Chapter 19
What Happens in Seoul~Natalie's POV~
I couldn't believe what had just happened. I had just kissed Lee Hongki. I closed my eyes for a minute, and realized that I was tired. It had only been a couple of days; I hadn't exactly caught up to the time difference yet. I fanned myself with my hand; it was really warm in Hongki's room, although that just added to my grogginess. I walked over and a fan that I saw in the corner and sighed contently as a cool breeze began circulating around the room. I went back over to lie down on the bed. If it was any normal situation, I would have been terrified by the fact that I was lying on Hongki's bed, but I was so tired that I didn't give any thought to the matter. Within a few minutes, I had fallen asleep.
When I finally woke up, I sat up and noticed a bottle of water beside me. I smiled and picked it up as I remembered that I had asked for water. I attempted to open the lid on the bottle, but it was too tight. Then I noticed that Hongki was sitting at his desk across the room, scribbling on some papers in front of him. He looked over and smiled when he saw that I was awake. He picked up the papers in front of him and I saw that it was handwritten sheet music as he piled them neatly off to the side.
"Could you open this?" I asked as he walked over to me. He laughed, but opened it anyways, and I thanked him as he handed it back to me.
"How long was I asleep?" I asked as I took a sip of my water.
"About half an hour," Hongki replied.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I think it would be the middle of the night right now in New York," I said, then fully realized what time it was here in Korea. "I should probably get going."
