CHAPTER 14:

DARA

“Kwon Jiyong, this is not funny! I swear!” I glared at him, how can he pour his drink on me? Like what the heck is wrong with this guy?!

“Nothing’s wrong with me baby, we’re riding the rio next and we’re getting wet so I did that” Now he’s calling me baby, ugh!

“Stop making faces, you look stupid”

“Idiot” I replied, I took a sip of my drink and eventually spilled it over him

“WHAT THE HELL!??” he pulled my arm as he looked straight into my eyes,

“Are you trying to hypnotize me Kwon?”

“I am trying”

“I don’t think you can, you forgot, we’re the same” I raised a brow

“UGH! IF YOU WERE JUST- DAMN!” He pushed me to fall in line, this is getting insane, we’ve been half way through every ride in this amusement park, is he not tired of this? We sat together on one small wooden boat and it started,

I shouted, I feel horrible right now. How can this guy make me ride EVERYTHING in here? I know he’s doing this on purpose, he wants me to look funny!

“Dara” I heard him mutter and I looked back at him, nearing the fall

“Yeah?”

“Can you sense something?” I shook my head

“She’s following us”

“WHAT?” My head snapped instantly as I looked at him then near to the boat to fall

“Do you think we should?” I asked and he immediately nodded

“They’re following us…” I nodded and in a second, I heard people asking where we were, damn I forgot about that! And now we’re somewhere here in the amusement park, jungle huh?

“Why are they following us?” I asked

“I don’t know okay? Stop asking questions!”

“How? When I know they’re here, following us and I don’t know why the heck they are doing that!”

“Because they wanted you dead! DAMMIT!” I paused and looked at him

“They want me dead?”

“You heard me”

“But why? I-I didn’t do anything to them!”

“But your grandmother did!”

“Can you please tell me everything that is happening coz I am no fortune teller to know what the fck you guys have in mind!” He just stared at me and growled, ugh this guy!

“We’ll talk about this, but after we run away… We should get going” He started to stand up as we made our way towards the exit of the park and when we reached the gates

“There they are!” I heard someone shout, I looked back to see two people running towards us, Sohee looked back and I heard her shout ‘Follow them’ WHAT THE HECK?

“Jiyong!” I yelped as he took my hand

“Let’s run, faster!” We ran out somewhere I really didn’t know where, Jiyong’s fast… faster than I imagined, I stopped him,

“I think we’re okay now” I said, he just looked at me

“No we’re not” I cocked my head to the side,

“Look Dara… This is no- UGH!” I heard him grunt and smelt his blood, ! They just stabbed him,

“Da-ra, please…” NO! I looked at the guy, I am totally angry right now, I’m trying to stop myself, thank goodness we’re in some forest

“What will you do girl?” I smirked

“I wanna play… Along” I ran past him, turned back and punched him, he’s fast as well but nothing can beat me to this. I know I am not that capable just yet, but I feel these raging hormones inside me, and I wanted to kill this guy, my feelings are heightened

“Stabbing me won’t do any good to you, Mr.” I took his knife, I tried to fight him but he’s strong. I gripped his neck and he choked out,

“Who told you to follow us?” I asked, but I heard Jiyong grunting

“I will not tell you!” he spat blood, I gripped harder

“Really?” I stabbed him and he cried like a wolf, ! Didn’t I know something about other people here? I ran to Jiyong and took the knife from his back, he growled and fell to the ground, OH MY GOSH!

“Are you alright? We need to get you to the hospital!” I was about to stand when he grabbed my arm,

“No… I’ll be fine”

“NO! YOU JUST GOT STABBED!” I shouted

“Dara, I’m a vampire remember?” I looked at him questioningly

“We heal our own wounds, easily” He breathed and stood up,

“Oh”

“Let’s go. You just killed a werewolf” WHAT?

“Werewolf? In the morning?!” and yeah, I killed someone

“Yes”

“Wait, what is this all about?” I asked

“Look, let’s just head home and talk about this alright? I’m hungry” He said, I took my purse and gave him the tablet, he just looked at me

“T-thanks” He muttered, I smiled, the first time he said thanks to me,

“Guess you, hungry, make you a good guy” he smirked

“I am no good guy…” I shook my head “Yeah, you are” I replied as we ran back to our house, well, my house and Bom.
