Library
The Girl With Teal Headphones*Bolded italic is English
Chunji had dragged along Ljoe to the Library since Chunji had to cram for his literature final at the college they both went to. "Come on dude!" Chunji wined as he kept pulling his arm. Ljoe rolled his eyes. "You're awesome at English so help me!" He wined.
"I haven't spoken english in what... years?" Ljoe frowned. "What makes you think I still can speak it fluently?" Chunji pouted. "Your aegyo makes you ugly."
"YAH!" Chunji yelled stopping. Ljoe pulled away from his friend's grasp and rubbed his wrist. "I bet if YooJin heard that she wouldn't forgive you." Ljoe stared at Chunji for a second.
Hear? Ljoe thought. Chunji-yah, she's deaf. He closed his eyes bringing his hand to the back of his head then started walking. "Whatever." Chunji's jaw dropped and he watched his back, but not after Ljoe turned to him. "Are you coming with me?"
"Where?" Chunji blankly asked tilting his head. Ljoe scoffed.
"The library of course. Idiot." Ljoe smirked before walking away again.
"Y-yah!" Chunji yelled running after him.

Herro? SeoYoung said at me, I had a stifled laugh staring at her lips. My name issu... SeoYoung. She pointed to her journal. WHY IS ENGLISH SO HARD! She whispered loudly. I looked around to see if any of the librarians were around. But I guess not. Jenny! Help me!! She pouted.
"Say Hello". I said." The L should be pronounced like molla." I pointed out as I was writing the romanized version of molla. "MoLLa. HeLLo." I said.
Hello. She said slowly. I nodded my head.
"And don't say issu." I chuckled. Her cheeks went pink. "It's just is. My name IS. " SeoYoung nodded then placed her head onto the table with a heavy sigh. "You have a month to get down some basic english."
Which is why my fluent deaf best friend is going to help me! She laughed. I rolled my eyes. It suprises me how you only lived in America for... what 5 years and caught onto english lips. She pinched my cheeks happily.
"Blame my parents." I said flipping through a comic I found. "They'd never speak korean when I was there." SeoYoung smiled. "So what's your American name going to be?"
American? She said slowly. Sophie! She smiled clapping her hands.
Suits her perfectly... I thought to myself. "It's nice." I said shrugging, her jaw dropped making me laugh. "Let's move onto actions." I said taking her journal and starting to write down some english with korean translation under it. SeoYoung bit her lips from what I saw. "You'll be fine." I said.
I know. She said in english perfectly. I couldn't help but smile at her. SeoYoung turned to her ipod then chuckled. Remember when we watched MBLAQ speaking english videos? I couldn't help but laugh when she mentioned it. Mir and his waffles! She literally laughed out loud and she shut up immediately. I guessed she was shushed.
"Better english than you." I said shrugging. She gaped and I handed her the journal. "Practice those while I go get us coffee."
Are you getting it from that one cafe down the street? She pointed out. I nodded my head. Get me a peppermint mocha! I smiled before walking away. She smiled then frowned at her journal. "W-would you likeu..." She sighed heavily.

"Can you even introduce yourself?" Ljoe asked as the two got infront of the library. Chunji paused.
"Hi! My name issu Chanhee..." His voice trailed off and Ljoe facepalmed before pushing his friend into the library. "I'll find us a place to sit." Chunji smiled. Ljoe looked at the seats.
"Seems pretty packed today." Ljoe said staring then he noticed a couple free seats where one girl was sitting. Isn't that SeoYoung? He thought. "Go ask that girl if we can sit at her table?" He pointed out.
"Oh that girls cute." He smirked hitting Ljoe's chest. Dude I swear if that really is SeoYoung I will kill you. Ljoe gave Chunji a look before walking into the Literature section to find him some books. "If she's here I wonder where YooJin is." He said to himself. "Counseling?" He tilted his head curiously.
He walked passed the Literature second after carrying a couple books. He was in a different languages section. "Sign Language." He read. Sign language? He thought he took the book and placed it onto the ground before heading over to Chunji who seemed to be having a funny conversation with SeoYoung.
"There you are!" Chunji said as Ljoe plopped the heavy books in front of him. "A-are these for me?" He said scratching his neck. Ljoe just nodded.
"Such a strict friend." SeoYoung laughed. Chunji puffed his cheeks. "Hi. I'm SeoYoung." She held out her hand to Ljoe. Ljoe nodded. "And your Byunghyun right?" He was a little shocked but nodded.
"This is YooJin's friend." Chunji pointed out the obvious.
"No kidding..." Ljoe said slowly. SeoYoung chuckled before looking down at her notes. "Are you learning english too?" He asked.
"Yeah." SeoYoung laughed. "I'm going overseas in a month for an intership so." She let her voice trail. Ljoe nodded.
"Well I'll be over there." He said before quickly leaving, hoping a librarian didn't move the book he had placed onto the ground.
"Oh... so that's him..." SeoYoung said with slight interest. Chunji couldn't help but feel a little jealous. But he didn't understand why. "Let's help each other." SeoYoung said shocking Chunji as she suddenly disappeared and plopped into the seat next to him.
"W-what?" Chunji stuttered.
"You and I are learning english." She stated. "Let's help each other, since YooJin seems be taking her sweet time with the coffee." Then she looke dup. "I should tell her to get extra." She chuckled.
"You're strange." Chunji laughed. SeoYoung stuck her tongue out in an uncaring way. She put her phone away then back at Chunji who was looking at her journal. "W-would you likeu...." His voice trailed off.

Why would SeoYoung tell me to buy two extra coffees? I thought to myself as I was staring at the bag of snacks I bought as well on my way back. She owes me. I frowned before struggling to open the library door. When I came through I noticed SeoYoung giggling with someone. That red hair... I thought. Oh it's Byunghyun's co-worker. "Here." I said placing the coffee lightly onto the table then the bag of snacks with a thud. SeoYoung flinched upwards.
H-hey! She smiled. Jenny you know Chanhee right? She gestured to Chunji who was waving.
"Byunghyun's coworker?" I questioned nodding my head.
His best friend. Chunji pointed out. I just nodded my head and Chunji smiled. So you're the one who speaks fluent english. So does Ljoe. I tilted my head. Ljoe? Then I nodded before walking away. "She's not very talkative is she?" Chunji said to SeoYoung who opened a bag of chips.
"Not with people she just met." SeoYoung said. "We both just moved to this town and so far Byunghyun is her closest friend other than me." Chunji just nodded his head.
"Ljoe seemed to have gotten close to her as well." Chunji said slowly. He smiled to himself then stole a chip from SeoYoung's bag. "I wonder where there story will lead." SeoYoung stared at Chunji then frowned a little. "What?"
"If only you knew." SeoYoung said sighing. "Back to english" She said wiping crumbs off her fingers and pointing something wrong on Chunji's paper who gaped at her.

I stared at the books then noticed the hair I'd notice anywhere. He's here too? I thought to myself before trying to get a good view of what book he was reading. Sign Language? I read. Then I smiled before quickly grabbing a random book and sitting right across from him.
His hands went up and I blinked at him, he seemed confused when he did these hand gestures. You pretty? was his gesture. I smiled at myself. What the heck is he learning?
Ljoe saw someone sit across from him so he looked up and immediately he flinched. YooJin! He said shocked. I smiled at him waving innocently. His cheeks went pink. H-how long have you been there? He asked.
"A while." I said, also doing sign language gestures. "Why are you learning sign language?" I tilted my head curiously. Ljoe looked down and started flipping through the pages but I took his arm. "You don't have to use sign language."
So I can communicate with you on the same level... He said quietly. I blinked at him then laughed. What's so funny?
"I'm fine talking like this." I smiled softly. Ljoe stared at me and met my gaze. We stared at each other for a second then both our cheeks went pink.
I was reading this for an hour... He pouted. I blinked. Why is sign language so confusing! He cried. I giggled.
"I'll stick to reading your lips." I smiled.
