Chapter 20
What Happens in Seoul~Natalie's POV~
When I woke up the next morning, hugging the pillow beside me, I recalled the dream that I had had that night. I looked out the glass doors onto the balcony and, seeing the clear blue sky, shook the fear away. After showering and getting dressed, I went over to my parents' suite for breakfast.
"So how did your meeting go?" I asked my dad, now that his company's big presentation was done with.
"Well, I think the discussions were pretty promising, although we won't know for sure what the final decision is for at least a few more days," he replied, taking a sip of his coffee.
I sat at the table, munching on a piece of toast. I had agreed to go with my parents on a tour of Seoul in a little while, before going out later. I felt bad that I was kind of ditching them on the whole 'family vacation' thing, but my mom assured me it was fine.
We went all around Seoul on one of those tour bus things, visiting important landmarks and learning a bit about the city's history. I tried to pay attention, but history really wasn't my thing.
After we got back from the tour, I said goodbye to my parents as I went back to my hotel room. I started thinking about whether I should change into something different. Was it because I wanted to impress Hongki? ...Yeah, probably. I started getting overly self-conscious about my appearance, but before I had time to stress about it anymore, I heard a knock at my door. I inhaled a deep breath, then opened the door. There stood Hongki, as cute as always, with a slight smile on his face that only made him look even cuter.
I smiled at him. "Come on in."
