professor was already there. Taebin oppa pushed my head down to make me bow. “Sorry we’re late.” Ugh, this is why I hate coming in late. Everyone is watching us with hawk eyes, or at least it feels that way. Talk about 'spotlight effect'. I guided Danny to a seat in the back since my usual seat in front was occupied. He set the books on my desk and whispered in my ear, “I’ll see you at lunch okay?” I nodded before he disappeared down the hall.

Yeeun turned in her seat and all I could understand was “who” and “hottie.” I must have looked like an idiot cause I couldn't comprehend what she said. Regardless, our teacher finally turned around and began her lecture. Another boring day.
