Chapter 16
What Happens in Seoul~Third Person POV~
Hongki heard a knock at the door and answered it, letting Natalie inside.
"Hongki! Is something wrong?" she asked, looking at him worriedly, "On the phone, you sounded like it was very urgent. Are you okay?"
"Oh yeah, yeah, I'm fine," he replied. "Would you like something to drink?"
"...What?" she said, confused. "I thought you needed my help with something."
"That's right! I do," he replied, his face brightening. Natalie blushed as Hongki grabbed her hand and pulled her upstairs to his room. Her eyes widened as he sat her down on his bed, then went to go look for something. She looked around, marveling at Hongki's room. Beside the bed was a small nightstand with a lamp on it. There was also a desk on the other side of the room with a laptop placed on top, as well as a wide bookshelf filled with books, pictures, and awards, among other things. There was another wooden desk against the adjacent wall with different papers scattered across the surface, and a walk-in closet beside that. The room was neater than she had expected it to be.
"I need your opinion," Hongki said, pulling out a guitar, "...On a song I've been working on."
Hongki sat down on the bed beside Natalie, looking at her innocently.
"Oh, um...okay. Is that really all you called me here for?" she asked apprehensively.
He pouted at her. "Okay, okay...continue," she gave in.
He picked up his guitar and began to play a melody. It was gentle and calm, and Natalie listened intently as he began to sing,

As Hongki sang softly, Natalie felt as if there was something more behind his voice with every note that he sang. The words made her heart beat unevenly as it fluttered in her chest. H
