Amber felt someone is following him, he knew it. He decided to walk as fast as he could and to hide his track at the same time. He can’t afford to have a vulnerable position if he was indeed being followed.  He decided to climb on a tree to have a better visualization, It’s almost twilight and darkness were starting to spread.  He needs more light to see things..

 

He saw a strangely familiar girl who was now looking around as if searching for something, or someone. “Is she looking for me?” Amber asked himself as he weigh if he will show his self or not.  “I can’t let her be alone in the forest, it’s dangerous” Amber sighed as he starts to go down, but before he does.. Birds from the forest start to fly away as if it was being disturbed.   “What’s going on?” He confusedly looks down and he froze when he saw another person now facing the girl. In his distance he can tell that the person is a male but what bothers him is the way that he moves… It’s so fluid as if he was gliding.  His heart starts to beats fast and loud…. Could it be… It’s a Vampire?   ++++++++++   Jessica was driving the speed boat towards the island, she has that uneasy feeling and she doesn’t like it. She recalled what happened earlier today. Things is not going well, maybe returning is a bad idea after all. Now she doesn’t know if what is more dangerous… the council or the hunters. They didn’t left a good impression to the council, she will not be surprised if they will start plotting against their coven now…  Taecyeon was very clear that they want them to be a part of the council, who knows what that man capable of doing?    She gazes at Taeyeon who was now silently looking blankly in the vast sea. She’s been that way since earlier. Jessica feed her immediately after having a safe distance from Seoul.  “Tae are you okay?”  Jessica asked before withdrawing her eyes from the girl.   “Don’t worry about me Sica” Taeyeon answered.   “So what’s the plan now? Are we going stay?”   “I can’t think of a safer place than the Mystic Abbey… we don’t have alot of allies overseas.” Taeyeon starts to open her blood flask, and gulped the metallic taste fluid.   “We also don’t have allies here…”Jessica pointed out.   “They will not touch us, we are old bloods… they will think twice before doing anything”  Taeyeon assured the other girl, but even she is not convince on what she just said.   “They don’t need to touch you to harm you… I’m not worried about us … I’m worried for Krystal, my sister can be an easy target” Jessica whispered. “She don’t have a chance if the council will go for her”   “We will not let that happened” Taeyeon holds Jessica’s shoulder.   Jessica looks back at Taeyeon, She always have this comforting face that calms everything for her ever since she was a child. Never will she doubt anything Taeyeon say. She has her complete trust as well as Sooyoung and Sunny. “I will always be true to our coven,  I can give my life for our family.” Jessica said.   “I know “ Taeyeon smiled weakly at the younger girl . “We all do”   “If in any case that I can’t fulfill my duties anymore..I want you to promise you will look after Sooyoung and Krystal for me” Jessica added seriously.   “What the hell are you saying?! Stop that Sooyeon”  Taeyeon pull back her hands from Jessica as if she was burnt.   “Promise me”    “Wh—‘   “Taeyeon Promise me!”  Jessica yelled.   Taeyeon look at the girl for a couple of seconds, before she sighed “Fine.. I promise” she answered to cut out the conversation.  Taeyeon hates promises, and she hates it even more when any of her sisters blabbers nonsense…. It scares the out of her, she was too attached to them that she can’t stand even having the idea that they will leave her someday. It was plain unacceptable.   “Thank you, you have been a very good sister… for all of us” Jessica gave her a smile.   “Jessica” Taeyeon called.   “Hmm?” Jessica look back again in her direction.   “You need to promise as well” She holds the girls hand on the stirring wheel of the boat.   “Promise what?”   “Don’t ever leave us” Taeyeons face was dead serious; she didn’t leave the younger girls eyes.   “Don’t worry Tae…I will never want to “Jessica tapped Taeyeons hands   The girls smiled unconsciously to each other. +++++++++   “Get away from her!” Amber bravely yelled as he aimed his gun to the man, It was confirmed the man is a vampire.. And a hungry one… you can see his starvation on his face… he is ready to kill.  ‘Amber just focus’ he remind himself.   The man on the other hand was smiling as he watched the boy. “Hmm… Interesting.” He then turned to the young girl “Is he your… lover?” He asked maliciously.   Krystal who still can’t move her body, hissed as her eyes moved between the two men.  ‘Unnie help us..’ She thought of her Unnies who she left in the town.  She shouldn’t leave the town without them. ‘Jessica Unnie…” She wants to cry, but her thoughts were pulled back when the man leaned towards her. Revealing his perfect set of teeth “NO!!!” Krystal shouted in mind.   “Damn it!’ Amber fired his gun to the man, loud gun sound break the silence of the forest.  He had a clear view and he shot him three times in the back..   The man stopped, and turned to the young boy … “You shot me?” He said coyly… and for a split second the man was already in front of him, with one move of his hand Amber’s gun flew few meters away for him.   Amber instinctively jumped back, His body is shaking uncontrorably.. ‘I don’t want to die yet..’ that the only thing that was running in his mind. The predator walked slowly towards him.    ‘What are you doing kill him!’ A familiar voice screamed in his head.   ‘Hyung..’ Amber stared dumbly at the man who is about to kill him.   ‘What are you doing?!’ The voice was angrier than before..   ‘Hyung, I’m so sorry..’ Amber answered.   “RUN!!!” A female voice shouted from a distance.   Amber looked at the horror stricken face of the young girl that he was trying to save, her large dark eyes were field with tears. Her beautiful face displays fear. “RUN! PLEASE!!” she choked.   Amber pulled out his old dagger from his pocket that was given to him by his Hyo hyung… before he knows it he was running
