Chapter 2 ‘Meet Kai’

Kai’s POV

*Beep Beep*

*Beep Beep*

SMACK!

I turned off my alarm and groggily got out of bed, then flung myself in the shower. Another year of school, GREAT!

After a nice warm shower I quickly changed into my uniform, brushed my teeth, styled my hair and quickly came down for breakfast.

“My handsome son has come down for breakfast all by himself!” My mum exclaimed.

In our house there’s only the two of us. My mum was really young when she was pregnant with me. The only options she had was to either abort me or move out of the house. Obviously she moved out of the house but was then abandoned by my father so she raised me herself.

“You’ve grown up so quickly! Soon you’ll be cooking me breakfast instead of me cooking it for you,” she said. “Now, what do you want to eat?”

“Actually I’m going to be late for school so just pack my breakfast with my lunch and I’ll eat it at school, Su Ho hyung will be here to pck me up really soon!” I told her.

“O.K. but make sure you finish all of your food,” she told me as she went into the kitchen to pack my breakfast.

“Neh, Umma!”I replied.

“Here you go,” she said as she handed me my lunch container.

“Thanks Umma looks really good,” I complimented.

“You’re welcome”

“Hey Umma. See how I told you last night that I’ll really try this year at school… I really meant it…”

“Yeah I know you did”

*Careless, Careless. Shoot Anonymous, Anonymous*

“Sup hyung! You here already?” I said as I answered my phone.

“Yep! Now get your outside before I have to drag it out!” replied Su Ho hyung.

“Yeah, yeah I’m coming,” I said as I went over to my mum and kissed her on the cheek before going outside the house.
