"Where are you going?" called Mr Jung as he approached Sooyoung who was exiting the hospital.

"Oh, Mr Jung"
"Im leaving Sica for good"
"She's in good hands of Yuri, i promise"

Mr Jung frowned.

"Have you bid her goodbye?"

"Nope, i didnt want to"
"She wouldnt let me go" replied Sooyoung with a cool shrug.

"But.."
"Sooyoung.. err.."

"Hmm?"
"You can just speak your mind, Mr Jung"
"Its okay, you can get comfortable with me and talk whatever you want"

Mr Jung paused for awhile before continuing.

"Its like this.."
"Theres this talented boy back in my realm"
"He managed to sort of found out the cure for Jessica's condition"

"Jinjja?!"
"That is so nice of him!"

Mr Jung sighed.

"Its not that easy.."
"Im sorry Sooyoung to have asked you this"
"But can i have some of the venom that is hidden inside your body since you were born?"
"It was said to be the strongest of all"

"My venom..?"

Mr Jung nodded while Sooyoung was shocked at his sudden request.
Minutes later, Sooyoung smiled.

"Of course"
"If thats what it can save Sica"
"Go ahead and extract as much as you want"

"Jinjja?!"
"Oh thank you so much Sooyoung!"
"Really, thank you so so much!"

"Mr Jung, dont mention it"
"We all want the best for Sica"
"We all want her to recover"
"If thats what i can do, go ahead"

"Still, thanks"
"I wont take a lot but just a syringe"

Sooyoung chuckled.

"Take more"
"I'll be leaving soon"

Mr Jung frowned as he wriggled his eyebrow.

"You sure you wanna leave?"
"Are you sure you can leave Sooyeon like this?"
"You know, you can always stay here"

Sooyoung smiled and waved it off.

"Im sure"
"Me staying here any longer wont make any difference in whether will Sica choose me or not"
"Plus, she is happy with Yuri there"
"So why should i stay?"

"But-"

"Its okay"
"Im going to be just fine, all i needed is some time"
"So when do you want to get the venom from me?"

"Anytime for you"

"How about now?"

"Now?"

Sooyoung nodded.
Mr Jung smiled and nodded.

"Come over to my house then"
"We'll do it there"

Back inside Jessica's ward,
Yuri was sitting on the coach by Jessica's bedside,
watching the latter rest.

But something wasnt right there.
Jessica didnt really fall asleep instead,
she was tossing and turning about.

Yuri was getting kind of worried and she walked over to Jessica,
brushing her fringe away.

"Whats wrong sweetheart?"
"Do you feel unwell or something?"
"You're kinda warm you know"

Jessica wanted to kept quiet but instead,
she let out a soft wince, a pained expression plastered over her face.

"Sweetheart, you have to tell me what is wrong"
"If not how am i going to help you?"

"..."

"Please, sweetheart"
"I dont like to see you in discomfort, sweetheart"

Jessica couldnt take it any as she burst into tears.
Turning her head to face Yuri, Yuri was shocked.
Shocked to see Jessica in tears.

"Whats wrong sweetheart?" cooed Yuri worriedly as she wiped the tears off Jessica's face.

"I hate you Yul!"
"I hate you!"
"Because of you my arms are hurting so badly!"
"I hate you!" exploded Jessica in tears, obviously in real discomfort.

Yuri immediately pulled Jessica into her arms,
wrapping her arms tightly around Jessica.

"Im sorry sweetheart"
"Im really sorry, i'll make it up for you"
"Please, dont cry sweetheart"
"Please"
"Hit me or whatsoever but just please dont cry"

"It hurts.."
"It really-"

Footsteps were heard as the two latter turned to the door.
It was Mr and Mrs Jung entering the room.
Yuri immediately got up and helped Jessica back onto the bed gently.

"What are you doing here?"
"Havent you caused her enough pain?!" scolded Mrs Jung angrily.
"I wasnt here doesnt mean i didnt know what happened earlier this afternoon!"
"I trusted you to keep her safe!"

"Im sorry"

"Sorry?"
"What is sorry for when everything was done"
"And its not as if sorry could rewind everything!"

Mr Jung gave Mrs Jung a little tug and whispered,
"Shh.."
"Dear, we still need her help"

"Help?"
"She have to help whether or not if we scold her!"
"She owes everything to Sooyeon!"

Yuri was curious on what were they talking about.
Watched the two communicate in interest.

"Sorry?"
"Help?"

"Wait young lady"
"We've yet to even finish our conversation"
"Dont try to change the topic!"

Mrs Jung's face went red with anger.

"I thought i heard you told Sooyeon her cancer is fake?!"
"Then why are you still doing here?!"
"You dont believe her, why are you even here?"
"Dont think i dont know what happened earlier today when we werent here!"

Mrs Jung went on ranting and scolding Yuri while Mr Jung sighed softly,
shaking his head showing Jessica an awkward smile.

"Omma.."
"Stop.. please..?"

Mrs Jung turned to Jessica,
with a pair of worried eyes and sat down beside her.
Holding onto her warm hands, brushing her fringe aside.

"Sweetie"
"Omma just doesnt want her to hurt you again"
"Are you sure you want to be with her?"
"Again?"

At that point of time, Yuri was watching Jessica with puppy pleading eyes.
Hoping a to hear a 'YES' from Jessica.

Jessica shrugged.

"I really dont know omma"
"Im really confuse now"

Mrs Jung sighed.
Quietly, Mr Jung stood up and left a tap on Yuri,
motioning her to follow him out.

Nodding a little, Yuri quietly exited the room behind Mr Jung,
leaving Jessica in the room with Mrs Jung.

"Yuri"
"I've something to ask of you"

"Of course im willing to"
"You dont have to ask but just tell me" said Yuri with an apologetic smile.
"I'll do my best"

"Im glad to hear that"
"But the thing is, physicians in our realm had found a way"
"To try destroy the susbtance blocking Sooyeon's DNA"

"Really?!"
"Are you all going to give her the cure?!"

Yuri's eyes glistened with hope and happiness when she heard Mr Jung's words.

"I've yet to complete my sentence"

Yuri had her head casted downwards.

"Im sorry"

"Nevermind"
"Just as i was saying, the cure"
"The physicians said something about the venom inside you and the people of your kinds"
"As well as lycans"

"You need it?"

Mr Jung nodded as he pulled a cylinder out with a colour liquid.

"I've gotten Sooyoung's"
"I need yours too"
"These two venom is the one they are lacking in"
"We need to try if not Sooyeon will not be able to survive the cancer"
"We all know that"

Yuri pulled Mr Jung to a visitors lounge and locked the door,
pulled down the curtains.

"Here, take it now" said Yuri firmly.

Mr Jung's eyes widened in shock at Yuri's sudden behaviour.

"Why so sudden?"

"Because its only mine you're lacking of"
"If you can get it earlier and bring it back earlier"
"They might be able to come up with the cure earlier and Jessica will be cured"
"I want Jessica to be healthy again"

"You sure you want to do it here?"
'You should find a place comfortable to do it cause you'll feel weak and lethargic after it"
"Sooyoung had that"
"Which i didnt expect it, at all"

Yuri shook her head and smile.

"Its okay, im sure i can take it"
"Come"

Yuri sat there while Mr Jung took out the syringe and stabbed it into Yuri's neck, deeply.
Not even letting out a wince, Yuri sat there firmly and stabily while Mr Jung slowly extracted her venom out.
A minute later, Mr Jung was done and Yuri was still there sitting but she looked a little pale?

"Are you okay?"

Yuri nodded with a weak smile.

"Im fine, just a little dizzy"
"Go back and pass them the venom"
"Please, come out with the cure soon"

"I will"
"Thanks"
"And i suggest you stay here for a few hours before going back to visit Sooyeon"
"She wont want to see you looking so under weather"

"Thanks"

Mr Jung was turning for the door when Yuri said,
"Im really sorry what what i've done"

Releasing the grip on the door knob, Mr Jung turned around.

"Being sorry is one thing"
"Which im not bothered anymore becauase no matter how many times someone apologises"
"I cant see the sincerity in it"

"Im really sorry"
"Please let me do something to prove it to you, Mr Jung"

"Its not neccessary"
"These extra provings are redundant"
"All i want to know, and is concern about"
"Will you keep my daughter safe from now?"
"Will you give her the promised happiness from now?"
"And will you trust her fully with the whole you from now?"

"I will"
"I will!"
"I WILL!" said Yuri gratefully as she quickly stood up and bowed at Mr Jung,
with a formal 90 degrees bow although she stumbled a little.

"Good"
"Thats all i want to know"
"Sooyeon, its up to you if she were to forgive you or not"

With that Mr Jung walked out of the room,
closing the door behind him, smiling a little.

Putting a warm towel over Jessica's arms,
Mrs Jung left a forehead peck on Jessica.

"Sweetie, omma loves you"

Jessica smiled.

"I love you too"
"Sorry, omma"
"For worrying you like these all the time"
"I dont want it to happen too.."

Mrs Jung was caressing Jessica's bandaged hands,
silently wiping the tears of her face.

"I just want you to be safe and healthy"
"Nothing else matters, you know?"

"Even Yuri?"

"Omma know you love Yuri, sweetie"
"Give omma sometime, i'll accept her again"
"Okay?"

Jessica nodded happily.

"Thanks omma"
"Really really love you!"

"You love me because im willing to accept Yuri?" asked Mrs Jung teasingly.
"Now you're in trouble"

"Nononono!"
"I meant i love you for who you are omma!"
"For whatever you've done and not done for me!" defended Jessica immediately with a chuckle.

"Nope, its too late"

Jessica pouted.

"Please?"

"Nope"
"You've a price to pay"

Jessica sighed sadly.

"What price?" asked Jessica reluctantly.

Mrs Jung smirked and cupped Jessica's face in her hands.

"We'll have a test"
"And see if Yuri is really back for you"
"Or that her feelings are no longer real for you"

"But how?"

Walking through the great hall of the realm,
Mr Jung was holding onto the two small cylinders tightly.
Upon reaching the laboratory, Mr Jung's eyes were rolling about,
scanning the place for the young talented man.

"Minho-sshi?" called Mr Jung loudly.

Few moments later, quick shuffling of feets were heard.

"Oh, my prince"
"You're back?"

"I've the venom you've asked for"
"This is from the lycan and this is from the immortal"
"Can you try and come up with the antidote now?"

Minho's eyes glistened with happiness.
He loves to play with stuff like that.
Getting his hands on something which might not even be possible for me,
the happiness inside him were beyond description.

"Kamsahamnida!"
"I'll do it now, but please give me at least a day to pass you the cure"

"Okay, i'll be here for 1 whole day then"
"Please do come and look for me soon"
'hope to hear good news from you, Minho-sshi"

"You will, my prince"

A few hours before the 1 day deadline given to Minho were up,
Minho had turned up outside Mr Jung's room.
Giving it a light knock, Minho entered the room with a bow.

"My prince, i've managed to concot the antidote"
"Here it is"
"Has been tested and it worked"

Mr Jung immediately shot up from the bed and walked towards Minho.

"Really?"
"How did it go?"
"Whose veno, did you use?" asked Mr Jung curiously as he took over the cure drom Minho.

"Actually, i've used both"
"Because the substance is too strong i had to use both the venom to be able to break and destroy it"

"Oh.."
"So how must this be administered, Minho-sshi?"

"It is really easy"
"You just have to get it injected through the back bone or spine"
"And wait for the cure to take effect"
"A painful burning sensation might be felt in the first 5 minutes but"

"But?"

"It will subside from there"
"Probably to make the receiver feel better"
"Rub and massage their back a little"
"It helps"

"So, Sooyeon should be as good as new in 10 minutes time?"

"Yup thats my assumption"
"But thats only if theres is no complications"

Mr Jung's eyes widedned in shock.

"What complications will there be?!"
"Why didnt you tell me earlier?!"

Minho smiled.

"My prince, calm down"
"My cures had never experienced complications"
"But of course, every medicine has their own complications"
"Because this is used with really poisonous venom, the complicated part might lead to daeth"

"DEATH?!"
"What do you think you're doing?!"
"She's a princess here!"

Minho chuckled.

"I know"
"But either ways, she will still die right?"
"Leukemia, or the complication from this cure which is less than 0.01% my prince"
"Its worth a gamble"

"Gamble?!"
"You take the princess' life as a gamble?!"
"Do you believe that i can have you killed immediately with just a word from my mouth?!"

Minho nodded.

"You can have me killed"
"Only if princess Sooyeon died"
"Im willing to take up this responsibility"

Mr Jung raised her eyebrows and thought for a moment.

"Very well"
"We'll see how it will turn out"

Before Mr Jung left, Minho turned to him and said,
"And my prince"
"Please tell princess Sooyeon this will be the only time that she can be cured like this"
"If there is a second time with the DNA blocked, the cure will never work again"

"There will never be a next time, Minho-sshi"
"I will not allow something similiar to happen again"

"Sweetheart"
"Are you feeling better?"

Yuri was back in Jessica's ward,
her concern hand were over Jessica's forehead.

"What are you doing..?"

"The doctor says the jab"
"Will have side effects llike fever"
"Im just checking it out" said Yuri with a shrug.

"I told you im-"

The ward door shot open.
It was Mr and Mrs Jung entering the ward with a smile.

"Sooyeon, we've brought the cure back"

Jessica's eyees widened at the word 'cure'.
Never had she expected to have gotten the cure so fast/

"We'll give it to you, sweetie"
"But.."

Mrs Jung turned to Yuri and shot her a strange look.
With a nod, Yuri turned to Jessica a smiled.

"I'll be back after you're being cured, sweetheart"
"See you later" said Yuri as she left a peck on Jessica's forehead.
"Love you"

With that, Yuri stood up and left the room after bowing a little at Mr and Mrs Jung.
After Yuri left, Mr and Mrs Jung closed the door and sat on each side of her bed.

"Sweetie, we'll give you the cure now okay?"
"It has to be given through a jab"
"Omma promises you that it will be the last okay?"

Jessica sighed and nodded sadly as she rolled up her sleeves.

"Sweetie"

"Sooyeon, sorry"
"But this jab will be given through your back"

"My back?"
"It went through a lot already.. appa"

"I know, i know"
"Appa's baby girl appa knows"
"But this is the last time, appa promise!"

Mr Jung shot Jessica a playful smile as he help her daughter lie on her stomach while Mrs Jung gave the jab.
Jessica winced a little as Mrs Jung released the liquid into her back.
Seconds after she was done, Jessica started sobbing quietly.

"Appa.."
"Burns.."
"It stings.."

Mrs Jung let everything down and started massaging and rubbing her back like as instructed by Minho.

"Is it better?"
"Appa knows it will hurt"
"But it will last for only 5 minutes"
"Sooyeon can overcome it, for sure right?"

For the whole 5 minutes,
Jessica was quietly sobbing while Mrs Jung massaged and rubbed her back.
Next, the pain and burning sensation then slowly subsided with Jessica letting out a small sigh of relief.

"Feeling better now sweetie?"

Jessica nodded as she wiped her tears away.
Sitting up slowly with the help of Mr and Mrs Jung.

"Let omma see if it worked okay?"

Jessica nodded and watch Mrs Jung peel the plaster off her hand.
Indeed, her hand was almost as good as new.
The cure worked.

"Ohmygod!"
"Sweetie!!!" exclaimed Mrs Jung in tears of joy as she pulled Jessica into a warm strong embrace.

The next one was Mr Jung.
Mrs Jung literally jumped on him and hugged him so tightly that Mr Jung let out a cough.

"Dear, i love you!"
"Thank you so much, for curing Sooyeon!!"

Mr Jung smiled.

"I love you too"
"You dont have to thank me dear"

"I wonder how are things inside.."
"So quiet now.." mumbled Yuri to herself worriedly.

Sitting outside the ward,
on the bench provided in the hospital.

""Sweetheart, you've been cured by now right?"
"Whats ikeeping you inside for so long?"
"We have so much things to do together once you're cured"
"I've so much things to show you, to apologise and make things up to you, sweetheart"

Inside Yuri's heart, it was thumping really rapidly.
She was nervous, worried and excited.
Too much feelings in it made her feel like she was about to suffocate when Mrs Jung's voice stopped her.

"Sooyeon!!"
"Sweetie!! Wake up!"
"You cant just go yet!"
"You cant!"

"How can this be.."
"The lower than 0.01%.."
"It cant be.."

From the outside, Yuri heard as if Mrs Jung were sobbing really sadly in the room.

"It cant be.." muttered Yuri as she opened the room door quietly.

Watching from the back, 
it was Mrs Jung, holding onto Jessica's hands crying bitterly while Mr Jung stood by her side and teared.

"It cant be!"
"Why?!" shouted Yuri in tears.
"How can it be?!"
"You said it was the cure!"

Mr Jung turned to Yuri with a sad look.

"It was said to be the cure Yuri"
"I dont know what had happened.."
"5 minutes ago she was recovering well and then"
"She started gasping for air"
"Before we could do anything, her heart rate went dead"

"Noo.."
"You're lying.." sobbed Yuri bitterly,
watching the latter on bed from the back.
"You cant.."
"Sweetheart.. how could you..?"

"YOU!" boomed Mrs Jung angrily as she stomped over to Yuri.
"All because of you!"
"If you hadnt got her into trouble!"
"She wouldnt have needed the cure too!"
"Sooyeon wouldnt have died like these!"
"Return my daughter to me!!!!" cried Mrs Jung bitterly as she held on Yuri's shirt,
tugging her to and fro while Yuri just stood there, dazed.

Mr Jung couldnt take it anymore as he pulled Mrs Jung from Yuri,
dragging her out of the ward.
Just before Mr Jung left, he threw Yuri a piece of envelope.

"Sooyeon had this written for you"
"Before she took the cure because she had a bad feeling about it.."

Yul, im sorry.
I love you.
Im sorry that i love you.
Im sorry that i've hurt you.
Im sorry that i've left you.

Omma and appa came into this room and told me about the cure.
You left the room.
I was worried and nervous.
But i had this bad feeling inside me.
Nevertheless, i tried the cure.

If you're reading this letter now,
its when im gone.

Just remember that i love you.
But please, please dont snap your own neck.

Tears were streaming down Yuri's face as she read the letter.
Her sweetheart.
How could it be that she left like this?
Its too abrupt.
Yuri couldnt accept the fact as she walked over to Jessica and held onto her hands.

"Sweetheart"
"I thought we promised to not leave each other again?"
"Can you tell me.. what is happening now..?"
"Where.. are you now..?"

Yuri paused as she wiped her tears away.

"Tell me where you are you, sweetheart"
"I'll go there and look for you"
"We'll be together, forever"
"I cant, cant live without you, sweetheart"
"Can you hear me..?"

Despite Yuri's words,
Jessica did not even budge a little.
She's gone, for good so suddenly.

It made Yuri feel so helpless and hopeless for the very first time.
The news, crashed onto Yuri,
leaving her with nothing to lean on but tears to express her sadness.

Her love,
for Jessica is real this time round?
