Jaejoong started to run, ignoring the surprised calls from his underling, his mind blank.

He jumped up the stairs and unconsciously loaded his gun. One clean shot.

He skidded around a sharp corner, his hands lightly grazing the thick, velvety carpet. He could see the door. The only place where Taemin would keep his most treasured things-

A light presence, just behind the slate grey shadows. The reaching hand pulled back – jump sideways as a bullet hurtles along;

Grimaces. Smiles.

‘Hey.’

That fluid, flowing, liquid voice.

Metal slices the thick, thin air.

Wine. Red, pain and blood.

The gun drops as he collapses on his knees. Shocked face and long, white hands wrapping around the small gap - hot. Hot with the boiling red, pouring out of his slender neck.

‘Pfft.’

‘Sir, Jaejoong hyungnim is calling you to the upstairs lobby.’

Yunho glanced back to meet a bowing head of a newbie. He frowned as he brought his gun down from the ledge by the casino rooms.

‘Now?’

‘Yes, Sir.’

Yunho rolled his eyes and threw his gun to Changmin, who was leaning out from the ledge to view the fight downstairs. He smiled at him.

‘I’ll be right back.’

The surge of men pushed forward continuously. Never-ending and never-tiring. Their bodies screamed out the desire for the spurt of blood, adrenaline raised up high.

Jonghyun looked back to see Taemin, nonchalantly dipping straight into the very centre of the chaos, his white, elegant form standing out from the mass of raging men. As if he noticed his worried gaze, he turned his head back, ever so slightly, just enough for him to see a glimpse of a smile –

Already stained with the wild, uncontrollable thrill of a massacre.

Yunho swiftly dodged the attack, his face set in concrete, his body rigid with intense emotion. All he could do to stop out from running to the broken form, breathing roughly; barely balancing himself on his knees. The stranger’s presence disappears once again, and impatience took over him as the process repeated, over and over again. Attack. Dodge. Hide. Atack. Dodge. Hide.

Yunho swore and prepared himself to get himself away from the next bullet. Realizing how foolish he had been, leaving everything behind downstairs. The rush of metal, and the gasp as it completely avoided him, down the corridor a little further, diagonally. He realizes a split-second too late where it was heading for.

Straight through Jaejoong’s head.

The figure freezes. Topples from the force, and doesn’t get back up again. The red blends in with the carpet, leaving Jaejoong looking like an empty, white puppet.

Collapsed, un-human.

A howl of pain. He runs towards him – forgetting everything. Ignoring his screaming brain – ignoring all his instincts that tells him that he will die the moment he turns his back-

Bam. Jiyong mouthes. Watching from the shadows and pretending to shoot the collapsing man childishly. Seungho smiled at him and watched as the duo fell, his hand and gun falling to his side.
